I’ve been here twice and both times been impressed. First time the daily special was a breakfast empanada which was amazing. The second time was this week. The special was honey cured smoked salmon on a croissant. I wouldn’t usually get a fish sandwich at the airport, but last time was so good that I decided to give it a shot. Mind blown. The desserts are good too but don’t pass up the real food. Very good. Even if it wasn’t in the airport I would visit when in Dallas.

I may try to connect my flights to the Dallas airport in the future, just to get my hands on these chocolate chip cookies. It’s seriously that good…

Gigantic cookies sitting out behind glass like a siren calling me towards the rocky shore. I have successfully resisted them the last few trips through this terminal, but not today. No sir, today, it’s cookie time. Mom always told me to not ruin my appetite with cookies, especially these beast size cookies. I ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich(well, maybe not breakfast as the eggs were zero). The croissant was perfect and not greasy stacked with over an inch of sliced smoked ham and some cheese that was white and oh so good. I also had a vanilla latte that was perfect in every way. The overall cost for said cookie(monster size), croissant sandwich, and coffee; a whopping $ 17. Yikes.

I tried the Homemade Focaccia Roasted Pepper, Basil, Mushroom, took two bites, and had to throw it away. The bread was really bad, and felt like a raw, soggy piece of dough. The toppings were so light(no roasted pepper, maybe three pieces of mushroom, and three leaves of spinach), that the only thing I could taste was the bad bread. Just my 2 cents on this particular item. I have not tried any others. At $ 7.95, I expected more.

It’s good to see a small business compete with the big shots! Whenever I have a layover in Dallas, I always make an effort to walk over here for my Peanut Butter Brownie. It is really good and super moist. Their Oatmeal cookies are also good too and huge portion! It was so good that when I was munching it while reading a book, I had a nice woman tapped my shoulder from behind and asked me where I got it! If there is one thing I’d like to share with Icebox Café, and I hope they take this as a positive constructive suggestion since I love their customer service… I hope that Icebox will improve the quality of their espresso and cappuccino… and believe me… this is coming from someone who is very passionate about his cappuccino: p… Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

Worst latte I’ve ever tasted, with a non-descript nose, cloudy water mouth feel, and sweaty gym sock finish. Quiche was way too salty. And grouchy service to top it off. $ 14 later for a quiche and latte, this place barely merits the one star I had to give it to write this review. These guys don’t deserve an espresso machine; if it’s going to be that bad, just do drip and save your customers the disappointment and lingering tailpipe exhaust after taste.

Bad bad experience. The meat focaccia is as hard as rock. The base is undercooked and the pepperoni is overdone. The coconut cake was stale with solid chunks of frozen cream. It was terrible. This café does not meet the standards to be housed in the dfw airport. Stay away!

Oatmeal raisin cookies as thick as a 4 X 8 sheet of plywood! And just as dry. On the other hand, paying $ 3.50 for a cookie in the airport says more about my desperate attempt to fill a void in my emotional life than it does about the ridiculously high price of baked goods for sale in airports. Supply and demand. The void is still there.

Every time I’m passing through the DFW airport I point this place out and say«they have really killer cookies here.» And every time, without fail, my traveling companions look at me like I’m off my rocker. Noteworthy cookies tucked away in a corner of a Texas airport?! Too good to be true. And then they try the cookies, and they get it. For those with an NYC frame of reference, they’re like Levain cookies that are just a little less blobby and a little more perfectly round. But they’re thick and chewy and if you’re lucky you’ll get one hot out of the oven. A sure fire way to make flying more bearable :)

If you get a craving for sweet baked goods in Dallas, this is the place for you! Cookies and brownies piled high along with muffins :) they are Texas sized, so bring your appetite! I had a chocolate chip cookies and PB brownie. They were both moist and tasty. I would eat here again! I can see how people could end up with an unfortunate dry one though. They’re kept in open air and likely get stale faster.

The oatmeal cookie was very dry and had a compressed sawdust taste. Not worth the expensive price of $ 3.50.

I just had the best cookie ever from this bakery. Candice and her staff was awesome, as I was walking by Candice saw the look in my eyes and she told me the cookie was FRESH! I can’t wait to take another trip so I can come back to ice box and get another yummy cookie!

Lots of goodies. Huge cookies, brownies, scones, etc at a fair price(for being at the airport). Must stop if you’re looking for that sweet something to hit the spot. I had the cream bar which was like a butterscotch brownie with white chocolate chips, and pecans. I was pretty happy munching on that on the plane. :)

This small cookies, brownies and sweet treats shop is jus one of the excellent little stops for something sweet! Price isn’t too bad considering its in an airport and the cookies are amazing! They also offer various coffees and drinks, but they’re desert offerings are why you stop here! None of that fu-fu sugar free crap, this good old cookies and brownies with countless calories in them… Just the way they are supposed to be. Always friendly staff and they never fail to try to encourage you in to getting more than what you really should. Definitely worth checking out if you’re flying through DFW! Actually met a customer today who planned a longer layover in DFW just to give them chance to swing by this place to pick something up!

Really digging the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie waiting to take off for home. I like the oversized cookies. The bakery looks clean and the baked goods all look fresh. Service is nice. I wish it had some seats so I could forget those times I’m stuck in this mediocre airport that seems to be always under construction. Overall, this is a nice place to browse and pack on the pounds.

Do not recall seeing this in the Dallas Airport before. The name makes no sense as «Ice» at least to me indicates something cold. Nope. Warm fresh muffins and cookies. This is a bakery and it smells damn good. Found friendly service and some tasty morsels to take on a connecting flight. Yeah it’s a wise choice to pick up something here and break it out on the plane when everyone else is being offered peanuts. Make everyone in the seats around you jealous for a fair price.

OHYES! Who said the airport couldn’t be fun?! In a terminal full of «common» the Ice Box stands out. Although the name doesn’t do much for what they offer, the cookies are divine. I usually get one each time I’m in the airport. I actually look forward to grabby a delicious, moist and gooey cookie. I’ve even been tempted to get two — one for now and one for the plane. Hey don’t judge! The service is quick and kind, perfect for the airport, and the prices aren’t ridiculous either. Cookies big enough you need two hands to eat them($ 3.50), Carrot Cake people write home about($ 7.50) and a list of coffe-ish dessert drinks. Do yourself a favor, stop by Ice Box and treat yourself to a divine treat!

The Icebox Café is real delight for the weary(and not so weary) traveler. I have had to fly out of A13, the gate right in front of the«café» a number of times, and its treats and coffee have lured me. The dessert case is full of beautiful cupcakes, cakes, cookies, sandwiches. Really beautiful stuff. The mental calculus begins, «Well, maybe I’ll just have a coffee. A latte. It will be a treat. Well, maybe, I’d better just have a little something sweet to go with it. Look at it. .. it would be a shame to pass it up and not try something. But I won’t eat the whole thing. We’re boarding soon, anyway.» In the end, you find yourself in a live action version of the scene in Chocolat in which Comte de Reynaud is trapped in the candy store and eats everything in sight. The carrot cake is my favorite indulgence here. The lattes are very good, too. You know, hey, your plane might crash. Wouldn’t it be a shame if your final regret was not eating one last piece of cake?
