Wisteria Lane® is a contract manufacturer and direct importer of quality flooring products marketed and sold at retail under this internationally registered trademark brand. Its retail business model is truly unique in the sense that Wisteria Lane retails its flooring products «Factory Direct» through its wholly owned chain of corporate showrooms. In essence, when purchasing flooring from Wisteria Lane a consumer is bypassing layers of margin built in to the retail price by the traditional flow of goods through the supply chain.

On a budget? This is the place for nice, inexpensive flooring. The staff is personable and willing to assist. Question how much moisture the engineered hardwood retains — it makes a difference in the long run. If anything goes wrong after your purchase and installation, they’ll provide assistance to remedy the issue. However after that, you’re on your own. They’ll have nothing to do with you after they have your money. And remember, you get what you pay for.

Love my flooring that I purchased a few years ago from Wisteria Lane! I recently referred my friend who was renovating her home. Her sales person Tina took the extra time to assist her with not just choosing the type of flooring but also to assist with design choices for her renovation.

My son and I were looking for flooring for our vacation rental condo. We did some comparison shopping at places that we thought would be a lot less expensive. The quality of flooring options and pricing at Wisteria Lane was very competitive. The customer service we received from Tina Marie Vincent was exceptional. The bigger stores can’t compete with that. Her knowledge and customer service is priceless. We love our new flooring! It is just beautiful and has added both value and luxury. I also want to mention easy cleaning for our Turtle Bay condo at Kuilima Estates.

I saw this store while fueling up at Costco so I stop by they have the best customer service I’ve ever seen, from the sales reps to the guys in the warehouse thank you very much we are very happy with our purchase of koa hardwood flooring. I highly recommend this company Wisteria Lane flooring to any one shopping around looking for flooring.

spent over 5 grand on the floors and cushion for a floating strand bamboo floor and no very happy with the product. the floor is very noisy when you walk on it and constantly makes crackle noises. we allowed the flooring to acclimate for plenty of time and followed all the rules for proper installation. some of the materials had bubbles in them when we took them out of the boxes as well. we haven’t finished installing them in the rest of the house so not sure how much more bubbled boards there are (these are bubbles in the finish by the way). I’m hoping to take all the defective boards back for a full refund but I’m guessing there is nothing they will do about the loud crackling when you walk on them. judging from other reviews I read, I’m sure if I question the crackling noise they will claim I have an «uneven subfloor». we really liked the people in the maui store and they were very friendly and helpful. we just wish we hadn’t spent well over 5 G’s for floor that sounds like its a hundred years old.

We had to rip out everything they laid as the product is terrible and will warp and bubble. THE SALESMAN LIED TO US. HE SAID OUR HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR THEIR KOA LAMINATE. The laminate is not sealed and absorbs moisture. Hawaii has such high humidity that it is full of moisture. When your floor swells and corners chip they will not back up the product. The SALESMAN changed his tune and said we needed dehumidifiers and voided the warranty. It’s cheap because it is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.

This is a follow-​up to Gina K’s review. This is her husband. We purchased 700 sq ft of flooring from your Kauai store on 9÷21÷2010 after first visiting your Oahu /​Honolulu showroom and speaking with an ‘expert’. The Kauai ‘expert’ confirmed the Oahu rep’s advice.
(The flooring was installed by a trusted and highly recommended contractor with 20+ years of experience.) The floor was sold to us based on looks AND the strength of the wood. Over 4 years later and, without exaggerating, we have hundreds of dings, nicks and dents throughout (many were from day 1). I just showed another contractor this trick — drop a quarter from 9 inches away and the floor dents — it’s that bad. We sent samples off to a university scientist who examined the wood. We also sent a sample to a store we dealt with in the Midwest. Both said, in their expert opinions, we didn’t get rosewood flooring. Their best guess was that we received furniture-​grade plywood with an imitation surface. The Kauai rep looked at the floor, dropped his keys to prove its hardness and created no less than 5 – 10 additional dents and scratches. He was perplexed and was certain we would get a replacement. We were only seeking a replacement and an allowance to install the replacement. We were going to cover the cost of the rip-​out (of brand new flooring). Oahu management and even ‘Steve’ (can’t recall his name at the moment) from San Diego got involved who proceeded to scream profanities at me over the phone. We eventually gave up trying. Buyer be EXTREMELY aware of this vendor. Choose ANYONE but them.

We bought our bamboo flooring about 4 years ago from Wisteria Lane. At first, we were quite happy with it. The contractor installed it and it looked great. But about 6 months later the problems began. The floor began to warp in places and would not lie flat. The contractor came back and retrimmed the edges a bit more to allow it to expand, given the moist atmosphere in Kaneohe. That fixed things for about another six months when the same thing began happening again. The contractor fixed it one more time, but the warping continues to come back. We have talked to other contractors and they have told us that they have seen similar occurrences, all in houses that have used Wisteria Lane flooring.
Although we love the look of the flooring, the warping is horrendous. We finally made the decision to scrap and replace the flooring with something different. Wish we had never gone to Wisteria in the first place!

