Nice but quoted me $ 350 for tint and $ 699 to install 2 tv headrests which was pricier than others in town and with the so many mixed reviews on Unilocal I went to someone else I many give these guys a shot in the future

Took my charger for a tint, a few days later I noticed some indenting on one of the windows. I took it back and they replaced the tint at no charge. I’m very satisfied now with the tint. They know what customer satisfaction means!

Excellent customer service and professionalism. They helped me with issues with Sirius XM even though it was close to closing, and exhausted every option to make sure it was fixed.

I brought my week old 2014 Toyota Corolla into Prodigy Car Audio for a full window tint and an entire day later I received my car back. The exterior paint of the trunk, drivers and passenger doors and door panels were scratched with six inch scratches on all areas! I brought it to their attention and he acted like he couldn’t see it and had no idea it happened.
The owner was not there and did not want to look at it.
The clerk said I ran it through a bush on my way over to the shop. Then his mechanic got out the wax and a cloth to rub it out. I said don’t touch my car as you have already f-​ed it up. It’s a week old car!!!
I inspected the interior and it had scratches inside the car on the dash as well. How you needed to touch the dash, I have no idea.
I demanded my money back. They stood by that it was not their fault – including the owner over the phone.
They said they had a camera on the car the whole time to prove it. That was a lie. There is no camera on their cars while being worked on. I contacted both our insurances and had an estimate done.
It was over $ 2,000 worth of damage. I got my money back from the tint job (which was bubbling at this point – another week later and another tint place said it was a «shit job») my car was taken to a shop for repairs.
This is the biggest amazement I have seen on how to run a business. I would NEVER trust this place with my vehicle. About 10 years ago the owner was honest and ran a good business. I have had several vehicles worked on here in the past.

My friend got his tinting done here and they did amazing! he did recommend them, because their costumer service was great too. I didn’t like the reviews in my town, so I drove 25 minutes to Manteca to get my rear window’s old tint taken off and new tint put on. Definitely worth it. I was given an amazing deal and a lot of information on how to take care of my new tint. I recommend Manuel. He’s awesome! I will be back. Thanks so much for making my car happy again guys!!!

These guys are great. The straight up and honest. They really know how to treat their customers I love this place.

My husband had Prodigy install a new deck that he got for Christmas in his vehicle. The install was $ 120, which included the price for a harness and dash adapter needed to fit the new stereo.
The sound is fine, but they installed his new deck crooked in the dash. One side is ¼ — ½ inch higher than the other which is VERY noticeable. They told him, when we came to pick it up, that their crooked plastic adapter «comes like this from the manufacturer.» I was really disappointed in their lack of pride in workmanship, that they didn’t mention this fact up front, and that they’re knowingly using cheap, defective parts.
This is not a business we’ll go back to and I definitely don’t recommend you come here if you need a stereo install that requires a dash adapter.

I took my Audi q7. These dudes didn’t know what they was doing. My beat goes of all the time. I took it back and all they did was lower the Level down cause they did not have no idea what was wrong. Also the guy in the front with the glasses has the worst costumer service. If they keep acting like they dont mind loosing clients preety soon they will go out of biss. Stay away from here

If anytime you need audio service or knowledge, this is the place to go! I new nothing and told them what another place had quoted me on and if they can beat the price. That it was a huge surprise for my husbands birthday. The manager or owner told me he would sale me the same bundle but a way better brand. He told me a little info on the comparison of the two. I was actually surprise he took the time to do this for me especially being around the holiday. He was even nice enough to give me their black friday discount! I had brought them his car and told them i needed it at a certain time so his brother can roll up in it without him knowing. They were able to give me a time and stuck to it! If i need anything i will always go back here! They even have a warranty, and the best part about the warranty is they dont fix it they replace it !!

I had bought a sub with an amp and wiring from my cousin and needed to get it installed on my ’08 Civic. It also needed a converter because it has a stock stereo. So I spoke to Frank who picked the phone and quoted me. I told him I was on a tight budget and he agreed to help me by lowering the price. So I went it and got it done. It took a little while. I’d recommend taking someone along or going around to spend time faster. So the sub’s worked great, I was very satisfied. Only problem was that my sub’s would hum extremely loud when I turned my car on. I contacted the shop and they fixed that too (the boost was turned too high). So all on all, this place is pretty great. Frank, the guy who I mainly spoke to, was polite, the service was clean and they gladly helped me when I had a problem. Definitely would go back!

