This is my first time into this location. We were pleasantly greeted by the worker as he was helping another customer. The worker offered and recommended similar shoes to try on from the original as this was not available. I was also offered a foot pressure analysis. I declined but very cool. It suddenly got really busy and I was amazed how this little store accommodated everyone and how easy going the staff were as it got busier. He made sure to acknowledge everyone as they were looking through the displays, trying shoes on and making purchase. I was very impressed and will return again.

I’ve purchased all my shoes at The Walking Company for the last year. They have styles for every season and legitimate orthopedic shoes and sneakers. I just got the orthopedic sneakers recommended by my podiatrist which will help alleviate some of my nerve related pain. This store has a few good brands but the Dansko sneakers were the best option for me. The only draw back is not having as much inventory as I’d like. I like to try 10 different shoes before I buy a pair; a girl needs options! :) The small 5 – 5 ½ size has to be ordered from their computer system in-store. It’s easy enough to do but I guess that’s what I get for having small feet! Customer service is always top-notch at this store. I’ll be a customer for life.

Just got a great deal, for two pair of shows and insoles, very comfortable already feel better, my heels would kill my back with flat shows, or once the show was pretty stretched out, but with there insoles and there shoes my back feels so much better, and the staff was great.

I like visiting this Walking Company because it’s not as crowded or busy as other ones I’ve been to. One, it’s at the Manhattan Village Mall which is a tiny mall already so there aren’t too many people coming to this mall. The only people who come here are moms with their babies… and their fancy strollers. I like the Walking Company because of their orthotic insoles which I use for running. The insoles are pricey at around $ 60 but I feel it is totally worth it. In addition to that, they also give military discounts~ ! Win! If you shop online, they offer free shipping and free returns.

3 Stars Great service. The lady that I spoke to understood that they didn’t carry the right shoe for me, and instead of trying to sell me something they had just to make the sale, she made some recommendations on where I should look. This is a no pressure store, you can go in and look around all you want without getting the feeling like you’re being pitched or sold something.

I visited The Walking Company to stock up on reasonably stylish, *extremely comfortable* shoes for a few trips I was making a little over a year ago. Price wasn’t as much a concern as getting the right shoes – I was going to Europe, and I knew I’d be walking MUCH more than I have to here in LA. They spent nearly an hour with me, assessing my feet(sounds weird, I know) and how I walked, and making some recommendations for shoes that would work perfectly for my needs(incl. discussing how the shoes I bought would coordinate with my wardrobe – !). I tried on maybe a dozen pairs of shoes – and that’s a lot for a guy. Bought three pairs, and I love ‘em all. Maybe they did *too good* a job… I haven’t needed to go back. But I will(need to). And I will(go). Superior service, product range and attention to detail. Can’t imagine a nicer or more effective shopping experience. Highly recommended.