Nightmare in Wisteria Lane !
We went to their showroom to look for wooden flooring choices but not one seemed to come and help us. They were just sitting at their desk looking bored. When we asked one store person if she could help us, she said,“We cater to the high end customers; what is your budget?” We did not know what to say since we had no idea about the prices of their various products. After staring at us for a minute, she shrugged and went back to her desk and said,“Why don’t you try Home Depot?” So we did and were not only absolutely happy with their service but also the choices offered at Home Depot. Avoid there «High end» snooty people and go to Home Depot instead. It is only a short walk from Wisteria Lane.

Tina the saleslady there is awesome and extremely helpful. She even helped me and followed through with my order on her days off. Also, conveniently located for easy pick up and loading.

I really have to thank these guys. They saved us a ton of money! How? Well, my husband went down there on a Thursday to choose flooring. He brought home 2 samples just to see which matched better in our home. Before he left, he asked the rep if he had all the materials in stock for both so when we came back the next day (Friday), we could pick up the product. He told him we were installing the floor on Saturday and needed everything ready. The rep assured him he had everything we needed.
Friday afternoon, we drove down in 2 cars to pick up all the flooring. Another sales rep sold us all the product. She also said everything was in stock. We paid just shy of $ 2,000 for everything. We pulled around to have the product loaded, and the stock guy said they didn’t have it. I seriously thought he was joking. I even said, «Ha! Good one!» He wasn’t. Evidently, they had all of it in another warehouse, which conveniently closed 20 minutes ago and wouldn’t be open until Monday.
All they said was, «Sorry about that.» Really??? That’s it? No efforts to try to make the situation better, just seemed to be par for the course that they mess up all the time, (and based on the reviews, this appears to be true).
My husband then said, «I should have listened to the reviews on Unilocal.»
Then I proceeded to yell at him. «What do you mean???» When he told me they were full of 1 and 2 star reviews, I whacked him in the arm and exclaimed, «Why in the world are we even here!?! You always gotta go by the Unilocal reviews!» That was my bad for not looking them up first. I ALWAYS trust the UnilocalERS!
We promptly got our refund and walked next door to the Home Depot. A delightful salesgirl helped us find comparable flooring, which they had in stock, and purchased it… FOR OVER $ 1200 LESS THAN WISTERIA LANE!!! It was a wonderful act of the universe. We loaded up our cars, sat in the awesome H1 Ewa bound 5:00 traffic for an excruciating 90 minutes, and installed the floors the next day.
It all worked out, but please, save yourself some time and frustration. Don’t even consider going here.

This company has the worst manager in the city of Honolulu. His name is Jay. He first sold me flooring that was broken and damaged. My delivery guy had to return it and get another color– the next color was the wrong color that I ordered… I spoke with another sale woman who told me the second color that I chose was discontinued so he gave me the closest choice… I personally went down to the warehouse and picked another color– we were to swap it out today… but it was not there in the warehouse as JAY promised… I called him several times. His voicemail has been full for a week. He finally answered and then he continued to argue with me. I asked for a full refund. He said he would do this on Monday– because none was in the office. I know for a fact that someone was in the office. So he said he would refund me immediately — which of course he has not. I am totally angry first because he has delayed my project for more than 2 weeks– he is rude and inconsiderate for all the time and gas wasted going back and forth for my delivery guy. Jay is the manager and does not communicate to the rest of his staff– he says he will take care of something and totally flakes out. I did ask for compensation off my order so he offered me 20 bucks off my underlayment — plus the only reason I asked was because the other sales woman stated he should compensate me for providing a broken product and giving me the wrong color… he made 3 horrible painstaking mistakes and does not own up to any of it.
I can only say that Westseria Lane will never get my business or money again as long as Jay is the manager and works there. As a homeowner, person, and woman– I feel Jay is lazy, unprofessional, and inconsiderate as a person and business manager. I can only hope that anyone who goes to Westeria Lane will never be treated in this way.

Limited selection of laminate styles, albeit since they make all laminates inhouse, there are styles you wont find anywhere else. The owner/​sales guy is pushy, though not necessarily rude. Still, they boast lowest prices though with dampening layer material costs and other fees, suggestion is to shop around.

We purchased flooring from Wisteria a couple years ago and were told the particular flooring would always be in stock because it was a popular one. Well… When we went back to purchase more, the design was the same but the texture was deeper, & it was slightly thicker even if it said it was the same mm’s! We spoke to the manager and was told the one we want is on the next shipment. The shipment must’ve been on the slow boat from China because they never called to say it arrived!
We finally went in to see if could get a better match with our flooring, and were told we had no choice but that is how it’s made now! Sooooo now our floors are not flushed (it’s supposed to be tongue & groove, but there’s more groove) there is a gap & it doesn’t match with the texture! REALLY disappointed with this company now, we won’t deal with them again… We wasted good money here & Will NOT recommend this place to anyone!

