Helped me out. Was in a bind. Just check pricing as I feel I was overcharged for a cheap brand of tires. They roll though and got me on my way.

Firestone La Canada has great service! Dave and Mike are awesome! They also really care about their community and giving back. They recently helped out a local graduating teen who has been on his own with not family and needed work done on his car. I will always give my business to those that care about others! Thank you !

Had wheels balanced and wasn’t happy so I left a negative feedback, before giving them a chance to rectify the matter. Since then have discussed the issue and had other work done to satisfaction.

Replaces my brakes the wrong way. After getting my breaks fixed at this place it started making a weird noise. He said it wasn’t them but I took it to another mechanic and he said they just didn’t do it right. He said it would cost over 1000 dollars to fix and I took it somewhere else and they did it for Firestone. It seems every time I’ve brought my car into them it comes out with a new problem. Don’t go here. One time I saw one of their guys working on my car and he pulled on the door handle super hard over and over again and then my door didn’t open anymore. THE DRIVER DOOR. So he fixed it for free. Can’t say the same about this last issue. It seems if the numbers get too high when it’s their fault they won’t take the blame. We’ve been going to this place for over 20+ years. They just lost a long time customer.

We were driving to Santa Barbra and our tires beeps that it was low on air. So I Unilocaled for a tire place and this place came up. They quickly came out and helped us and told us we needed a new tire, and that our back tire had a slash in it. Luckily we had a jeep so we used our spare, plus it was only 10 bucks for the whole thing.

This is for an experience a year or so ago. Had a coupon for a free rotation. Great, call and schedule an appointment. Go in for the rotation. Took longer than it should have, but nothing too serious. I was probably there an 1.5 hrs with an appointment. I could do it faster myself playing musical jack/​tires. Go to check out, noticed I forgot the coupon, guy says sorry. Fine, can’t hold that against them but $ 25 for a rotation, c’mon.
So, I wash the car the next day and the recessed lug holes were all scratched up on two wheels (inside the whole where only a socket would fit, as well as around the hole). The car had 7500 miles and wheels had never been off since the day I bought it. I call to tell them, expecting them to say let’s take a look. Instead I get, ‘Couldn’t have been us, we take care about that.’ I wash and wax my car every single week — I’m a freak about it. Not to mention, inside the lug hole? Get real. They lied and it’s unacceptable and I’m left with scratched rims and no real way to prove they did it. Car is sold now, but I can’t explain how livid I was — sloppy work and no integrity.

Unless you have to go there and it’s an emergency, STAY AWAY.
I had been in an «almost accident» and a lot of screeching and squealing of tires, and since then the steering seemed a little off, maybe. I had a coupon for Firestone for tire rotation, brake check, battery, oil, transmission– all fluids probably– and to fill winshield wiper fluid. Sounded perfect. I went in and said I wanted all this and I thought I needed the wheels balanced or aligned. I left it there for about 2 hours. When I got back I was told, in a very condescending way, my car had everything wrong with it. All fluids were dirty and leaking, there was a cracked tube that should be fixed ASAP, all hoses were old and needed replacing, tires were old, shocks & struts had never been replaced ever, etc. but the battery was ok and the brakes were ok, for now. DOOM. this is a 1984 MBZ. It’s old. Got it
Of course, I said to fix the cracked tube, but I wasn’t able to buy tires right then, so asked them to at least balance and/​or align the old tires too. No, waste of time unless you buy new tires. Well, it was 4:30 so probably really just no time now to do what I came in and asked for initially; right? I paid my bill and said well, at least I have windshield wiper fluid so I can wash my windshield now. Dave gave me a thumps up.
On the way home the car now shakes and pulls to the left!!! WTH. if it wasn’t a little off before, it is now. I tried to wash the windows, NO FLUID. Really? Are you kidding me? My son helped me open the hood to put in washer fluid and there was a broken tube lying across the air filter — not cracked, but broken off !!!
I am now missing a lug nut. You can tell I had one before by the extra clean area where it was covered by said missing lug nut.
I trusted these guys and the name, but that was a HUGE MISTAKE.
Maybe if you’re a guy and a friend, they’ll take care of you (and not take three or four phone calls while filling out your work order with you) and fix whatever, but all I got was damage — broken tube to air filter, loss of lug nut, car steering way off now without a doubt — and I was charged for it. BEWARE !!!

