Lanikai Juice

I love the chunky monkey bowl! Last time I came in a non English speaking tourist took my order by accident and the workers were so nice to make my order quickly and ask if I wanted to add a extra topping and gave me a courtesy gift card! Amazing service and yummy as always!

The most watered down, cheap ingredient acai bowl that we’ve had on the island. Save your money and go somewhere else. We would go to Janna Juice before ever going here again.

Grab a smoothy, fresh juice, or acai bowl and pair it with whatever food is near by, which there is a pretty decent variety within walking distance!
We got the Happy Tummy and Acai Smoothie but I’m going back for the Guava Lava or Guava Bresse!
Oh and pick me up some of their house honey, I’ll pay you back. ;)

I’ve been to this location several times, always enjoy the experience. I love their Carrot Juice and the Coco Berry gourmet bowls!
I came here yesterday with my mom; I ordered a Carrot juice, and she ordered a smoothie after me. She got her smoothie fairly quick, and before me. After a few other people received their orders before me, I realized they may have missed my order. I asked an employee and apparently they did. They immediately apologized and made my drink. What impressed me was they gave me a $ 5 gift card for my trouble. It was very appreciated, since I really like Lanikai Juice! The only other negative was that my Carrot Juice was not the best… Pretty pulpy. In fact, I noticed the guy was having issues with the juicer when making my drink. Maybe I’ll stick to smoothies and bowls from now on!

I really enjoyed their acai bowls. I ordered the extravaganza bowl and it had a pretty good flavor with lots of toppings. I liked that there were two options of sizes. The bowl that I LOVED was the acai colada, but it only comes in AN ENORMOUS size. I’d prefer two options. Overall, a good place to stop by for a decent acai bowl.

Excellent service and delicious juice and smoothies! We went on a not so crowded day. I definitely plan to visit this or another location when we come again to Oahu.

Awesome drinks and acai bowls, hate how crowded the Kailua spot is becoming with tourists, line is often out the door. Staff is sometimes pretty rude, but fresh & local smoothies are worth.

Always have to stop at Lanikai juice when I am in Kailua. I was early to a doctors appointment this morning at Castle and decided to make the 10 minute drive past the hospital to grab my smoothie. Best decision of my day!
Lanikai Juice has multiple locations, but this is by far my favorite. The store isn’t that big, but it doesn’t need to be. They have a variety of products from of course their smoothies to other juices and breads. Everything is made directly from the company and is very fresh.
The service can lack at times. That is the only reason I moved my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I am never really bothered by it with the exception of this morning when I am actually in a rush to get back to my appointment. After ordering I saw 2 employees eating in the back and two morning talking. After the two finished talking about 5 minutes later, they moved back to check to see my order. Then they proceeded to make it. I mean don’t get me wrong, this isn’t by any means a deal breaker, but just a tad annoying.
All and all, Lanikai juice is a great juice spot. Its in-​between a home grown juice bar and a Jamba Juice. Definitely worth a try!

Delicious juices!!! I had two drinks since I did an intense hike just before. I ordered the Pitaya smoothie and Pacific Passion. Both are different juices. The Pacific Passion was definitely more sweeter than the Pitaya, but I still enjoyed both drink. Served very chill to cool you off. The Pitaya definitely had the taste of the pitaya fruit, with a little bit of sweet from the other fruits, but not that sweet. The Pacific Passion was definitely sweet, but not like the junk you would buy that has concentrated fruits and sugar. These are real delicious drinks with real sugar. I haven’t tried all the smoothie places on the island, but for now, I enjoy these drinks. Service was great, no problem there. Price is around $ 4 to 6 bucks. Place also has lot’s of parking and A/​C inside, but it can get cold with the drinks, so baking in the sun felt great :)

Awesome place for smoothies if you’re a local or, like me, around for a quick vacation stop. I had the Kailua Monkey based on my friend’s recommendation, and it was fab! Convenient location near a bunch of stores and other restaurants. The regular size was large enough to share or drink solo if you’re feeling particularly thirsty/​hungry. The line was long-​ish when I got there, but it went by fairly quickly :) There’s also another version of the Kailua Monkey with almond milk and organic peanut butter instead for a small premium.

A heavily frequented small smoothie shop in the heart of Kailua, this place is kind of an icon to pass through and have yourself a merry little ice cold refreshment. Lot of different choices but I like to stick to the local favorites, especially the Kailua Monkey… has an awesome peanut butter aftertaste to it.
A few negatives are the prices tend to be high for the product (though Kailua in general is higher priced) and it can be quite busy on peak hours during the evening and the weekends for sure.
I once ran 6 miles and decided to get a Lanikai Juice to fuel up after… best decision ever!

Expensive juice bar but cold drinks, smoothies, and acai bowls are refreshing.
Let’s fave it’s. Anything and everything cold is refreshing in Hawaii’s hot weather!
This places smells great once you’ve stepped inside. It’s almost like a fancy high end jamba juice.
Tried their coconut chia «meal in a bottle» drink and it tastes pretty good. Almost like Vietnamese Che Chuoi dessert without the bananas.
Ask for their crushed ice in a cup. Tastes great with the coconut chia.
Their acai bowls are refreshing and icy!

I love Lanikai Juice! It’s a little on the pricey side but it’s delicious and always satisfies my smooth cravings! I’ve never had their acai bowls but hear they are delicious as well. Their juice is also great and I’d definitely recommend stopping in!

