I tried so hard but just couldn’t find the place. The owner from the tape shop at the same strip center told me the dance studio is closed for good. The old lady cannot teach flamingo nor can she take care of the business anymore.

I am a middle school teacher and recently contacted this dance studio to accompany my lesson on andalucia, spain and the Arab influences influences in Spanish culture. Dona Maria was so hospitable and accommodating to my group of thirty students. She and the other classmates explained flamenco history, origination of dance moves, and the various influences of the dance. Both the chaperons and the students had a great time and walked away with a better understanding of overlapping cultures and how this country allows for such«convivencia» :) a place like Maria’s dance studio not only keeps Spanish dance alive, but also educates the next generation on cultural understanding and acceptance. They also put on concerts, so go watch what Real Flamenco dancing looks like :)

I have been taking flamenco classes with Del Espadin since 2007 and I would recommend it to everyone that wants to learn this type of dance. The teaching is rigourous and authentic, but fun at the same time. With Maria and Gabriella one learns proper technique, posture, attitude, improvisation, and understanding of all the different rhythms of flamenco. The studio also provides several workshops throughout the year with visiting artists, which greatly helps the studenst to polish their style or technique, and they also organize trips to Spain to study with the masters of this art.
