I’ve been using B&D for a couple of years for minor and major services of my Honda Civic Hybrid. Diko is meticulous with documenting what needs to be done, actually doing the work, then auditing the work on pickup. His prices are reasonable, he always uses factory parts and fluids when available, his quotes match the final bill. Work is done in a timely manner.
Bottom line: I highly recommend B&D.

Been getting my car serviced here for years and I’ve always had a great experience. The owners, Peter and Diko, are always courteous and professional. You can tell they’re very experienced and they have a very quick turnaround time. I’m always in and out of there very quickly.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for their auto care needs.

Car was making a metallic «rubbing» sound from the front right wheel. After their examination, they described the sound they heard as totally different than what I heard and that it was coming from the back left?! Ok, you’re the car guys, great, can you fix the noise? Yes? Great, here’s $ 600-​some to fix it, see ya later.
Had my friend pick up the car for me, had lots to do that day. When he gave me the car back, it was making the same noise, but even worse. Took it back to the shop. Had a guy get in while we drove around the block. Rolled down the front right window so he could clearly hear the noise. I said «Hear that noise? The metal rubbing sound?» He said «Barely. But it wasn’t making that noise when you dropped it off.» Barely my ass, he straight up lied to me. Period. They replaced a part that broke for free, which was the one good thing they did.
A few months later, I had to take the car to a different mechanic, who fixed it right. Of course, there’s ANOTHER several hundred dollars I has to spend., but at least I got the job done.
I was new in town at that point and really needed an honest, trustworthy mechanic. Instead I got screwed as a «welcome to L.A.» Thank God I was able to find some of those trustworthy mechanics elsewhere.
Definitely skip these guys!
