Established in 2013.

FIRST RENT is a 2^nd generation professional property management company.

It was founded with the vision of setting the standards for customers service in our local market.

We are passionate about the profession of property management. We value continuing education to keep up to date on all local, state, and federal laws to protect both our clients and tenants.

We are proud to be a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®). NARPM® is an organization of 11,000+ members focusing on ethical leadership, professionalism, and continuing education for the residential property management industry.

Business Owner

Leland Banner, RMP® is the president and property manager of FIRST RENT. His extension experience began over 32 years ago, while mowing lawns for his family’s property management operation. Reflecting back, he claims to have pulled over one million weeds (unofficially)!

As his valued client, you can expect the utmost level of professionalism and integrity when managing your rental property.

You will benefit from his dedicated passion for industry specific continuing education. He is currently the only property manager in San Diego and Orange County to qualify for the Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®).