So I visited the Kailua Lanikai Juice store today and was happy with the taste of m drink «da green». However I was not happy with how dirty the place was. The counter tops were messy, the floor behind the counter had fruit all over and one thing that bothered me the most was that a lady came to refill the applies. She thought to throw the apples in the container.
They don’t wear name tags so I don’t know her name. The guy who was next to her said something to her and then they looked to see if someone was watching. She laughed and continued to throw the apples.
If I wanted ingredient that goes into the drink I ordered and paid for thrown around going to mynas will make it my self.
To Lanikai Juice: A clean environment would be appreciated. An Employee who handles the ingredient that goes into drinks should not be possum food around in front of customers

What better way to spend the evening than by having a Lanikai Juice right after spending an entire day at Lanikai Beach?! Being the acai fan that I am I’ll get the Acai Colada every time! The fresh pineapple and shaved coconut flakes compliment the strawberry, coconut milk, acai base very nicely. I only wish that they carried Macadamia Nuts! Add that to the Acai Colada and you’ve got the perfect bowl!

Our outing to Kailua resulted in a hair cut for my man and a visit to Lanikai Juice afterwards. This is was my second visit to Lanikai Juice.
I really liked the vibe upon entering. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and it smelled so darn good in there!
My honey got the Acai Extravaganza and I got the Hula Bowl. The total cost was $ 18 and some change. The Acai bowl was medium in size and the Hula Bowl was huge!
We got there in time, because after we ordered, a bunch of people came in to place their orders. We also then realized there were seven workers behind the prep area and kitchen. They were totally prepared for the crowds which seemed to be coming in waves.
Anyhow, we chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather and play tourist for a bit. My honey said we should have shared a bowl — like his Acai bowl. I initially agreed, but after I tasted my Hula Bowl, I quickly told him we made the right choice in getting our own bowls. The Hula Bowl was ONO ONO ONO!
I couldn’t finish it, so I took it home, placed it in the freezer, and had it for breakfast the next day.
All in all, the overall experience was very pleasant and worth another visit!

Great place to get freshly squeezed juices or these enormous fruit smoothie bowls which are amazing and totally worth getting!
I got the Pitaya bowl which is a dragon fruit bowl with coconut water, coconut cream, raw pitaya, banana, strawberry. Topped with granola, banana, blueberry, strawberry, shredded coconut and mango.
It does take them a while to make the bowls and if its busy a bit longer… but its super good and a popular juicing place.
I highly recommend this place!

I didn’t realize the goodness of PB+Choco+Banana until I ordered the kailua monkey here. Ummmm why did I never think to combine those flavors together?! Who even first thought of putting those flavors together in the first place? They should get a medal! The best part is, the smoothie (despite it being pb, choco whey, and banana) is actually fairly light. It doesn’t make you feel guilty like you just drank a choco or pb mood from jamba. It’s not super rich or chocolately like you would think.
Also like pretty much everyone else has said, their acai is pretty great. Can’t go wrong with an acai bowl from Lanikai. But seriously, try the kailua monkey. IT’S AWESOME.
–1 star since it’s a little expensive at $ 5 for a small smoothie. Acai bowls are more expensive and other fixins will definitely rack up $$$$.

Hi, my name is Nikki and I’m addicted to the Dr. Green.
I’ll admit, at about $ 5 a pop for a smoothie this place can get expensive if you have a habit of coming here like I do. Especially since I love the Dr. Green (close second is the Majestic Harvest) & my son loves the Mango smoothies, all of them.
So you’re warned, your new addiction will be costly.
I try to come super early in the mornings or late morning, it seems to be less crowded at those times. Maybe I should find out what the bus schedules are who bring tourist over from Waikiki and dump them in Kailua for a few hours, because THAT is when this place is a pain in the foot. The menu is only in English and most of the tourist don’t speak English so they have NO idea what to order… that equals looooooooonnnnnnnggggggggggg lines. Even with the new expansion, expect to wait 8+min for your smoothie.
Limited seating inside, a few tables outside, it’s best to just come here, get your smoothie/​bowl/​juice and go on your merry way.
Even though it sounds like I’m griping, this place is still the best. Even though Jamba Juice is right across the street, if they were giving away smoothies and there was NO line, I’d still come to Lanikai Juice.

Lanikai juice is the perfect stop for a snack between lunch, or a great refresher after the beach. Although they’re best known for their acai bowls, there are many other great smoothies and bowl combinations they offer. I almost always stop by when I’m on that side of the island for beach adventures.

I ordered the Acai Extravaganzica ($ 7.50) with an extra charge of $ 1.00 to get a honey drizzle. The bowl has coconut flakes, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and granola over a deep bowl of acai smoothie blend. Very delicious, though not the best acai on the island.

The value is decent. I mean, you’re in the heart of a tourist location that’s in a nice neighborhood with high rent, so yeah, their prices won’t be dirt-​cheap. I do think that $ 1.00 was a bit excessive for a honey drizzle, but in their defense, they did give a lot of honey, so I can’t complain.

Friendly service workers. Nothing incredibly wonderful, nor horrible, which is understandable when all I’m doing is ordering and picking up my bowls. All in all though, I’ve never had an issue of service at this location. Besides, the line moved very quickly despite it trailing out the door upon arrival. I was quite grateful for the short wait.

–Parking is readily available with a lot as part of the structure
–Acai bowls are best eaten in the shade unless you desire the liquified juice texture over the smoothie viscosity.
Again, not the BEST acai I’ve had, but definitely on a preferred list of mine. I definitely recommend it if you’re on that side of the island.
