I came on a weekday and this place is really hard to find. But they did an ok job threading for $ 12 (eyebrow and lip). Not as good as my regular place back home in L.A., but a decent start. I don’t know if I like the shape as much, it seems a little crooked where she trimmed with scissors, but she listened to my request to not take off too much and also to avoid my allergy rashes. They also give you a frequent visitors card where you get a discount after several visits.
I plan to try others in the area for comparison.

I’ve been coming to these ladies for the past 5 years to get my eyebrows threaded and have yet to be disappointed. Back in the day it only cost me $ 5 to get this dramatic makeover, today it’s $ 8 — still not too bad. They have a board up on the wall with a couple examples of the shapes they can mold your eyebrows into and they do a good job of listening to what you want, as well as suggesting something that is flattering to your face shape.
Yes this place is hidden and it’s definitely a hole in the wall kind of place, tucked in the little Pakistan/​India corridor on Hillcroft but it’s super clean! I like the atmosphere in this place too, it’s not pretentious and stuffy, and definitely not hospital-​like which I hate, hate, hate! The ladies are super friendly, funny and talkative and I love the music they play a la Bollywood! I’m not a salon type of girl in fact I’ve only been to a hairdresser once in my lifetime and that was in Poland (my mom cuts my hair and I color it myself!) Come here for great laid back service, these ladies always brighten up my day with their personalities and most importantly threading services. I always come out feeling like a rejuvenated doll!
This place is on the way home from work, I take the Westpark Tollway back into town and get off at the Fondren exit to get to Hillcroft. I like to grab a bite to eat after my beautification ceremony at either Himalaya, London Sizzler or any of the ethnic dives a stone’s throw away. Today I have my first facial appointment with Ladi, I’ll be sure to update! ;)
