Budget Auto Repair and Used Tires in Lemon Grove

I got a salvage car and they took care of it I didn’t know that it’s that bad and dangerous driving it. At a reasonable price not trying to sell anything nor a pushover they are honest and reliable they tell you the problem and you decide if you wanna do it or not! Not the other guys that will say if you drive it some more youre gonna die lol

I came here today for just an oil change, but it’s definitely not the first time. My previous car indeed wasn’t that great and had a lot problems, but thankfully I found this mechanic that helped me with tires, brakes, fluids and other minor problems. Other shops were asking me a lot of money and trying to find further problems, but this guy just helped me when I needed it for a very reasonable price, and I never had problems with what he fixed.
I really recommend this place, but I suggest to call in advance to check their availability because they are usually just in two people.

I stumbled across this repair shop while doing some online research for a front-​end brake job, and I noticed their prices were much lower the what I had been previously quoted.
I thought the owner, Jabar, was both friendly and professional. Moreover, he never tried to up-​sell me on anything, or try and squeeze any extra business out of me by way of any scare tactics. The work was done on time, and thus far to my satisfaction. IE: No problems.
While I was there I decided to compare his prices to that of some other work that I just had done at another shop. This was before I even knew about ‘Budget Auto Repair.’ His prices were about half of what I had paid.
Today, I had my girlfriend bring her car in for an A/​C recharge. Again, the fee was about 50% lower than what my usual mechanic charges. My girlfriend said she wanted to return for some additional work that she needs done, but did not have the time today.
The bottom line is Budget Auto Repair seems to do good work without the exorbitant fees and without some of the shady tactics that other places sometimes use. I only wish I would have found them earlier, and this shop will now be my ‘go-​to’ shop for future repairs.

Great experience! I needed a replacement for a run flat to turn in my lease… They had a used one in stock and replaced for a lot less than the dealer would have charged $$$. Nice guys, very professional and quick service.

I travel out of my way to take my car here for service. The owner it has to be one of the most honest mechanic so I have ever come across. Have been going there for over the past 12 years. A few years ago I discovered used tires and will never buy a new tire again. I bought 4 Yokohama tires for under $ 150, mounted and balanced, with 85 percent tread left on them. Two years later they are still in my car and I have had no problems. I also love that if its something not worth fixing he will ask you how much longer you are keeping the vehicle and advise on whether to fix it or not based on how much longer you plan on keeping the car. Excellent service, quick turnaround, great prices.

We came here the other day to get an oil change. It was about 34.00 and the guy who did the work was really nice. They did a good job. The place is clean from what I could see. I would come back here again. Short and simple.

They had the used tires I needed (no one else had them); $ 150 for two used tires with install and tire balance. The service is slow, I prefer Hernandez Tires in chula vista, but like I said before they only had them here.

I have been having my car serviced here for several years and they are the best! The owner is very proffesional and knowledgeable in his work. I feel they are honest with what needs to be done and fair in their prices. I moved to Pacific Beach, but I still drive out here for all my car’s needs because I know the will get the job done right.
