Wow. Their bowl of miso soup for 3.49 is out of this world. Seriously one of the best miso’s I have every had and it is big. I mean very big for three bucks. I also tried their ahi tuna salad. Nice portion for $ 16. It tasted delish. Didn’t have dressing all over it which made it nice. Although the big chunk of ginger was a bit too much.

They made my Bloody Mary with Clamato. GROSS. I’m trying to fend off nerves to fly. I don’t wanna drink shellfish juice. Maybe ask and don’t assume that’s what is desired. Husband’s mojito was just okay. Thank everythang for drinksonaplane.

My sister and I are here on a layover. I had the Louie burger which was incredible and my sister had that tacos and really enjoyed them. The food and service were great.

Decent food for an airport restaurant. Was a little miffed at the service — my husband ordered a «hard» rootbeer on the recommendation of the server and didn’t like it. She told me to drink it… Wow. I told her I wouldn’t be able to finish my own, let alone another, and she just said«oh well».

If you have a chance to eat here the food is fresh and tasty. For a restaurant the food was served fast and everything was fresh and the service was great too. If I could give more stars I would. I wish they had one in The San Diego Ca. Area where I live. I would go often. :) 100% happy

I was eyeing the noodle dishes, which looked delicious, but I always overeat and was trying to keep myself in check. I ordered the Evil Jungle Princess with chicken because the name was hilarious, it had a lot of veggies and I thought it would be spicy. It was just ok. It was in a bland curry sauce of some sort and there wasn’t enough of it. The chicken was tender and the veggies were fresh, but it just did not satisfy that spicy, sweaty, torturous yet amazing punch that I like to get from spicy food. I sat at the bar and service was great.

Not bad for airport food and service! My family and I passed by this place and were on the fence about eating here(a sit down place) because our flight was coming up soon. However, when we voiced our concern to the hostess, she told us not to worry and that they would be able to accommodate our needs. I was still a bit skeptical, but we decided to get seated anyway. I ended up going for the Chopstick Chicken Salad, and I have no real complaints. The food quality was solid; the chicken, though, was a bit subpar for me in that it was pretty dry/hard. While the food was nothing special(but also not bad), the service was PHENOMENAL. The hostess and our waitress, especially, were so accommodating and understanding of our time constraint and went the extra mile to ensure that we were out of there as soon as possible. I think we got our food about 5 – 7 minutes after ordering, and spent a total of 30 minutes there! Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick sit-down restaurant at the airport. The food is average, the service is outstanding, and while you probably won’t be blown away by the food, you will likely be satisfied.

Eh… this place is definitely not what I would consider authentic Asian food, but the service is incredibly fast, and if you’re looking for a quick and filling meal right before a flight, this is a great option. I was at the Dallas airport for a 1 hour layover. I was literally in and out of Ling & Louie’s in 30 minutes, no joke. The food took less than 6 – 7 min. to come out, and we were a party of 4! I ordered the chicken fried rice. The chicken was a bit dry, and the rice/sauce wasn’t very well blended, but it was still pretty tasty. The portion sizes here are very generous, and prices are fairly reasonable for airport food. All in all, an OK place. Just don’t come here expecting authentic Asian food and you won’t leave disappointed.

The location by gate A12(near the escalators for the Skytrain) is convenient. Last time I ate there, I had to wait 5 minutes to get seated: not because they were busy, but because the host wandered off and no one noticed. Once I got seated, I order Kung Pow [sic] with tofu. It arrived 20 minutes later and I have to say that it was genuinely bad. I can accept cold tofu(most kitchens don’t realize you actually have to cook it longer than pre cooked meats to warm the middle) but I can’t accept sweet Kung Pao with no hint of spiciness at all. I complained to the server who explained that they only made it spicy on request. I pointed out that the menu said it was spicy and even had two pictures of chilies to show that it was extra spicy. She explained that was a mistake on the menu and their Kung Pao isn’t spicy. Maybe their other items are good. I will never know because I give up on this place. 2-stars(rather than 1) because the location is nice for a sit-down restaurant at DFW.

I have been here a couple of times as this is usually close to out gate on my way back to SF. This place is decent. Can serve lunch or breakfast. Its better than Popeyes down the corner and bagel store. If you want Chinese for lunch or American breakfast they have it. If you want just American, go across and check out Fridays. I have tried their orange chicken with crispy spinach and its good. Only comment here is the tea is not as HOT as I want it to be and the soup as well is not as HOT. Friendly service and funny and polite hostess.

Bumped into the manager James outside when my connection flight was delayed and he told me check this place out when I asked for a bar recommendation since I had 2 hrs to burn and I’m glad he did, nice spacious open bar and an awesome bartender. Sonia was quick to get to me soon as i sat down and continued to check up on me periodically to make sure I had everything I needed, also she was a little sassy in a good way, very personable. Food came out almost exactly 5 mins from the time I put the order in and was very good. If I get stuck here again or pass through and have a bit of time I’d definitely come back and hang out here at the bar instead of the gate. Oh, and everything was very reasonably priced for airport food/bar.

