Our office is conveniently and centrally located at 3017 W Washington Blvd. We are directly across from C&O Trattoria, minutes from the 90 freeway, and easily accessible by the #3 Santa Monica Big Blue Bus. We offer family, general, and cosmetic dental services with many new technologies available to provide you with the highest level of care. History

Established in 2013.

In October 2013, Dr. Lawrence Libuser officially retired and transitioned the dental practice to Dr. Michael S. Capio a general dentist and dental instructor at UCLA. Dental Solutions has been in the same location on Washington Blvd. since the early 90’s. Dr. Capio is continuing to treat existing patients in the practice and is also accepting new patients. All of our current and prospective patients will find that Dental Solutions is well equipped to offer the most modern dental treatments in a comfortable environment.

In 2005 Dr. Capio was accepted to his #1 choice, UCLA School of Dentistry. During his senior year he was one of ten students selected to treat patients in an accelerated program under the supervision of a renowned department chair. This unique opportunity multiplied his experience while learning many techniques and procedures in a smaller more advanced setting. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009 and successfully passed all necessary license exams in one shot. Most recently in June 2013 Dr. Capio earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry which involved passing a comprehensive examination and completion of 500 continuing education hours.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Capio works part-​time as a clinical instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Within the Division of Restorative Dentistry he ensures that some of the nation’s finest dental students deliver quality comprehensive care to the public.

Well if I knew I was going to catch up on my Netflix watching while getting my oral exam… I wouldn’t have binge-​watched the night before!
Dental Solutions has all the RIGHT solutions for not just your dental health, but for your TV watching obsession. While the doc probes and scraps away at your teeth, you get the opportunity to sit back, relax and zone out as you watch the latest episode of your favorite Netflix show… Just don’t watch documentaries about teeth, especially if you’re not a huge fan of getting dental work!
I am extremely impressed with this office, besides the Netflix option. It’s extremely clean, the dental assistants are very knowledgeable and nice and the doctor himself has a confidence that allows you to simply kick back without a fear.
While there are 80,000 + dentists in Los Angeles, I highly recommend coming here… Even if you live in Hollywood, like I do.
There is a small parking lot in back, don’t be confused about which door to head into back there though, unless you are in fact pregnant too!

Just got 3 of my silver fillings removed and Dr Capio was so patient and informative. As much as I dread seeing a dentist, this experience was was pleasant and nearly pain free. His staff are so nice too. Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to my next appointment in order to get my sparkly smile back. Thank you guys you are the best dental group!

This dentist office seems to be in it more for the money than serving the needs of responsible patients. On calling for an appointment to get a teeth cleaning I was instantly offered the special offer package for $ 195, which includes x-​rays and oral exam. As I don’t need x-​rays and oral exams at an extra cost I suggested I would decline that and only take the teeth cleaning. Also I explained I am a cash patient and not coming in as an insurance company patient.
I was then told «Their office is required by law to do an x-​ray with each patient». On research I found out there is no such law. Obviously the practice in the dentist office seems to be to intimidate patients to buy more service than needed to get a better amortization on their equipment. I frequently visit dentists in Germany with latest equipment and never ever have I been hustled to be x-ray’ed if all I needed was a teeth cleaning or check up.
It is my opinion that doctors should work by ethical standards to serve their patients and not constantly push business by instilling worries and fear onto patients.

I can not say enough about Dr Capio!
I have never had my teeth so thoroughly cleaned by any dentist in my life!!! He takes his time on every single tooth. Meanwhile you’re able to watch anything on Netflix while he works!
You never feel rushed in his office. My first appointment with him he spent so much time with me explaining and going over my X-​Rays in detail. After explaining the need to fill in a cavity he then asked me if there were any concerns or wants I had to achieve my goal in having great teeth. He offered ways I could achieve it through insurance and through his office, offering me a great deal! He explained both high end name brand products as well as generic brands that get the same results. I was highly impressed by his willingness to help me and keep cost low, if not all covered by insurance!
My husband is also a patient and is very pleased with Dr Capio.
He treats you like a close friend. He really appreciates his patients and you could tell by all the great reviews. In fact I received a letter at home with a Starbucks gift card for referring a friend. He even signed the letter himself!
His office takes pride in great dental care and great customer service!
Do not hesitate for one more second, go in and see Dr Capio! Best in the business!

I’m all about good oral hygiene so a great dentist is important to me. Dr. Capio’s office is legit with Netflix and Beats By Dre headphones so you can drown out those pesky dental tools.
I had my teeth cleaned and they feel super duper clean! The office staff is also very nice, which is really important.
Dr. Capio explained everything very clearly, was personable, and had good chair side manner.
I highly recommend him and his office!

