Real estate has been a passion my whole life, but turning it into a career is relatively recent. Transitioning out of the High Tech industry in Austin has given me a unique and different background that allows me to see business in a different light. I started my career in Real Estate to make a difference, not just transact business.

Wade Funk is a seemingly rare creature these days, a native to the Austin area. Growing up in Georgetown and North Austin, He and his wife, Lindsay, have settled in the Crystal Falls neighborhood in Leander for the past 16 years with their three children, Kylie, Kennedy, and Kaylan.

Watching Leander grow up around him, has sparked a passion for seeing the development of the community. Wade would love to help put Leander on the map, so to speak. He envisions shops, businesses, culture, and entertainment in the heart of Leander in the near future and hopes to be instrumental in this development.

Wade has always had an interest in Real Estate and development. For him it’s all about connections. Making that connection with the client and then making the right match for the sale. «Matching or connecting people and property, creating partnerships, and knowing it was a good match is my idea of fun. I believe clients like working with me because of my down to earth, no frills personality.»
