History

Established in 1996.

I started designing outdoor living spaces in 1990 and incorporated my business is 1996. We then expanded to also include basement designs and remodeling. Back then we were calling them «face lifts» but today they are called fix and flips. In this time we have won awards with our designs, been featured in a book titled «Deck Designs», been on several HGTV and DIY shows and am the President of the North American Deck and Rail Association. Business Owner

Grew up in a small Western Kansas farm community and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Business Administration. I am married and am living proof that behind every good man is a great woman. We have three wonderful children who amaze me daily. I have been featured in books, magazines, HGTV and DIY television shows, and a series of videos about deck safety and selecting a contractor. I am the President of the North American Deck and Rail Association and am a charter member to that association. I have served on advisory boards for some of the largest decking manufactures in our industry and continue to strive to be knowledgeable and a leader in our industry.