I tried this place because they had some good reviews but they are totally crap. I went in because there was a loud grinding noise coming from the front tire. They checked it out and said there was nothing wrong but I could use an alignment. Really?! That’s weird because it’s never made screeching noises before. Oh and they tried to tell me all of my brake lights were out. I told them there was no way that was possible so he checked it again and low and behold the lights were working. He said he guessed his guy just didn’t push the brake hard enough. Wouldn’t you be curious if none of the brake lights came on and try to troubleshoot… I guess not. Ultimately, I did the alignment and left with the noise still there because «it was fine.» Cut to 3 months later, the screeching noise got crazy bad so my husband took it in this time ’cause last time they treated me like a subhuman because I was a woman. They said they would check it out. We got a call back at the end of the day and they said the bushings were old and so they oiled it. My husband left there saying the sound was a bit better but the next day it was back to its old self. Finally, we took the car elsewhere because something was definitely wrong. Apparently the ball joint is busted and the wheel could come off if it’s not fixed. So basically the Firestone guys are incompetent and could have killed us if we would have lost a tire on the freeway or something.

I had an oil change and they also charged for brake inspection. So i was going to get upset about it but then i discovered that my brakes work much better than before. So I heard about this place that they do good work.

On my way back to northern cal after thanksgiving with the family, my Car reports severe low pressure in a tire. Turns out had a year. The guys at the shop checked the pressure. I coulda driven on it but was nervous. Dave only had one tire which he woulda put in but the other side was warn too. Long story short they got one from the warehouse and I was back on the road in 2 short hours. There was absolutely no pressure to up sell. I think the service here is outstanding.

If a zero stars were possible, I would give it. Rude on the phone. Rude in your face. Let you wait without acknowledging you. Did the tire work with resistance. But no time for alignment. So go elsewhere. What the heck??? Serious tire problems awhile after. Really? Strange place. A no-​go. Please.

Went to Firestone (Bridgestone) to replace two tires on my SUV. The other two tires were also worn, but I thought I could get a couple thousand more miles out of them. I could have been talked into taking all four tires and a wheel alignment, but the guy who helped me didn’t try to upsell me. We replaced the two needed tires and planned on doing the wheel alignment when the other two need replacing. I love a place that doesnt’ feel the need to sell you everything along the way. They replaced the tires in less time than they thought and at a decent price.

We have been taking our cars here for at least 20 years, for regular service and tires. They have proved themselves to be honest, reliable and reasonably priced. I am surprised that some people have had bad experiences, because I never have, and two cars, twenty years? that is a lot of visits!

My parents and I have always taken our cars to Mike and Dave. That’s twenty-​plus years of having our cars well-​prepared for trips to the Sierras or up to the Central Valley. Always feel secure about their safety, and have always been treated courteously. Better than having to take your car to the dealership!

I’ve used Dave and Mike for years. They are reliable and honest, and the work gets done on time. They are not the cheapest, but are worth it! Everyone in the neighboorhood relies on them.

As we were rushing to an important family event, we get a smoldering flat and try not to panic as we exit the freeway. Thankfully Bridgestone/​Firestone La Canada was just across the street. We cancelled our service call to AAA and left our fate to Dave and his staff. We were out of there in 11 MINUTES with a brand new tire installed! On a Saturday! We made it just on the dot, thanks to the quick, friendly work here. Thank you so much!
Wish I were a local so I could give them more business. Definitely a well-​deserved five stars!

i don’t understand how this place gets a recommendation from the auto club. i would never trust any firestone with their penchant for exploiting any repair job, but in my case, terribly overpriced cheap parts that didn’t last and flippant attitude make this place a no-​go. i’d rather experiment and find a new shop before i went to this place again, which i have avoided for several years now. i’m still looking for a good guy with a scope.
i would exercise extreme caution if you have no choice but to go here, otherwise, try somewhere else.

I am 2^nd generation to keep coming here; they treated my dad good and me even better! Dave and Mike are great. I always get top notch service and I have never had a problem. Highly recommend! Thanks, Tim Pulcifer

Was RACING to get to work– had a bad battery, blown headlight, and an impatient boss. Came in without an appointment & they got me out in an hour as promised. Reasonably priced repairs and SUPER friendly guys. Seemed like everyone else coming in knew the owners by name and were regulars. Says a lot about their trustworthiness. Just moved here and will certainly go back if I need stuff in the future.

Took my civic for basic maintenance. The work does not need expertise so I cannot comment on the quality of their work (which would have given three stars). I do not feel I was treated with courtesy and respect (so I took one star off). I don’t mean their anecdotal behavior but consistently they were rude. For example, they call you with their fingers not by ‘Mr/​Ms.’. Even those novice mechanics at other chain repair stores were more polite than this front desk. Hopefully they just have a bad sense of humor.
