Blues Fusion Dancing in Honolulu!

Join us for a night of Fusion Dancing every Monday at the Paradise Studio. Great music, great friends and great dancing!

We are founded on jazz based dances like Blues and Swing while reaching into Latin, Modern, Lyrical, Hip-​Hop, Tango, Ballroom, and Ballet. We then sprinkle with random bits of everything and shake!

All ages welcome. All dance backgrounds welcome. First-​timers encouraged. Respect advocated. Fun suggested. Bring non-​mark shoes or socks, deodorant (easy on the perfume), and your friends!

Drop-​in fusion labs are 8−9pm (no partner or experience needed)

Dancing till 12 with Hourly DJs

History

Established in 2014.

Combining Blues, Swing and Tango as well as many other styles leads to an unforgettable dance experience. All dances are very different yet share core elements. As we explore what connects them, we can celebrate their differences to embody any mood or emotion as we connect to the floor, the music and our partner.

Meet the Manager

Zachary B.

Manager

Zac has been dancing since 2007 where he picked up Ballroom and Lindy-​Hop in Santa Cruz, California. Both quickly gave way to Argentine Tango as he joined Tangroupe, the student run Tango competition team of UC Santa Cruz. He performed, competed and taught tango for the next 5 years before falling in love with the Blues scene in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2013. Suffuse is his latest endeavor, a resurrection of the Honolulu Blues-​Fusion scene in order to inspire technique, creativity and community.
