Dr. Cho and Dr. Ortega are very professional, but also friendly and fun. They put you at ease knowing dental appointments can be stressful. They are gentle and their finished work is excellent. I meet Dr. Cho at my previous dentist in Santa Cruz as he (Dr. Kuratomi) was leaving his practice. It was the best thing that could have happen. We moved to San Jose and Dr. Cho was close enough drive for me and he accepted me as a patient. Thank You Dr. Cho and Dr. Ortega, your the best.

Over a year later and a few visits later I still feel the same! Everyone in the office is so nice and personable! I got my cleaning done and no cavities this time!!! LOL! I’m still very pleased with this Dental Office! I really enjoy coming here! I highly recommend them for kids and adults.

We had a great experience here and not only did they take us last minute as a new client due to a chipped tooth accident, they made my daughter feel safe and well taken care of. I am so use to dentists doing procedures that aren’t necessary to get the bill as high as possible, but this dentist was SO HONEST and I didn’t feel scammed when I left. Wish all dentists were like him! I would recommend this facility to everyone!!!

I have been coming to this dentist office for several years. You cannot get better dentists or service anywhere. I have had two emergencies which they accommodated right away. If you are looking for a dentist this is the office. Go no further!

A few years ago I limped into White Oaks Dental with a mouth fresh from hell. I felt like I was lost in Alviso, but a short 6 – 8 months later I felt like I awoke in Monte Sereno. I had 6 implants put in, and the meticulous and unparalleled care I received was second to none. Not only are Dr. Hafid and Dr. Cho first class dentists, they are even better people. If you can’t feel comfortable and in safe hands at White Oaks Dental, then maybe you should wait til your child grows up and becomes your dentist. It’s as simple as that. Keep up the great work.

I’ve seen Dr Ortega twice– once for a cleaning and once for fillings. He and his staff are exceptionally friendly, empathetic, and deliver quality results. It’s refreshing to have a dentist to trust and do good work. I highly recommend this practice.

It has been a long and rocky road in an attempt to find a «forever» dentist who is caring, ethical, and excellent in all facets of dental care. I am very happy to report that after years of searching, I have finally come across not only a dentist, but an entire staff who meets these criteria. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ortega and his team. They see patients of all ages, are super friendly, and don’t try to push unnecessary procedures on patients.
I had given up hope, been broken down by horrible dentists and shady so-​called necessary procedures. I can’t even count how many dentists in the San Jose/​Los Gatos area I went through the past few years in search of someone who I could feel comfortable with and trust to take care of my husband and myself. From the very first phone call, I was impressed. I had called to book appointments for a basic cleaning/​consult. I ended up calling the next day because I was concerned over tooth pain coming from a root canal that needed a crown. They said I could come in that day. They were so patient with me as I tried to coordinate my work schedule to carve out some time.
–First plus, customer service. Entire staff gets 5 stars.
–Second plus was the electronic, easy to use system when establishing care. No silly paperwork — super user-​friendly.
–Third plus, no long waits. I came in during my 45 minute lunch break and was registered, had a consult, made a follow-​up appointment, treatment plan, and financial estimate and was back to work on time. Seriously?!?
–Fourth plus, Dr. Ortega. His demeanor is cheerful, straight forward, optimistic, and genuine. He has this overall presence that immediately calms you. He did my crown all in one visit and I had zero pain. Yes, zero pain throughout the procedure. It’s rare to get this level of service, it doesn’t even feel real. Best. Dentist. Ever.
–Fifth plus, Veronica. Behind every provider there is someone at the front lines keeping it all together. Veronica is amazing. Friendly, efficient, quick, accommodating, and overall has excellent patient skills. Between making appointments, coordinating treatments, giving financial estimates, she is the best.
White Oaks Dental has completely renewed my faith in dentistry and I highly recommend them to everyone! 10 gold stars.

We love going to this place. Dr. Cho and Dr. Ortega makes you feel very comfortable. All the staff are friendly. Place is clean, I would recommend this place.

