We ordered this today through DoorDash. Pretty fantastic. I highly recommend the Santa Fe Chicken Panini. Just enough kick to earn the title of Santa Fe, but also delicious. The home made chips were good to.

The Santa Fe panini is bomb! Homemade chips are crisp and flavored to perfection. The ice cappuccino is sweet and delicious and their smoothie is great!

My previous trips to Tacone have consisted of just stopping by for a quick snack of churros and it was only recently that I got to try their wraps! I was at the nearby Apple store and was waiting for my appointment at the Genius Bar when I decided to just grab lunch here at Tacone. I got their Malibu Melt and was instantly impressed when I saw how much chicken they were putting inside the wrap! The wrap was packed with chicken, avocados and veggies! Yum! They cut the wrap in half and it was a good thing because I got three meals out of it(I ate half at lunch and was super full and ended up saving the other half which turned into two meals for the next day). The Malibu Melt was not only packed with ingredients but packed with flavor! The chicken had good flavor that was enhanced by the ranch dressing and big chunks of avocado. It’s good to have this place right by the Apple Store where sometimes waits can be long. Next time I have an appointment at the Apple Store and will be waiting, I know I won’t be hungry because Tacone is next door. :)

Hello, i just left the Tacone in Manhattan Village Manhattan Beach, CA. I ordered nachos with chicken and a Santa Fe Combo. Once I returned back to work, I noticed my nachos did not have the chicken I paid for, so I called the number on the receipt to complain, and the person on the other end of the phone says to me «Well what do you want me to do?» I asked what could be done, and he said that I could come back and pick up a side of chicken, I told him that was impossible because I was on my lunch break at the time I was there. He asks me again what did I want him to do, so I asked to speak to a manager, he asked me was I sure because they were busy. He then proceeds to put me on hold for 3 minutes, pick the phone up and hang it up. So I got in my car to go back up there anyway and I call again before I arrive and he hung in my face again. The customer service there is horrible and the employees are rude. They first accused me of not paying for the chicken in the first place and was adamant that I didn’t even though it clearly says it on the receipt. They asked me to tone it down because there were«Customers» in there. I WAS a customer as well. I never received an apology for the mix-up or anything, they did refund me my money after they had a conversation in Spanish that I know I was the topic of.

First(and last) time I’ll ever eat here. Had to grab a quick bite to go and get back to work. I ordered the grilled Napa chicken with two side dishes. The Thai cucumber salad is good, which is why they get two stars instead of one. The chicken is bone dry, however. Coincidentally, so is my side salad, because the cashier/order-taker never bothered to a) tell me the salad doesn’t come with dressing on it or b) offer me a choice of dressing. Note to Cashier Boy: you might be able to get away with a crap attitude someplace where the food is world-class, but at the end of the day, keep in mind that even mediocre concession strands like Tacone might redeem themselves with the most basic attempt at customer service and a genuine effort to abide by the fundamentals of food preparation. You failed on both counts.

So I went to Ralph’s to grab me a salad however their deli is closed for construction so on to Unilocal I go to find the closet salad place around and Tacone showed up. so I thought to myself why not! Let’s give it a try. I had the tj salad minus the blue cheese and it was good. not great but good 8 bucks for a salad I was like wow but I can understand the price considering they are in the mall

***My recent experience at this Tacone still did not measure up to my first experience at Century City’s Tacone many years ago(2000), but it was noticeably better than my last experience at this Manhattan Beach Village location*** Tacone is an order-at-the-counter wrap place. I do not think Tacone has many locations though Tacone’s menu immediately shows why you will find it in California. While Tacone has a chain feel, it also has a menu that integrates lots of global ingredients from Southern and Mexican to Asian and Greek. I had their Malibu Melt, which was chicken breast with romaine, tomatoes, melted Swiss, avocado, and honey mustard. You have the option of either grilled or bread chicken and I went for the breaded chicken. The wrap was satisfying. All of the ingredients were good. The Swiss was melted enough. The romaine and tomatoes were fresh while the avocado was creamy and the honey mustard had a nice kick to it. The breaded chicken was good. It was tender and not dry and the breading provided a satisfying crunch. The side of potato chips was okay at best. The chips were a tad salty and lacked a really great crunch; the chips did not taste that fresh. The chips were a big drop from the light and crispy tortilla chips with very fresh pico de gallo that Tacone used to provide with its wraps. Tacone does offer you the option to upgrade from potato chips to fries and other sides. Prices are not too bad. Tacone is more expensive than most fast food restaurants, but prices are similar to other food court eateries. Service was quick. Tacone sits on an island in the middle of the Manhattan Village Mall, which is a nice area to dine. While I have not been to Tacone in the Century City Mall’s food court in a long time, which was revamped several years ago, I think this Tacone is probably a notch below that location in terms of quality and freshness. Still, this Tacone is a decent food court option for a quick and satisfying enough lunch or dinner. The Manhattan Village Mall offers complimentary self parking. It is typically easy finding an open space, but parking can be very hard to find during peak shopping times like the holidays.

Flavor is their mantra, and flavor is definitely what you’ll get! Located inside of the Manhattan Beach Mall, this is the only place to get food without actually having to leave the mall! They offer wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas, and salads(which can also be turned into wraps!). Food: — Caesar salad wrap — Romaine lettuce, tomato, garlic tortilla strips, and Caesar dressing. The lettuce they use is always fresh and crisp. Dressing is rich and creamy, though it is not always distributed evenly within the wrap. Comes with seasoned potato chips. These are so good! — 4 cheese quesadilla — Smoked gouda, jack, cheddar, and Mexican cotija cheeses. They also put their house salsa inside the quesadilla. I LOVE their chopped tomato salsa! It does have a kick to it from the jalapenos, but I try to just ignore the pain since it is just so good! Quesadilla comes with tortilla chips. — Sweet potato fries — Slightly crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. These are sweet and delicious! They used to serve them with an amazing orange marmalade, but unfortunately, they no longer have this. — Drinks — soda fountain drinks are allowed one free refill Overall, I will continue to frequent Tacone for a tasty and healthy(for the most part) lunch… especially when I really just have a hankering for that quesadilla!

