Bad service, Rude $ 110 for a oil change and spark plugs. I ask for some tires by the way they make a phone call sounds like I’m dealing with the middle man, don’t have any size in Stock only overpriced used tires. note guy seen the money I pulled out and made a joke if I knew you had that stash I would of charge more. That’s not good.

Super overprice. Wanted to charge me $ 80 for a used tire, I really needed to get to my destination so I said yes. While the guy was putting it on the wheel, the tired made a pop sound and he told me it wasn’t good anymore so they didn’t have a tire. I went somewhere else where I got a used tire for $ 30. I still had to pay the guy $ 15. Don’t recommend his place at all.

First found prestige when on fair oaks did awsome job then now in new spot and still cusyomer service is good had brakes done replace alternators and other problems fix recommend this place they look out for you good prices will work with you. Do not trust them with your car! I took my car in to get the brakes checked/​serviced as needed. They «adjusted» the rear brakes, said that’s all that was needed (and it took 5 – 6 hours to just do that). Afterward, my car was making weird sounds while reversing. Took it to a different shop, and it turns out my rear brakes are totally shot from being improperly adjusted. On top of that, they missed serious problems with the front brakes and axle. Now I’m having to pay a fortune to fix their mistake and make my car safe to drive again. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I took my car to them because it struggled starting and the first thing they said was I needed a new battery. So they replaced my old battery with an alleged Interstate battery. Eight months later, I’m having the same problem again. I took it into three different auto shops, including Prestige, and Prestige tells me I need a new alternator (they said my battery was fine) after I told them I wanted a replacement battery because it was still under warranty, and the other two shops told me I need a new battery when in fact Prestige gave me a bad battery eight months back. They are untrustworthy and dishonest. I will never recommend them to anyone. They said they would replace my old battery after I insisted but I didn’t want to deal with them anymore in case they pulled the same stunt over so I just went to a different auto shop and bought a new battery with them. The other shop I went to said it wasn’t even an official Interstate battery. They are awful and unjust.

I’ve brought several different cars to George. The first time I tried his shop was for an oil change because this is the closest garage to my house and the price was right. I’ve been coming back ever since. George is an honest mechanic who knows what he’s doing. That’s all I want from a mechanic.

You just can’t beat George, Erica and the Team. I recently found them after my 1998 Jeep Cherokee broke down on Orange Grove, a few blocks from their shop. I had the tow truck driver take my sick car to them and I was worried it was going to be expensive, like all those auto shops on Walnut. They did a diagnostic of my Jeep and found that I had a faulty ignition module. I got fixed soon after. I got the right vibe from these people, honest and affordable. My old champ just found a new doctor. Time for a carwash now.

I have an ’88 BMW 635csi, a car that causes mechanics to go «Ka-​ching!» at other places So I pull up at 7 am sharp, and hey’re ready to go! The mechanic diagnosis the problem, fixes it, and I’m rolling out 30 minutes later. Don’t hesitate because the place doesn’t look like a high-​end joint with guys in white coats. But they know their stuff and now I have a new «go-​to» place for brakes, tires, etc. This may be one of Pasadena’s best-​kept automotive secrets.

Unbelievably dishonest! We bought 4 used tires here 7 weeks ago. I noticed the 2 they put in the rear of the vehicle had very little tread however I understood we were buying used tires and let it slide. Yesterday one of the rear tires literally blew out on the freeway. My entire family was in the car, luckily noone was hurt. There was a 24″ rip right thru the middle of the tire. Upon returning to Prestige, i was shocked at how the manager Carlos treated us. He flatly denied selling us a tire with less than 50% tread blaming it on alignment (Even though THEY did the alignment when they put the tires on). Carlos offered me a $ 5 discount on another tire with hardly any tread! Obviously this business does not care about return customers. STAY AWAY

They appear under two slightly different names on Unilocal,so this duplicates my posting. I have used many mechanics at many shops for a variety of my cars and trucks, foreign and domestic. Quite by accident I struck gold with these guys! There is a great muffler shop on the premises and after he did a terrific job on a Land Rover catalytic, I talked to George, the master mechanic at Prestige, about some other projects that even the best white-​coat-​wearing German shops had been unable to diagnose. His answers seemed competent and he has delivered, fixing items the others could not. He has two of my cars there right now and I will keep sending down cars and trucks until the fleet is perfect! Lowest prices on tires, too!
