Pros: Pita Bread, Lamb Chops, and yogurt dip. Cons: Vegetable abuse, Bite into veggies and water squirts out! Greek salad with a choice of dressing including Ranch/Blue Cheese! Chopped white, tart, strong, onions, too small to remove. Balsamic vinegar in place of Greek dressing. Have a Greek salad elsewhere.

It’s a neighborhood spot, but not the same since Georgie has left. The feel and the sprit is not the same. We will still come here from time to time, but not as often as we did before.

Great gyro combination plate! Good taste at a great price. The combo includes a good size gyro, fries, and a drink. Not too bad for 9 dollars! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good and friendly lunch spot.

I haven’t been to this place in a while. I decided to take my wife here. She was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the burgers. The taste is fresh and not greasy like some other hamburger spots. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will be back that’s for sure.

Wow what a disappointment all I wanted was a Gyro and it was a terrible excuse of a gyro. The near wasn’t shaved there! It was tasteless! If the people were not so nice I would’ve given it half a star!

I really dont like Salads… But i will take a Greek Chicken Salad from here anyday! I ordered it because of their«best salads in town» sign and now ive gotten my friends hooked on it too! Their patty melt is also delicious! Wish i could take .5 of a star off because ive also gotten their burgers and when i ask to dine in, the serving of fries is so small i can count them. Other than that, very good food & service.

Stay away! All my friends and family have been loving customers for years. Please don’t ruin it by making it some hipster hang out. I see you young people with your curly mustaches and peg leg pants with your loafers, boots and Chuck Taylors. Splitting the Giro salad. Dipping your pita in the delicious homemade humus. Savoring the lamb chops. Or downing mounds of thick, crunchy bacon and cooked-just-right eggs. Or the shish — kabob on a bed of rice with side salad. Or the Greek salad with an assortment of olives. Or the OMGBLT, which is really a bacon sandwich with lettuce and tomatoe. Just stay away! I like it quiet and subdued and need it serene when I ask for my secret, off-menu item. Yeah, that’s right, I qualify for the age discount AND I’m INB4U. PM me for the secret menu item, Poseurs.

So far… so good! :) yesterday was my first time here and I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and it was delicious and well prepared in a timely manner… well worth the price. I also noticed how many of the customers and waitresses were familiar with each other which is a good sign and thing. … I went to lunch with a friend and I’d say the experience we had with the waitresses was a breath of fresh air so to speak… they were very friendly, helpful, kind and professional…

Already went here twice in a week with friends. So far so good. We’ve ordered the gyro plate, salmon plate, breakfast burrito, and gyro salad. I can’t complain about the food. I loved it my friends loved it and everyone at the table agreed their food was tasty. Service was prompt and staff was friendly. It’s a sit wherever you want to sit place. They have out door seating as well. You actually have to order your food at the counter and a server will bring you your meal. All in all for the two times I’ve been here(one for lunch time and the other for dinner) I haven’t had a complaint about this place yet. Then again not every visit is going to be the same. Of course I’ll be back.

Amazing! Quick & friendly service. Very local business. If you’re looking for good authentic Greek food, this is your place. Found them on Unilocal, and I’m spreading the love. I orders the chicken gyro salad/plate. Everything was perfection.

Deserves an update and additional star! Burgers, gyros, and Greek salads are all good. Definitely, my favorite take out place close to home. Their Greek salad is particularly good.

Consider me Leslie Knope, because I will come here for waffles and breakfast all the time. First, what struck me immediately were the workers. They are the greatest servers I have ever met. They are SOOOO nice!!! Second, the food was amazing. Best fries I ever had. Best pancakes. Love the all day breakfast options!(Especially for people like me who prefer breakfast for dinner). Prices are also Really amazing! Cheap food and delicious choices, this is my new favorite place.

This place was definitely not my first choice but it was my friends turn to pick our monthly catch up session and he picked this spot so I just went a long with it. This place is just ok. Would I come back if given an alternative? Probably not. To be fair, I spent some time in Greece last summer and after trying a variety of amazing Greek dishes and restaurants this place of course fell short. The restaurant is one of those where you order, pay for it, and then they bring it out to you when ready. So I decided to go with the Gyro combo about $ 9 and it came with the gyro sandwich a side of fries and a drink. I swear I barely sat down at my table gave my God Daughter a big hug and kiss and my food was already being brought out. Grabbed a fry because my God Daughter wanted one and it was barely warm, lead me to think about the freshness and quality of ingredients and if the food was being pre prepared or had been sitting there. The gyro itself was just ok. Nothing worth mentioning, I didn’t even finish it. We decided on getting dessert since our meals were uneventful. The baklavas in the display case were calling my name and when I asked if they were made on site the cashier casually mentioned that they didn’t have the man power to make them and that someone else makes them fresh and that they were about 3 days old but still good… 3 days old? I wouldn’t quite call that fresh. Needless to say I passed on the baklava and returned home sill hungry and no where near satisfied.