This place is extremely over priced and they quote you different prices based on who you talk to.
I needed my deck put into my car along with the Nav and Sirius hooked up. The only pieces I was missing was the Harness and Mounting bracket. They quoted me 350 the day before to do the install based on me needing a harness that was 160. The next day I brought my car in and the guy said 350 plus 30 for the mounting braket so I just took it and ran with it. Later on that day they called me and said they made a mistake and I didnt need the 160 harness, so I figured that was 160 off the bill. When I came in when it was finished they said the Price was actually 120 cheaper that they mis quoted me on the harness. I got in a big argument where one of the employees called me a liar and just gave me hella attitude when I questioned them on what I was being charged for. Its not good business to change prices based on who is working that day. They are way over priced and I felt like I made a HUGE mistake in even dealing with them. I paid my fee and I would not recomend them to do your install or window tint.

I must say this review in my earned 5 stars for two reasons only, Frank the worker & the overall price & quality of the window tint job. I called in around 9 am was quoted a fair price. They did take longer then effected but the job came out clean and professional. They do use a good film that comes with a lifetime warranty.
You get what you pay for. They use a Lazor cutter for their tint as we’ll. If they can improve anywhere I would say guys try to stay focused and get the customers job completed as fast as possible. I will still recommend this place and would return. For places in Manteca this is the best I have encountered thus far .

Took the advice of fellow Unilocalers and came out to Prodigy to get my radio hooked up in my truck. I had taken all of my speakers, amps, dry cell battery the whole nine out of my truck the day before but because the dry cell battery was keeping the power to the radio when I unhooked it I need the wire in the back of the radio rewired to pull from the car battery. Also needed the speakers rewired so they would pull of the radio and not the RCA cables that were leading from the amps. Not really a difficult job but I didn’t feel like messing around with it so i thought I let the shop handle everything for me.
I’m giving three stars because I was quoted at $ 45 to do this job. I mean all it was was reconnecting wires. Everything was there all the tech had to do was rewire. I was told because I had a double den radio that it would be extra… not really sure why but ok I ran with it. When everything was all said and done I was charged $ 100 flat. Come on guys, literally you pulled my radio out and rewired the harness that’s it. The hardest thing you had to do was remove screws.
I felt I was overcharged and after sitting for almost 3hrs waiting on this to get done (as there was a car in front of me and only one tech working) I would have rather went to Best Buy and had them do the work for me.
I may give Prodigy another shot in the future but I think I will shop around before going back.

WOW! These guys are amazing. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like an old friend. I had remote start added to my 2012 Ford Fusion. The dealer was going to charge me the same amount and I would have had a separate Fob. Prodigy programmed my factory key to do the job. I am very happy with the results. They made sure I understood how everything worked and showed me all that they did before I left. I will be back for future add ons to my vehicle.

I was very happy with my experience, the staff was helpful, friendly and took time with each client. The staff was honest about the price and the wait time. I was happy to support local business.

After having such excellent service on my rear window decal I had to come back and have the 5 windows of my new F250 tinted by the same professionals. The guys explained the differances in tint and let me choose what I wanted. Outstanding exceptional work everything fit perfect looks awesome I don’t think I can say enough about how great a job they do. While waiting I watched Frank help some customers who came in with audio problems. It was very nice to see someone do his best to help solve problems without trying to upsale everyone. Everyone there is all about helping you out. But when it comes to killer setups for your audio needs I got to see some outstanding custom work they were doing. Not just for your car but boats as well. I am very happy with everything I have had done.

Came here in January 2013 to get my back 3 windows tinted. Frank helped me out, gave me a quote on the phone and gave same price when I got there.
Was knowledgeable about the tint itself and recommended to do the front 2 windows in a light tint for the UV rays. Who knows how much it helps but it wasn’t a lot extra so I agreed.
Took a few hours, I left and ran errands, they called me back and Frank went over all the cleaning instructions and warranty.
It’s been 4 months since I got it done and it looks AMAZING. No bubbles, very clean, makes my car look great, protects my 8 month old from the sun and keeps the car so much cooler!
Very happy with the service, laser-​cut tint, good price for someone you can trust and worth the small investment.

Had very little on display on head units, employes kid running around climbing on items in store, was looking at alarm and stereo installed, this place was 300+ over ever where else I went to. Almost $ 600 more in total for all I wanted done.

I called Frank because my Toyota Camry power antenna and stereo stopped working (my son installed a stereo a couple of years ago and my daughter is now using the car. i went to the junk yard and bought a replacement antenna that would not work) I asked Frank if he would try and trouble shoot my problem. He gave me a price for trouble shooting. The stereo in the dash was not flush so I asked him if we bought a new deck how much to trouble shoot, he replied no extra charge. They Fixed the problem repairing the power antenna and made the stereo look like it was factory installed unit. We were very happy.
