Meet the Business Owner

Amy Loe and Teri Villanueva L.

Business Owner

Co-​Owner, Teri Appleton is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. She also studied Spanish at UCLA, in Guadalajara, Mexico, and Cali, Colombia. She is an award winning pastry chef, head chef, and recipe formulator. She studied authentic Mexican cooking in Veracruz and Oaxaca with culinary superstar Rick Bayless. Teri has been working in professional kitchens and teaching people to cook for the last 25 years.

Co-​Owner, Amy Loe is a graduate of the culinary program at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I. and has worked at restaurants all over the country including Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and Palm Beach, Florida. She has been Executive Chef at both the 555 East Restaurant and King’s Fish House in Long Beach. Amy is an expert on fish and shellfish, having worked as an account rep for Santa Monica Seafood, and was owner and operator of Old Ranch Meat Company. She is eager to share her love of food and cooking with our local area.
