The work was ok. The time frame Ok, on time. The price was ok too. However there was a doubt, a question of honesty. One of my custom parts was replaced by a cheap plastic one. Just 30 minutes before the appointment I had changed the lights my self and accounted for all. I called the office to see if they had «misplaced» it and just to look around if it was left on the garage floor. I does happen. I understand; and a simple «sorry» we lost it, or «it was damaged and a plastic one was put in its place», would have sufficed. However, I feel that I was lied to, and told it was missing when the car was left there with all accounted for. It is just a $ 20 cap. That is not the issue. The problem is that it creates mistrust now. And I would think twice now to trust my cars with bigger jobs to a company that lacks accountability with something so simple.

Did not enjoy our car buying experience from this establishment after 3 issues less than two weeks of having the car.

So its was a hot summer day in the suburbs of Phoenix, AZ. My kids school orientation just let out at high noon… i decided that before lunch I stop and get gas at local Circle K (right on front of Red Mountain Tire) and as I went to start up my baby (jeep liberty) her A/​C compressor decided to seize the moment of the unbearable heat and die! Oh F:(k was my first choice of language. Now I knew the compressor was going, and had just received a new one for installation. After a few kind citizens tried to help me out, I decided to drag my ass to Todd’s shop an ask for help. Todd sent me to Dusty, who was awesome in diagnosing my problem and was ready to help. Todd and I agreed on a price to repair her, and then the customer service kicked in… Todd decided to offer me and my son a ride to home that was 2 miles away. Moreover, and within 3 hours, Todd called me at home to tell me that my liberty was ready. He also offered a ride back to his shop, which I didn’t need! Upon arrival, Todd and Dusty helped me out quickly and explained a few other items I might consider in order to keep my Jeep running optimally.
I will return for their suggested repairs, and I will also consider having my other car serviced by them.

I usually don’t write negative reviews, the way I see it, if I appreciate the service or product, as part of my appreciation I want to contribute something positive back to the company in the form of a review. A positive review is something practical and will potentially benefit the company and hopefully inspire business for them. This review is not positive and I am writing as a warning to everyone and I do not have anything positive to say because I feel that it is wrong to attempt to take advantage of someone’s trust and naivety just to make some extra money. That is called scamming, not good business. Worse yet is when you get called on it, you further disrespect the customer by hanging up on them in a juvenile fit because your covers were pulled.
Todd at RED MOUNTAIN TIRE AND AUTO on Recker and McKellips, you should be ashamed of yourself!
To get so mad you can’t even form a comprehensible sentence and in your despondency hang up on a customer frustrated because you couldn’t validate charging $ 400.00 for a $ 167.00 part.
Shame on you.
I was then prepared to dismiss this insult, still willing to pay the overpriced labor fee to install the part which I would personally deliver. Oh how angry you got when I pointed out the part I was supplying has a lifetime warranty so I did not require your warranty which was your excuse for a $ 400.00 charge, once again, on a $ 167.00 part.
This was one hour ago, my truck is ready to pick up and my whole bill is $ 232.00 plus tax.
Todd, if you are not angry with me anymore and ever need any automotive work done… I know a guy.