Great service and awesome GYRO sandwiches. I’ve been here twice and have fallen in love with the lamb Gyro, while the GF loves the chicken gyro. They offer all of your normal char-burger diner options… from pancakes to fried zucchinis. Can’t wait to go back again.

Knocked off 2 stars due to slow service. Sandwiches are great, my favorite being the toasted garlic chicken on a roll. But the sevice — commmonnn! Why so slow!!! There are enough employees to prepare your food in 5 minutes. However every time I come here it takes up to 20 minutes to put together a sandwich?! It’s a joke. Dear owner, please ask your employees to stop socializing and start expediting the preparation. Thank you!

Heh, I had to check my last review… sorry about all the f-bombs! It wasn’t entirely warranted, but whatever. I wanted to visit Café Bixby, but they’re under construction. I remember from my last visit that I need to read the copious menu board and make a decision quickly, or run the risk of having another counter person pull another disappearing act. I saw the specials and decided on the Greek omelet, home fries, wheat toast and coffee. Coffee is self-serve; grab a cup from the coffee station and help yourself. Only thing at the tables are napkins and salt/pepper, so if you want sugar or hot sauce, got to get it yourself. Food came quick enough and the home fries were decently seasoned. Omelet was good enough, but not anything outstanding. Was a bit surreal that I had to stir sugar in my coffee with a steak knife(no spoons in their flatware set up). Most of the specials look good and I think the best best(according to observations from fellow Unilocalers) is to stick with the Greek-themed items. I think their menu might be a bit too expansive and seems like they’re good at a few things, but mediocre everywhere else. Still, can’t beat breakfast for $ 6.92, sans tip. No sense tipping the standard percentage since all the server does is deliver your order and nothing else. The tip bowl is conveniently located by the cash register. Probably a good spot for take out.

GEORGIE’S porgy pudding PLACE I thought I had written a review for this place! But apparently I’m a slacker! My first time here I went with co-workers and I think it was a FRIDAY. I had NEVER heard of this place let alone been there. One co-worker get a burger and the other a Greek Salad. I got the Greek salad combo that came with fries that I really didn’t need of could finish! The second time I came here it was because I was out running errands at lunch time which means I needed dog food for the fur babies and I knew this place would be quick! So I decided since it was right down the street from the pet store I would go here! I got a Greek salad with lamb. It comes with Greek dressing and tiziki sauce to go with the lamb and pita. The owner George is SUPERNICE and I was hoping to see him again! He REALLY knows how to make his customers feel like a million bucks! If it is NOT too busy he will walk around and speak with everyone, SMILING and being the SOCIALBUTTERFLY he naturally is! I know this because my own Papa Smurf is a social butterfly and will talk to a light pole if given the chance! At the grocery store is all behind the deli counter and in the back of the store chatting up everyone! It makes going to a grocery store a long experience. Anywho I digress, Georgie is a SWEETY for sure and his employees are SUPERDUPERNICE as well! It didn’t take long for my salad to be ready. I mean it is not like they had to go outside and pick it, wash it and then prepare it! They bagged up my food and I was out the door in no time! I got back to work with 15 minutes to spare and try to enjoy my food before anyone saw me to ask a question. The lamb was REALLY tender and YUMMYDELISH! I tore off pieces of the pita and wrapped some of my lamb and salad into it! So GREAT! Like a mini gyro! The portion side is NICE and they don’t skimp either. It kept me full for the rest f the day which was awesome! I don’t think I needed to eat dinner! I will definitely be back for lunch. They are UBERQUICK and FRIENDLY! Plus the FOODISYUMMY! They have a huge menu with all sorts of things on it so there is a NICE variety as well! I LOVE when places have variety. They say it’s the spice of life and when it comes to lunch it’s a GREAT thing! They fill up quick but there is plenty of seating both inside and out on the patio in case you want to enjoy the NICE weather. Stop by and try out this place for lunch or breakfast! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
