Our Advanced Auto Service & Tire Centers location in Mesa has been a staple in the Mesa tire and auto repair service scene for more than twenty years. Between Manager Larry Ruston and Service manager Mark Cummings, the store has some of our most experience service writers. They make a great team. Our Mesa location can handle most any service from mounting and balancing tires on new road force balancing machines to full engine and transmission service. We’re the Mesa tire experts.
Close to Falcon Field, our Advanced Auto location is only about a mile south of the Boeing factory where they build the Apache AH-64 and the AH-6 helicopters. Our free shuttle service can both drop off and pick up customers from their homes and local businesses. We offer free wifi in our waiting room. We also have a full-service RV bay with heavy duty lift. Appointments are appreciated.

Advanced Auto Service & Tire Centers are locally owned. we currently have 14 stores in Arizona, 3 in Scottsdale. One in each of the following cities Phoenix, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, Flagstaff, Chandler, Surprise and Gilbert. You can expect the same level of customer satisfaction at all of our locations.

Larry R.
Manager
Like many of our managers, Larry’s first car, a 1972 Dodge Duster, easily slid into that muscle car category. Even though the Duster came with a pretty hefty V8, Larry decided to add some personal performance upgrades that included a new set of exhaust headers, rear racing slick tires and wheels and significantly smaller diameter front wheels and tires. Larry stated «it definitely had that funny car look to it.» The biggest problem that Larry had with the 245h.p. V8 engine was the timing chains. This eventually led Larry to abandon the muscle car and hop into a little 1980 MG convertible. After the Duster he never had an issue with timing chains. Before the MG he never had an electrical issue.
As with many local kids, Larry attended Arizona State University. After graduating with a business degree he was promptly recruited by Goodyear Corporate as an Assistant Store Manager. In just 11 months, Larry’s automotive knowledge and customer service skills helped promote him to a Store Manag