I usually don’t enjoy giving a bad review, but after reading other consumers outlook, I now know I wasn’t the only upset customer. The only reason I give it a star, is you can’t give a 0 star rating. And the only 1 good review is probably a friend of the business, thats how bad their service is.
We had been looking at flooring at Home Depot and Loews, and decided to check out this place. When we walked in, no one greeted us, and a guy finally said he will get to us. Well, he didn’t… So another lady did, who seemed nice, and we said what brought us in, is their «1.99 a ft» promotion.
They told us that was the cheaper product, and tried to upgrade us. We took information and left.
We usually like to buy from Home Depot because they are good with warranties and return policies, but they just didn’t have much inventory at the time and we needed flooring within a weeks time
Fast forward, after looking around, we went to Wisteria flooring, because they told us that their shipment was coming in within a few days, so we placed our order.
Well, they lied! It didn’t come in, and it would take 10 days!
The service just went downhill after that, even the District Manager Jay was a jerk.
He told us they don’t guarantee their product if its the Installer ‘s faulty workmanship, which he said, usually is and never their product!
NO accountability at all! I wanted to cancel my order so badly, but our homes flooring was already torn out, since they told us our order would be in a week prior, and a very good friend who does floors, said he would do the work, so we went ahead and did the purchase.
— We also wanted to get one extra box, in case of over cutting, and they also told us it would be non refundable, even if its unopened! Ridiculous!
I have never worked with such a Cheesy business that the employees are just as unaccountable as the management.
Do not be fooled, turn around and go to Home Depot instead and pay extra!
I will NEVER go here again, or refer anyone to go here, even if the product was 9 cents! They do not deserve it. They are rude, do not return phone calls, misrepresent, uncooperative, and just awful, awful, awful!

The main reason I give 1 star is only because the staff was so unprofessional and behaved badly. The actual product is great!
The woman who sits at the front desk has an abrasive, rude attitude. on more than one occasion, when my salesman asked her a question she nastily responded with «find out yourself!» or worse, when I was sitting in the chair by the desk and the salesman was writing up my sale, she came over and said «ok, up– get out of here, I need the desk». . he said «I’m writing a sale» and she said «do it somewhere else». . RUDE and very unprofessional to do this right in front of customers!
he and I moved to the back of the store to complete our transaction. While she sat at her desk and cruised the Internet looking at types of flooring with a customer who ended up not purchasing anything. Me? I spent almost $ 5k in there. You’d think I’d be given some consideration by the rude mama that sat at the front desk!
Next, I paid and ordered the flooring to be picked up, along with the ¼ round, transition pieces, etc. on the weekend. When we came to pick up the flooring, I was again met with her rudeness and my sales guy went out to locate my items. Well, come to find out, only the flooring had arrived and the quarter round was not there. PLUS, the transition pieces were out of stock and NOT BEING REORDERED so we had to find a «close match». . come on guys! Are you in the business of flooring??? You should have matching pieces to the floor you sell! That meant I had to make an extra trip back down there to pick up my ¼ round and the transition pieces (which are a close match, but no cigar — not happy about THAT).
Needless to say, I won’t be back, nor will I refer any of MY clientele to this place (My husband and I have a contracting business). This joint lost my business as well as others.. . they need to work on their people skills!

We purchased a beautiful compressed bamboo floor a couple of years ago. We love the floor.
The sales person was professional at first. The installers were nice. A couple of experienced and a few learning clues. I understand wood would expand with humidity, so there have to have some space at the end. I guess the inexperienced made too much space and the molding could not cover the gap. AND on rainy days, our floor expand. I believe the space probably was not enough for some parts.
We had called many times for aftercare, never had proper response.

Best priced wood flooring in Honolulu. I purchased a Tigerwood (aka Brazilian Koa) engineered floor from Wisteria Lane a year and a half ago. The 5″ wide planks from their Click Series look great, have held up well and they have solid hardwood mouldings to match.
Visit their showroom and they’ll give you some small samples if you want to see what the material will look like in your house or condo. I haven’t purchased any of their laminate flooring, but it looked like it was much higher quality then the thin cardboard laminate they sell at the big box stores.
I wasn’t sure how much extra material I’d need to account for cuts that needed to be made, so I got a couple extra boxes. Wisteria Lane will accept UNOPENED boxes for return. The problem being before you install you are supposed to open the boxes and leave them siting on site for a couple days so they can adjust to the humiditiy at the install site (so they won’t shrink/​expand too much after install). I think I opened 1 more box then I needed based on square footage and left two unopened. That turned out to be just right. You may want to do the same thing and if as you install it looks like you’re going to need more open them up and let them acclimatize. If money isn’t an issue getting a refund might not matter, but at ~$ 300 a box it was a bit of an issue for me.
