This place is a lifesaver! It is clean, professional, and everyone is polite, friendly, and immediately puts you at ease. They are totally upfront about the cost, which is so refreshing since most urgent care is not transparent about costs. Dr. Veal is incredibly knowledgable but still manages to make you feel like you are talking to an old friend. What a great place!

What a gem of a place in Venice. I saw Hannah who was caring, thorough and knowledgeable. The facility is easy to find, there’s free parking and it’s very clean. It’s walk in only but there was no wait — I was seen right away. They also took my insurance — what a relief! Really happy with their professionalism and have already referred some friends there.

I can’t get over how amazing this place is. I was having some minor issues, and they were SO NICE! Beautiful facility, wonderful staff who didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t need. I live in DTLA and work on the west side but would drive her from home for care anyday. Would totally recommend this clinic over any other!

I usually don’t write reviews but this place TOTALLY deserves one. I went today to get a full check up, pap and blood work done. The staff was friendly and attentive. I didn’t have to wait a long time at all. Dr. Veal was absolutely amazing and she had the best bed side manner I’ve ever encountered in a Dr. She really cares and makes an effort to make you feel comfortable and it really shows and makes a HUGE difference. I have a complete and total fear of syringes and having my blood drawn. Dr. Veal and her nurse did everything to make me feel more comfortable and helped me to calm down. I can’t even express how much I appreciated that. This was the first time I’ve had my blood drawn to where it didn’t hurt or feel really evasive. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for being patient with me while I practically had a panic attack while having my blood drawn. The price for everything and all the tests was more than fair, especially when you don’t have insurance. I’m so happy I found The West Side Walk in Clinic. What a great addition to Venice! YAY!

I can’t stress enough how much this clinic came through for me. I was part of a last minute United Nations consultancy deployment to South Sudan. The paperwork necessary for a deployment like this is insane (rapid host-​country visa acquisition, security clearances and training courses, tax and income evaluations, HR forms, psychological evaluations, and pertinent here… medical clearances). On top of everything else, I had less than four days to get a physical and blood work done before I was considered safe to travel. Not only did Westside Walk In pull the labs early for me — and I hesitate to mention that here, because I don’t want people taking advantage of them — but they also assisted me in all the paperwork and email communications to both UN: HR and UN: Medical. It is not hyperbole to say that I would not have been deployed at all if not for the way this clinic handled my situation. It was also ridiculously affordable, no hidden fees, no bait and switch economics, nothing like that. Everything totally on the up and up. Healthcare in American is a funny game, but these guys seem to really play fair. I love this place.

I heard from you guys from the angels and when my friend had a ruptured ear she went there and was sooooooooo happy, clean place, amazing energy from everyone that works there and affordable. I am so grateful and she is getting better! Thank you so much!

The good: You know exactly how much you will be paying when you walk in the front door. No BS, unlike the private medical offices where you have no clue how much your out of pocket cost will be until you get your bill.
They offer some basic lab tests, so much easier to walk in and get your tests done without having to go to a regular physician or hospital. In addition, you walk in and out within 15 minutes and the office is clean!
The Grey: Only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because of some of the misleading (mis-​informed maybe?) comments. People mention Dr. Hannah Veal in the reviews; she is a Physicians Assistant and not an actual doctor. Sure, she can read your test results, but you probably need to see a real doctor to get an accurate diagnosis of whatever brings you in to the clinic.
Will visit again if I need a blood work or other routine test done, but not for an office visit.

When I came to the clinic today, half an hour before closing, I was sure they are gonna tell me I came late and to come back tomorrow. To my surprise, not only they let me in, they stayed after hours for me, without even once rolling their eyes or rushing me out. I was waiting only 5 minutes and I had my EKG and blood test done in no time. The place is clean and the staff is very nice.
Lovely (and super hot…) Dr. Hannah examined me herself, and told me all the prices in advance. I was so happy to hear that it’s way less than I expected. She didn’t try to «sell» me all the unnecessary tests. They don’t charge extra just because I am a tourist and have no insurance (like other clinics), and I got $ 15 off for checking into Unilocal.
I am really impressed, and glad that I found the place where I can do all those basic tests without waiting and for such reasonable price. Thank you!

I went here because I am between jobs, thus no health insurance. The Dr here gave more attention and interest to help me with my health than more former Drs at UCLA network and Kaiser Permanente. They weren’t rushed. They listened. And they helped give me full info and options to understand what my options were. Super impressed.

This clinic is so great! Clean facility, nice art on the wall, nice receptionist. Professional and efficient.