Dr. Cho and Dr. Ortega are the best in the business. They are very accommodating with scheduling and most of all they make you feel comfortable throughout the dental procedure.
I went in for a crown replacement and I was told that we would finish the entire process in one session. I thought I misunderstood, but they have this cool machine that uses 3D imaging and mills your porcelain crown while you wait. This was awesome because in the past with other doctors I’ve had to make 2 – 3 appointments in order to finish the crown process. We’re all busy people and sometimes it hard to get away from work or other obligations.
Overall, it was a great experience and they offer everything from General Dentistry to Cosmetic Dentistry. Planning on getting teeth whitening done as well.
I definitely recommend White Oaks Dental for anyone that is looking for a new dentist.

The entire office displayed the highest levels of competency and professionalism throughout the entire experience: from our first call, through the on-​boarding process as a patient, to the steps of care around cleaning, exams, diagnosis, treatment and follow-​up.
I really appreciated how each diagnosis was approached with all possible courses of treatment to allow us options that considered all the particulars around time, money, cost, lifestyle, age and durability.
Beyond the intrinsic factors of service around competency and professionalism, the entire office understands the even more important extrinsic elements such as courtesy, warmth, humor, caring and genuinely making and investment in you as an individual.
So glad to have found a entire office full of practitioners that I can trust to provide such solid and caring service to all members of my family.

I haven’t been to a dentist in years due to not having insurance. I had my first appointment with Dr Cho yesterday. He was very professional and made me feel relaxed. Reasonable prices too! I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist!

I took my uncle Naeem to have his wisdom tooth extracted. What a great job Dr. Ortega did! My uncle was surprised at how much easier it was than he thought. Dr Ortega was also courteous and polite, making it a very pleasant experience. Both me and my uncle were very happy with the experience.

Personnel is friendly, office is clean, they’ve asked me to fill some forms on the Surface tablet to create initial profile (no paperwork at all). I’ve described my problem (bleeding gums) to the doctor (Hafid Ortega) and even before looking into my mouth they’ve done X-​rays with my consent in order to get the whole picture. The assistant was very careful and initial inspection revealed that apart from gum issues I need to have some fillings done. My insurance covers 90%, so before starting the treatment I wanted to be sure that I won’t exceed my limits. Soon after my visit I had email with my treatment plan, going to proceed with it and update review according to how it goes. Overall impression is very good, I feel like I’m in right hands:)

Now I can definitely say that dentists here know their craft very well. My gums finally stopped bleeding and I can’t be much happier!

The best dental visit I have had in years. Dr. Cho took time to explain what was going on and was an all around pleasant person to listen to. I am so happy to have found a place that feels like the dentist actually cares about me as a person and not as just another patient to get money from.

The BEST place you can find in the whole bay area! Remember those old days when your dentist treated you poorly and you never want to go back? Forget about it! White Oaks Dental is a wonderland where you can enjoy fixing and cleaning your teeth. Get any questions? Feel free to ask Dr. Cho, Dr. Ortega, and Anna. I used to go to a super famous dentist and it was a nightmare. I am really glad after three years I finally find my perfect dentist. Amazing!

After suffering for two days with a sore tooth, I called White Oaks Dental. Although it was before opening, Dr Cho answered, on the off chance it was an emergency. He got me in right away and xrayed the tooth. Luckily, nothing showed up, so we’re waiting to see if it gets better on its own. Dr Cho is very personable, as is the whole staff. I highly recommend them. I’ve used them for years.

Ok so we’re do I start… I never review businesses (as u can clearly see) BUT Dr cho deserved my review. I despise going to the dentist … I literally take Xanax in past dental office visits. I did not need to do that coming into dr chos office. He is so warm and welcoming and so gentle. I found this office during a Unilocal search and the stars don’t lie. It’s a relief to find a good dentist that you trust. Dr. Ortega is friendly, professional, efficient and communicates well. As a healthcare professional, that last trait is a huge plus and one that is deficient in other dental practices that I’ve been to. The cleaning was great and the exam and filling were painless.
The office is new and modern, the staff at the front was friendly and attentive and I just get a good vibe from Dr. Ortega; he seems very well trained and totally up front and honest.
If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Ortega.

I am glad to find Dr. Ortega as my dentist. I had to find a dentist quick because my old dentist felt like not showing up to my appointment and when I rescheduled with him he told me that everything was fine even though I had excruciating pain on one side mouth.
Dr. Ortega is very dedicated and took 15 – 20 minutes and actually did a physical exam and found out that I had cavity and I needed a revision of my root canal. After all that headache I am pain free and happy to have found a great doctor who cares about his patients first and not his pockets.
