I went to Rachel for a prenatal massage. I was totally pleased with how she treated me.
First off the location is pretty simple to find as long as you look at a map. I had no trouble finding it. After I arrived, she offered a nice cup of tea (of my choice) then asked me to change into my robe while the tea steeped. I came out of the bathroom to soft music playing and sat down on the couch. While I drank my tea she gave me an awesome foot massage. Afterwards she gave me my massage on the table. It felt amazing. I’m not lying when I say I had to pull myself together in the car after I was finished, considering it felt like I was drunk since I was so relaxed :)
I would totally recommend a massage from her. Made my week.

This studio is the best! They are conveniently located in Kaneohe in a beautiful home on Kaneohe Bay Drive. I booked a massage and facial and had them back to back. It was the most amazing, quiet, relaxing experience I have had at a spa. I would recommend them to anyone. They are reasonable, personable, and friendly. The room was so serene and peaceful. I will book again soon for their services.

For Christmas my husband told me he would pay for a massage, from a friend of a friend’s wife. It took me a couple months to get up enough nerve to call someone I didn’t know, but once I did – it was totally worth it.
It sounds sketchy, but I didn’t know that Rachel had started a business and wasn’t just some random person that gives massages.
I drove up to this beautiful house (late and lost, but Rachel was so faithful to give me directions when I called frantic, and she showed grace to my tardiness). Beautiful doesn’t quite satisfy the way this place looks, and once I stepped inside. Amazing.
The title, Calm Studio Spa fits it well. The exterior and interior embody a very calming atmosphere. The single room studio has a perfectly placed, massage table, a chair for facial treatments, a couch for comfort, and perfectly placed shelves with various beauty products. And the spa part, well this business offers a full variety of massages (to include prenatal!), facial treatments and waxing services.
Treatments are by appointments only, and currently Rachel (the masseuse) does evening appointments. She did an amazing job. I had a crazy kink in my neck, and I told her she had quite a challenge ahead of her. She accepted it and smoothed it out with her hybrid of lomi lomi, Swedish and deep tissue massage.
This new business is definitely worth checking out, and I’m looking forward to seeing her again soon!