If you want to get a quick meal on your lunch break, be warned! It takes like 15+ minutes to place your order and wait for it to come out during the lunch rush. I came here during my one hour lunch break from work near LAX. There isnt really much to choose from if you want lunch at this mall. In hindsight, I should have placed my order first and then browsed around Sephora until it came out to save time, because Sephora is literally next door to the Tacone stand. I ordered the Santa Fe sandwich because I gave the cashier three choices to choose and he said the Santa Fe was the favorite out of those three. He was pretty helpful and got the line moving fast. There is ample seating in front of the stand and salsa bar to the right of it. After waiting at least 10 minutes for my order, I was dismayed because I thought the sandwich would be at least a little bit bigger. My order came with chips, brown soggy oily chips, that is. But I was so hungry that I wolfed the entire thing down. At first bite, I got a giant chunk of avocado and it was extremely satisfying. But after that, I noticed that there wasn’t much avocado left in the sandwich at all! I would give my order a 8⁄10 but that score might be a little bit bumped up because of how extremely hungry I was at the time. When I get hungry, almost anything tastes good. If I were to shop here again, I probably would come to Tacone again and order the same thing.

I got dismissed from jury duty at the nearby courthouse and decided to come here for lunch after browsing around the shops at Manhattan Village. My favorites have always been the Campfire wrap with BBQ chicken, crispy fried onions, corn, and coleslaw and the Kickin’ Chicken wrap with breaded chicken, tomato, romaine lettuce and BBQ ranch dressing. The wraps come with homemade potato chips. They have some very creative wrap combinations along with grilled sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, soups, etc.

YUMMMMMMMM! I think I’ve found my new weekly lunch spot. First time here. Its in the middle of the mall, parking was easy, and boy was is YUMMY! I came here very randomly because of a Unilocal review that I read and I am so happy that I did. I ordered the Perfect 10 wrap with Chicken and an order of fries!!! Soooo delish & its a HUGE wrap — ate half for lunch and will finish off the other half for dinner. My wrap AND the fries were sooo yummy with their ranch dressing(and they dont charge extra for extra sauces — there’s a self-serve sauce bar right at the counter) –LOVETHAT! I called in my order & it was hot and ready as soon as I arrived. And the guys were super friendly and fast! So happy about my new little discovery.*thumbs UP Tacone*

So I’ve only tried this place once and I usually don’t care for wraps but I ordered one in an attempt to eat healthy. I got the buffalo kickin’ chicken wrap and decided to make it a meal, so with it came friench fries and a drink. First of all, being the French fry and ranch connoisseur that I am, let me just say that I am STILL craving those fries! They were the perfect kind of skinny, the season sprinkled on top made my mouth water and the ranch dipping sauce was very good! It wasn’t too thick or too thin. :) Although I’d like to think that I was eating healthy, I wasn’t. The buffalo chicken inside the wrap was fried and french fries are never healthy choice. In any case, everything was fresh and I was satisfied so I will definitely be back. They also have salads and quesadillas, which i cannot wait to try. Even though my food was great, they were out of bottled water(sucked because I do not drink soda) and the staff wasn’t as professional as I would have liked them to be but, no biggie.

Tacone must have up’d its game from some of the negative reviews Ive read, cause I had a pretty decent experience last week. I had this chicken sandwich that was pretty loaded(curse my feeble memory I cant remember its name!) with all sorts veggies, dressing and good side of warm potato chips. Sure its a little pricy for what it is, but on this day the service and quality more than justified the cost. So while you’re deciding to buy your lady something from Sephora, Godiva Chocolates… or get yourself something cool at the Apple store, go grab a bite at Tacone while you man up to that final decision. ;-)

Dude, I love this place. Although the prices are bit high, I like to believe I’m paying for a good quality wrap so that I can enjoy eating my meal w/o feeling like I’m breaking the bank. My 2 faves: Malibu Wrap and Pilgrim Wrap. With the Malibu wrap, I like to substitute the hot mustard for Caesar dressing. At this spot, they don’t charge me extra for subbing the sauces. ½ of the Pilgrim wrap is only about 300 calories, so it makes a great lunch time meal… then you have the other half for dinner! Ta-da… I just turned my $ 8 lunch into two $ 4 meals. How about that! Ohh… and those season chips… those friggin chips… they’re really good… they’re like thick lays potato chips… but better tasting and doesn’t leave the roof of your mouth feeling like you just munched on razor blades. Anyway, great lunch spot… and it’s so convenient that its at the mall. I can shop on my lunch break, pick up a wrap on my way out and eat at my desk while I get back to the grind.

3 words. Kickin Fried Chicken! That’s usually what I order here. It’s pretty good too. Tacone is located inside of the Manhattan Mall. right in the middle. in front of Sephora. There’s usually lots of seating right in front of it. It’s not really a restaurant… it’s more of a huge food stand. Kind of like the ones you see in the food courts. I usually get the kickin fried chicken with chips. It’s pretty big. I like how there is a little sauce stand, with all types of sauce you can get for your meal. I just usually get the ranch though. My only complaint is the price. It’s around $ 8 for the meal. $ 6 would be a better price for what you get.

Not to bad for a quick bite from a little food stand in a mall. Portions were plenty and price was right.