Came in for a last minute visit. The office is very clean and staff seemed very friendly! I came in and was helped right away. Dr. was super friendly!

Took my fiancé here twice for an awful stomach bug. He was seen right away both times. The rooms are clean and really modern to the point where you can control your own temperature (instead of dealing with frigid temperatures while you have a fever!), listen to music and dim the lights.
Dr. Hannah is wonderful. She and I strategically cajoled my fiancé into an IV he didn’t want during his second visit, and she inserted the IV herself flawlessly on the first time. He winced just a little and was surprised when it was already over. Her bedside manner was perfect, which he needed due to a fear of needles and because he nearly never gets stomach issues, so the whole thing was all new territory. She checked on him several times and was very attentive and patient.
I love that there’s a free follow up visit within a week. He turned down the IV on his first visit despite the strong recommendation. He got the anti nausea shot and mostly felt better but then got much worse later when it wore off (as expected, hence the IV recco), so it was really nice to go back worry free the next day and get him set up with what he needed.
There’s convenient proximate parking in the back. All the staff are incredibly friendly. It’s appointed with everything you need. It even has good free Wi-​Fi, which is nice for those of us there with loved ones for hours during work days in case you’re in a pinch (felt a little bad about working but he was asleep getting the IV anyway). In what was otherwise a dark and awful situation, this urgent care stood out as a bright light and a healing haven.

I took my cousin who was visiting from the UK and thought she had the flu. They saw her right away and we got a $ 15 dollar off coupon for checking into Unilocal.
They were very friendly staff. Very clean facility and she said the doctors were amazing. They treated her within a hour and she came out with meds so no need to go to another pharmacy.
Would totally recommend for people without insurance or if you have company from out of the country visiting and needs medical attention.

I finally met Doctor V, she listened carefully to my complains and suggested the most adequate treatment for me, she even got me a coupon for the meds I needed to get!

She is like the female equivalent of Doogie Houser, except not geeky and she is a real Doctor, not just playing one for TV.
Her clinic is clean and I will definitely consider it my to go Clinic in the future.

This clinic is awesome! So glad I found it on Unilocal when I was coming down with what I feared was a bout of strep.
It’s a beautiful, super clean and stylish office in a great location. The receptionist is lovely, and Dr. Veal is seriously incredible! She was super thorough with me and genuinely concerned about getting me feeling better. Of course I didn’t actually have strep, just another cold (someone needs a flu shot!) but I felt so much better after getting an ibuprofen shot, which she suggested.
I’m majorly bummed because I just moved across town and won’t be close enough to this clinic to go again, but I seriously recommend this place for anyone on the westside, particularly in the Culver/​Marina/​Venice area.
A word of warning, you may be thrown off by how beautiful Dr. Veal is, but she’s so warm you’ll soon forget your doctor is also a model. :)

Quite possibly the most amazing walk-​in clinic in the state. Haha. Not that I’ve been to all of them, but more than a handful at least and I’ve never had a better experience.
When I entered I wasn’t even sure it was a clinic, sure it had the basic aesthetics of a clinic, a receptionist, some chairs and magazines lining the walls, a water dispenser… But there was only two other people sitting inside and they seemed content and almost pleasant (in a clinic?).
I checked in with the lovely receptionist who greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile and sat down to fill out the super simple one page form then turned it in and sat down with a magazine… Before I could even start reading the first article though, I was called in to the nurses station. Another warm smile welcomed me in. (These women are angles right?)
In a painless few minutes I was taken to what was easily the most comfortable exam room I’ve ever encountered, both physically and visually, and told to wait for the physician. I washed my hands and sat down, prepared to wait… However, I don’t think my hands were even completely dry before the third angel walked in. (My apologies for not remembering the doctors name, I was distracted by her awesomeness). She checked out my complaints, diagnosed me with a sinus infection, made me laugh and offered me relief via the miracle of z-​pack. Done.
Within minutes and I had my miracle medicine in hand and was all but skipping back to my car like I’d just won the lottery.
I had been there less than 20 minutes and didn’t have to cross Lincoln Blvd. (that alone should be celebrated).
A week later, my sinus infection is gone and I am enjoying life on the west side once more. Highly recommend this little portal to heaven, especially if you dread crossing Lincoln at 3pm and your face hurts like you were in a Mike Tyson fight.

