History

Established in 2003.

When the opportunity came to open a store, we knew I wanted Conversations Pieces to be like an old fashion grocer’s store; the kind where you went as a little girl with your Mom, and the Grocer takes his time to get to know you and genuinely assist Mom to find the items she really needs. No pressure, or hard sell… just taking the time to assist her from the bottom of his heart. Then, of course, the baby always gets a lollipop!

We take time to find clothes that are easy to wear, great to travel with, and are your go-​to pieces over and over again. They must last a few seasons, wear well, feel good and are affordable, low maintenance and practical. We try my best to ensure that every piece from Conversation Pieces is something that you will reach for in your closet time and time again.

Don’t miss this hidden gem in Long beach. Unique and classic pieces– clothing, jewelry, furniture and the cute fluffy Miss Mimi. More than reasonable pricing. The owner is very friendly… as is Monica who helped me before. I’ll be back for some other items that I fell in love with.

Love !! This little store. Besides their friendly staff and ambience, they have to coolest things available for gifts with that special touch, some are hand made, very unique. Jewelry that I have not seen anywhere else, hair pins for little girls. Super cute clothing !! Just something you have to see to appreciate. And. They haves classes for sewing and tea party etiquette for little girls, ah !! Love…

Is Audrey for real? That’s what my daughter and I wondered after her warm and genuine greeting when we took the time to visit her grand opening several weeks ago. She remembered us from months and months ago as online customers. She has a good eye for fashion and her prices are completely reasonable.

I discovered Conversation Pieces through a pin on pinterest two years ago. Everything that I have ordered is promptly shipped and packaged both beautifully and carefully. I also love that Conversation Pieces carries really fun merchandise that I have never seen elsewhere. I would highly recommend shopping the online store if you are not in the vicinity of the retail store.

I have shopped only online which has been a great experience each time. Pinning adorable clothes on Pinterest only can happen so much until you take the plunge and buy something you actually pin! YAY!
A super comfy casual shirt on Pinterest lead me to Conversation Pieces website and thankfully my size was in stock (you have to move quickly for the popular stuff before it sells out.)Come to find out this is a real store in Long Beach! Must go in one day…
Got my beautifully wrapped package two days later (WOW!) and the shirt was folded neatly in tissue paper, tied with a ribbon with a tiny but adorable lollipop placed in the middle. Totally adorbs and I just fell in love.
I unwrapped my shirt and SADLY there was a hole on the side that I noticed right away. I emailed the shop instantly and within hours had a response that a new one was being sent out that day and to keep the one with the hole. I couldn’t believe how wonderful the customer service was. Def impressed.
New shirt came 2 days later and I love it. I have since then bought many more shirts and I feel they are reasonably priced. Some items I really want are not in stock but I check all the time.
I am thankful for how Pinterest has helped awesome shops like Conversation Pieces get known because my closet is much more happier now!
