History

Established in 2007.

Islanda was formed from the assets of CTA Solutions by the veteran development team at Wave Internet owned and operate by Michael R. Meyer who helped bring Road Runner to Hawaii. The goal for the creation of Islanda was fully managed IT services and Internet delivered applications preparing for the evolution of cloud computing services.

Business Owner

23 years with Oceanic Time Warner Cable in operations, finance, marketing and new media development on projects including addressable converters, pay per view, Music Choice, commercial Internet services and culminating in the launch of Road Runner Hawaii in 1997. Founded Wave Internet LLC (WaveCS) web application development in 1999 providing Internet based services for the US Army Pacific Command, Tripler Army Medical Center and commercial businesses in Hawaii. Took over operations of CTA Hawaii as a recovery project and used that to develop the first web based «cloud services» in Hawaii. In 2007 founded Islanda from the purchased assets of CTA and developed Hawaii’s first Cloud Computing provider as a VMware Service Provider Partner.