This is the best clinic I’ve ever been to.
PA Hannah is awesome, patient, and professional She listens to everything without rushing. Hot tea and Vitamins C at the waiting room… great receptionist, great nurses. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone

Really fast and clean and open on Sundays.
My only caveat was the doctor was nice but was speaking really fast and felt a bit like she wanted to get the visit over with which felt a bit overwhelming.

Amazing clinic!
My fiancée had asthma as a child, but hasn’t had an attack in almost ten years. When she got sick a week ago, she also had an asthma attack and didn’t recover from it. We went to an urgent care hospital at first, and they said that it would cost almost $ 200 just for a basic check up. She ended up feeling a little better after relaxing for a bit, and we went home without seeing anyone.
A few days later, she had another attack that did not go away. We Unilocaled a couple of places, but because it was Black Friday, almost nothing was open at the time. I called Westside Walk-​In around 3:40pm, and the woman told me that they see their last patient at 4:00. So we rushed over and were in the doors around 3:55! They had no problem seeing us, and it was a very painless procedure to have her checked in, even though we did not have health insurance. There was no question of insurance at all, other than on the form we filled out, which just had a box for ‘no insurance’.
She was given a quick temperature/​blood pressure check, while answering some questions, before being sat down in a room where we waited for the doctor. Dr. Lara was very friendly, and seemed genuinely interested and concerned about how my fiancée was feeling, and, after hearing the symptoms, she knew exactly what was wrong. Within minutes, we were using a nebulizer and having a prescription for steroids and an inhaler written for us.
Overall, the entire process took less than thirty minutes. Every single person we talked to was very nice, and Dr. Lara had some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen. We walked out the door after paying $ 94, a huge improvement from the first hospital we went to!
Thank you so much, Westside Walk-​In Clinic for seeing us as easily as you did. Without you, we probably would have had subpar care at twice the price!

Okay, HANDS DOWN the best Walk-​in Clinic experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share with my two little girls!
Not only was the facility clean, bright, and modern (the least of my worries but I definitely noticed right away), everyone we spoke to when we arrived was friendly and caring… you would think this to be the norm in health care but it’s unfortunately not, since most offices seem overrun and overwhelmed.
We needed to find a doc on a Sunday and came here because it was one of the few urgent care clinics that has Sunday hours (10am-​4pm). I came early expecting a line, but there wasn’t one at all, and they opened the doors right at 10am and welcomed us inside. Paperwork was brief, vitals took just a minute, and then we met Dr Hannah with no delay. She is such a breath of fresh air!
Hannah listened and chatted with me about my daughter’s issue, asked her some questions, looked some things up on the internet when I asked questions that she didn’t have the answers to, and we landed on a treatment that we both felt good about. I have only once in my life met a doc that had the integrity and openmindedness to research things with me during a visit, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this (that doc is still wonderful but so busy now that we can’t get an appt with him… i guess everyone loves this kind of care and attention!)
My little girl was embarrassed about the issue she was having, and worried about talking to a stranger about it. Hannah put her immediately at ease and my daughter relaxed and spoke freely with her… when we left 15min later, my daughter hugged her 3 times!
They called in our prescription, but after we left Hannah actually called the pharmacy to find out if the scrip is something they carry or could get. She had a hunch that it might be hard to find, and she was correct! She actually made it through a 20min hold to chat with the pharmacist, and then changed the prescription to something that they could get the next day for us. I called her office because we couldn’t find the OTC med that she recommended, and she got right on the phone and let me know about the change and also pointed me at the right pharmacy for the OTC… She really took care of us all day, it was such a treat.
Pricing was completely normal for urgent care — their office visit was $ 89 but they have a $ 15off deal here on Unilocal,plus they’re sending me the insurance forms so I can get reimbursed. And they offer a free followup if we need to see her again for the same issue (within a week), which is also something I haven’t found before — another way Hannah goes above and beyond!
Every previous Urgent care visit we’ve had has been long, frustrating, usually with vague answers, some kind of temporary treatment, and often directions to go see our regular doc that week (and as I mentioned, our doc is so popular he just isn’t avail for last minute problems anymore). I don’t mean to speak badly about these other clinics either — they’re trying their best, but they usually seem to be able to care about us for just the 2 – 3 minutes we’re in front of them, and then we’re on our own and usually still troubled.
Thank you Hannah (and your lovely team) for honestly caring about us today, for being so thorough and making sure we could get what we need, for knowing how to talk with my 7 year old, and for saving my Sunday (i fully expected to spend the whole day waiting around). As a mom, it’s so nice to know where to go when we need help, and after this I can’t imagine I’ll ever go anywhere else!