No complaints here. Had a red eye flight, grabbed a great breakfast, really enjoyed the service and would definitely come back. Ask for Dennis! He is a great waiter that will treat you right.

Great little spot in Terminal A, DFW. I can’t comment on much other than the cleanliness, the beer selection, the beer itself, and the staff and accommodations. All were great. The establishment itself is situated at the far end of the terminal and near restrooms, meaning you have easy access to the commodes and the rest of the terminal’s shops at your disposal. The beer was served cold and refreshing, especially after any exorbitant amount of time on an airplane. Televisions line the bar to catch you up on the day’s news and sporting events. The décor, that faux Asian, is done surprisingly well, and the dim lighting is evocative of whatever intimacy you’d find at a higher end eatery.

It was one of the best padthais i have had in a while, Custom ordered with no egg. I had the Chicken and Shrimp combo with right amount of tamarind sauce and spice. It was $ 16/-for one order but well worth it!

Friendly bartenders, nice bar setup with big TVs to watch the game, and ok «Asian» food(think a step below PF Changs). This was the best service I’ve ever had in an airport. Liam was fast, efficient, and was having fun while doing it. Ling & Louie’s is a nice spot for a bite and a beer when going through Dallas.

Well, this was just okay. Service was disorganized. I just got carryout, but several people helped– some were on top of things, some weren’t. The food was… okay. The crab crunch roll wasn’t crunchy, and didn’t have much flavor at all. The potstickers were fine, but seemed like good frozen ones. The prices are high for what you get. For airport food it’s slightly above average, but next time I’ll go somewhere else.

Perfect for a quick sit down meal before your flight — I ordered, ate, and paid within 30minutes. The Korean wok salmon was served with asparagus and a side of rice(jasmine or fried rice) the salmon was moist and flavorful although not as healthy as one may think– the salmon and asparagus were served on a sizzling platter with a layer of oil but at least it was freshly made!

I was craving Chinese food and there was Ling and Louie’s. I didn’t expect it to be authentic at all, but figured it would at least satisfy my craving. It did not. Panda express would have done a better job of that. It definitely wasn’t bad, and for airport food, it was pretty decent. It was on the expensive side, though, and can’t possibly be called Chinese food(in their defense, I suppose they call it an «Asian Grill» not Chinese, so I might have been wrong in thinking that it was Chinese). Their version of the Kung Pao chicken was anything but — they should have just named it something different — the flavor was a bit strong(not spicy, but strong — like they used too much of whatever sauce they were using). But it wasn’t bad. In a bind, it’s an okay airport choice.

I had a 3 hour layover at Dallas airport in my quest to travel from Champaign, IL, to Sacramento, CA. Since nobody likes to wait for that long, and I personally do not like the idea of me on my 3DS/laptop/ipad for 3 hours during layover, I decided to look around to see if I can find any interesting restaurant to write for Unilocal review. Hence, I stumbled upon Ling& Louie. Now, even though the name suggested that this restaurant is an «Asian bar and grill», it is more of a Asian fusion joint. It is more of an upscale version of Panda Express(not saying that this is a bad thing, becuase I don’t care what other individuals of Asian descent says, orange chicken is great as a dish. May not be true to be considered Asian, but it’s great comfort food nonetheless). I originally intended to order an ahi salad without blue cheese, but the waitress told me that is the one item that they ran out. So, I went with a simple caesar salad as an alternative. However, within 3 minutes of me placing my order, the waitress told me that she can still manage to improvise and put the ahi with spinach together to make a salad. Great service! I went with that alternative. Upon receiving the food, it was a lot better than expected. On the side, I got an interesting sauce that appeared to be a mix of wasabi and vinaigrette. The fish was cooked on the exterior and coated with sesame. Together, the two formed a formidable combo that actually made me crave for more. The spinach and the other components of the salad was very standard. Being an Asian fusion restaurant, this salad also comes with those sweet/sour ginger garnishes that often comes with sushi. Overall, I very much enjoyed the dish that the waitress went out of her way to make for me. However, in terms of food, I would rate this place a 3 star. But due to friendly services and overall great dining experiences, I decided to give this place a 4 star review.

I don’t tend to do airport restaurants, but I was hungry and it was either this or McDonlads, besides they have a very nice set up, lots of space and lots of draft beer. I ordered my beer. As most places could have been colder. Also ordered the«prices on Fire» because it sounded sort of like a kung pao, I ordered with chicken… Well IT was Not like I tough but it was very good, the portion was big but the chicken was not dry and the veggies were crisp. The dish was way too sweet but not bad, just not for me. This is a place I would definitely will check again, and if I find a location outside the airport with«outside the airport» prices I will definitely give it a try. I don’t need to tell you to give it a try, with the available options at the gate, this is your best. I just wish for colder drinks and full bar
