Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis I-240 & Perkins

Stayed here for one night during my road trip… check-​in was easy… friendly staff… things that needs to be worked on…
— water pressure in the shower and the sink
— elevator — was scary riding the elevator, it was shaking as it stopped as if it was about to drop
— exercise room — granted it was small, but it was dirty
— wifi is slower then turtle
Overall, I would stay here again, but I hope they will spend some time and money for some improvements. The beds were very soft, but good enough to spend the night.

Considered a rough neighborhood in Memphis, but seemed safe enough to me – and I’ve traveled nationwide. Everything was fine. But you can tell it used to be a lesser brand property — their cosmetic and management changes can’t conceal the fact that the walls and floors/​ceilings are thin and that the hallways are narrow. But, hey, the price is right, the location is good, and it’s true to the quality of a Marriot Fairfield. I would stay here again.

This is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. I believe her name is Jasmine she was very great. When I was stupid multiple days in a row and could not get on the Wi-​Fi she helped me.
Overall the facility is clean and the rooms are nice and comfortable. They have a great breakfast spread in the morning. I’ve seen bigger spread that other Marriott but this was a small hotel and they had a nice amount for their population.
Their gym on site is tiny. But they have a coupon for you to go to another gym for a week pass. Someone else’s review said the gym was in walking distance. I have no idea where the gym was because when I looked on the computer it would like it was 10 miles away. I’m not driving 10 miles to go to the gym. So that would have been nice to actually use but oh well.
Depending on what you’re doing their location is great. Super close to the airport and easy to get to. And really not too far from the heart of Memphis and lots of the touristy things to do. Nice job overall

Staying one night to catch an early flight in Memphis. Terrible wifi, poor toilet pluming, worst fitness center ever. The room is comfortable and clean. That’s all.

We’re staying here during vacation. They don’t have enough towels, the non-​smoking rooms smell like smoke, the pool is disgusting and our room wasn’t cleaned until almost 4pm. I was told there aren’t enough towels because they keep being stolen, maintenance doesn’t work weekends so the pool is untreated and no one knew why housekeeping didn’t come after being called 3 times.
The positive, the breakfast isn’t bad and there is plenty of parking.
I complained to Marriott about the poor service. The hotel manager took $ 10 off our bill.

I stay over 75 nights out per year and this is by far the nastiest marriott I have been to in a long time.
The positive is the staff were very kind.
The negative is that this hotel has not been updated since Bill Clinton was in the White House! The ac unit only partially worked and there was mildew in the bathroom. An overall tell tale is that the two front doors are hard to open. I’m surprised Marriott allows this hotel to be in this condition!

Traveling across states for work… Decent value for the rate (used Hotwire). They also had pretty decent breakfast. Even had walnuts as condiment to accompany cereals.

It has the comfort and cleanliness that you would expect from a budget Marriott. I have stayed here twice.

Shares a partnership with a neighboring gym, in walkable distance

Parking can be tough if the hotel is at capacity and the neighboring gym is busy.

This place is a dump. the rooms appear to be nice and clean but they are very damp and dingy. Upon check in I had to get my room switched twice until I finally found a room that I could get into and once I was able to get into the room that the air conditioning worked. The bathrooms are pretty well used and not taken care of and there isn’t much near the hotel as far as food options. The area is actually pretty unsafe and I would bet you can find a better deal in safer area.

1. The gym is full of gnats. I HAD to run after a day of tough work and it was the worst (short) run ever.
2. It took me ten minutes to get the shower on. Plus five minutes to figure out the temperature because the knob is broken.
3. I can’t turn the shower off. I called and they don’t seem concerned and I’m still waiting.
4. I would like to sleep at some point tonight and I am not pleased!

As usual the Fairfield didn’t disappoint! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was satisfying and the shower head pressure was wonderful after being on the road all day and most of the night.

Stayed here twice during my recent road trip, on the way to PA and on the way back.
The only issue I saw was that parking could get tight if they get really busy.
Service by the staff was great. The room (yes, I had the same room twice) was clean, quiet (even though next to the elevator) and comfy.
I’ll be back on my next trip through Memphis.

Very clean, manager was VERY accommodating and the staff was very friendly.

Do not stay here!!! We were robbed traveling through to Florida and they did nothing to help but shrug there shoulders!!!