Dr. Capio is very professional and caring. He is a fabulous dentist with a wonderful staff. I am a practicing orthodontist and have discussed several cases with Dr. Capio. He is very thorough and always wants the very best result for all of his patients. He teaches at UCLA so he’s up to date on all aspects of dentistry and is even an expert in Cerec crowns! He has great chair side manners and all his patients love him. I was referred to Dr. Capio by a friend. It may not look like much from the outside, but once I walked inside, I felt welcomed. There’s a lot of light and a cute outdoor patio area. Sit and avoid nature or soak in some sun while you breathe in that L.A. air as you wait. Indoors is usually the preference but hey, who doesn’t like options?
Since I’ve been, I’ve referred others. Whether I’m waiting for a friend or to be seen myself, I enjoy being there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They ask me if I need anything, from water to headphones! They have modern 40″ TVs in the rooms too! Way to stay up to date Doc! I hate offices where you’re stuck reading outdated magazines and listening to weird sounds chirping birds or what not. (Nobody really enjoys those FYI)
I’ve been here a few times now and I keep telling myself I’ll write a review, but you know how it goes. I get lazy or busy. Now that I can write my reviews via the Unilocal app, I wanted to give my two cents by supporting Dr. Capio. Informing fellow Unilocalers of my experiences here. He’s just as welcoming and as nice as the staff who work for him. So, if you are looking for a dentist in West LA, (or aren’t too far from West LA) come see him. He does quality work and is very professional! Don’t take my word for it, come find out for yourself!

Dr. Capio is the most thorough, knowledgeable, passionate, and professional dentist I’ve ever encountered. He was able to explain and answer all of my questions regarding my health. I was fascinated by both the cleanliness of the facility as well as the technology that was being incorporated. I haven’t been to a dentist in awhile because I always felt that I was just a patient with a dollar sign. Dr. Capio in no way made me feel pressured to get any procedures unlike my previous experiences with other dentists. I highly recommend Dr. Capio to all my family and friends because of both his patient care and knowledge.

As Dr. Mike’s brother, I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but after having seen him in action, first hand, I am compelled. Yes, I agree with all the reviewers, he is a great guy. I’ve know him his whole life, and of course, we are brothers. My wife and I live in NJ, but we went out to visit Dr. Mike and his family for an extended family trip. While out enjoying Disney Land, and all the spoils, I bit into a frozen Chipwhich Ice cream sandwich, and to my surprise, a temporary front tooth I’ve been nursing for 26yrs, ended up embedded in the ice cream sandwich! Yikes! When I showed Dr. Mike what had happened, being related paid dividends, as he offered to leave the park early and go directly to his office so he could «patch» up my gapped smile. The word to describe the rest of my time that night would be «professional». I really appreciated that he treated me like a normal patient. He explained the situation, showed me pics and xrays, and offered several solutions. He used more advanced techniques than my current Dentist back east, and I was never nervous. In the end, Dr. Mike installed a permanent crown, which was something all my previous Dentists had escaped to do. I was able to fly back on a Red Eye, and go into work with a tooth which was better and stronger than when I left. I now know the difference that extra mile he gives his patients is worth, and I told him we will be flying into LA periodically for our dental work. I think next time I’ll just skip the Chipwich.

Dr. Capio took over my dentist’s practice and I really liked my original dentist, so I was a little wary. I was very happy to find that I enjoy Dr. Capio very much. He was professional and knowledgeable in a cool laid back way. Lucky for him that he came into an office that was great already. The office space is modern and clean, there is parking in the back and the women who work there are the best. Patricia is very friendly and I really love Evelyn. Evelyn has gone out of her way to help me out. If you are looking for a great dentist and wonderful staff this is the place.

This review is for Dr. Mike Capio and his staff.
Pros: The office is clean, modern, and parking is easy to find in the back. The staff are professional, courteous, and appointments are easy to make.
Dr. Capio is a UCLA graduate, has excellent bedside manner, and practices to perfection. He is never satisfied unless his patients have received utmost care. He explains every part of each procedure, and best of all, delivers pain free anesthetic injections. What more could a patient ask for?
Cons: it’s a shame that most dentists don’t practice to this high a standard.

Do you ever walk into a medical office and just «know» that you are in good hands? This is how I felt as a new patient of Dr. Capio at Dental Solutions. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. He was gentle on my sensitive teeth and let me hold the suction during the cleaning so I never had that helpless sort of feeling. There are a few small things that need done on my teeth and he was very thorough in explaining why he was concerned without ever making me feel like I was being pressured into anything. He and his staff are straight forward and kind and I would definitely recommend them! (and parking was easy!!:)
