This new boutique is owned by Susanne Lee and family, who has spent her whole life in the fashion industry. Susanne wanted to be a part of the revitalization of Bixby Knolls, so with a lot of thought she knew the perfect spot was the trendiest street in Long Beach, Atlantic Avenue. It only made sense to rename the boutique to Trance on Atlantic!

This is a small boutique shop with amazing items for purchase. The delicate style and unique items makes this a total gem! I drive by here all of the time on my way to work and finally was able to stop in. I am so happy that I did! If you’re looking for an amazing shopping experience that is basically like having a one on one stylist and also having a unique outfit this is the place! I will definitely be stoping here again!

Let’s talk about Trance. This is more than just a boutique! Clean, cute, and stylish. Susanne is super sweet and really cares about her clients! She has great style and some very cute pieces. Trance on Atlantic is a must go for anyone in the Bixby Knolls area and for those who aren’t it’s definitely worth the drive!!! If you love the personal relationship that comes with boutique shopping you will love everything about Trance on Atlantic!!!

I love shopping at Trance and I’ve begun thinking of Susanne as my personal stylist. I enjoy shopping for clothes but I’m terrible at putting an outfit together. Susanne does the hard part for me! The selection is on trend and different than at any other clothing store I know of. The bonus is being able to walk there from my house in Bixby Knolls.

I first came here on first Fridays and the place was packed, I was looking for a necklace for my then girlfriend (fiancé now) and Susanne helped me find one that was perfect! I will definitely be coming back for more goodies for my girl! Thank you Trance! Love the location and the staff!

I came here during First Fridays and found a great pair if hammered silver hoop earrings. I love them and wear them a lot! Their clothes are cute too. I didn’t try anything on, everything looked small. However, the owner said they carry all sizes.

Suzanne help me GET MY GROOVE BACK!
I’m in my 40’s and don’t want to dress like Grandma or my daughter! It’s almost impossible to have style at this age/​body disaster. Then I found TRANCE!
Now I have a hip look that works! I have a style and look great all the time. Nothing over $ 100 — I rock their $ 36 breathable tanks all day long.
Everything in the store is LOCALLY MADE right style for a GROWN WOMAN! Designer brands including Eva Varro — David Cline — T Party and many others at unbelievably low prices! Check out the Nordstrom website — you won’t believe how great the Trance prices are.

Received a gift of jewellery that was way over priced, tried to return and they would not budge on a refund only store credit. Very disappointed in there unwillingness to make an exception, I don’t want anything else, just a refund. Poorest experience I have had in our neighbourhood, it makes me really sad.

Always find something i love here. Great belts and jewels. I have a few bohemian flowy tops and dresses i found here, and priced so well. And if you need suggestions suzanne will read you like an open book and suggest something fabuloux you didnt even see that suits your style perfectly. Dont know how she does that excatly but its awesome! Xoxoxoxoxo trance!

My husband and I went to Trance for the First Fridays celebration on Atlantic and had an amazing experience. Owners Susanne and Bruce Lee were so friendly and welcoming and the store had unique and beautiful clothing and jewelry, including the best selection of Eva Varro (one of my favorite designers) I have found outside of one of her stores. Head saleswoman Gina has a fabulous eye, pulling pieces I might not have ever tried that I ended up loving. I have been heavily complimented on both the dresses and jeans I bought from Trance. It is a great store and I’m so glad I discovered it!

Amazing boutique in Bixby Knolls! Clothes are fantastic (fun, on-​trend, casual)! The prices are really reasonable too, which is nice. They also have some great jewelry pieces, a few handbags and cute shoes. You can find an entire outfit or just a new piece to add to your existing wardrobe. The owner, Suzanne, is great — so friendly and helpful, but not pushy! It is a treat to shop here!
