Nashville Waikiki

Service sucked big time. We didn’t get served the whole night and we were there from 9pm-​2am. We had to keep goin to the bar to get a drink. We thought «oh maybe its because the 6 waitresses they have are slammed?» (at 9pm with about 50 people in the bar). Night grew older still no service, hmm but the tables right next to us on both sides are getting service, and frequently, what could it be? Maybe it’s because we’re not white? I ain’t racist but that’s the only thing that separated us from pretty much the entire bar. They didn’t even take the empty glasses and bottles from our table! We had to bring um back to the bar! Bunch of local braddahs can’t get no service! Maybe we were supposed to go to hooters right across. Ain’t ever coming back! WHISKEY DIX SALOON IS WERE ITS AT!!!

So this place has a great happy hour special. Happy hour 11 – 8 everyday, with any drink ranging from $ 4 to $ 6. You really can’t beat that at all. They have free dance lessons from 6 – 8 and don’t close until 2 am. They also have Mexican food, but you pay separately. Definitely check it out!

I went to Nashville Waikiki on Kuhio Avenue about a year ago with a friend and was really unimpressed. It was down a flight of stairs with no parking and service was less than mediocre. However, at their new location in Aloha Tower Marketplace, they are two huge parking lots that charge $ 5 for the entire evening.
I arrived at Nashville Waikiki around 845 to meet a bunch of friends. It is an indoor/​outdoor huge venue with pool tables, dart boards, a dance floor and a very chill outdoor area where you can mingle and not have to talk over the loud music inside. Our group met outside at a few high-​top tables. Waitress service was pretty regular and friendly. There were $ 5 Maker’s Mark and also $ 5 moonshine. I’m a whiskey drinker so the Maker’s Mark was fantastic. However, the Moonshine seemed very weak by comparison.
It’s amusing that they still kept their name Nashville Waikiki even though we are now miles outside of Waikiki. But it’s a great place to check out and hang out on a Saturday night.

Very spacious and fun! We weren’t sure we’d like it as much as the Waikiki location but it’s great! Price is right and our waitress, older with long blonde hair, was just the best ever! She kept the drinks coming and everyone had a great time! Welcome Nashville Aloha Tower!

Went there after the Lee Brice concert, and damn this place was packed! The line to get in was crazy, but we met the manager outside and she got us right in. The atmosphere is very different. Its amazing, i love Country music! Country music+beer+friends= A GOOD TIME. this was my first time there, and will be back!

Front bartender Charged me for someone else’s drinks… They took it off, but I would never have know if I didn’t ask for a detail receipt before signing!
Fun place to play pool, they got three tables! And a few outdoor seating.
Food menu is kind of boring, and my two whiskey Cokes were watery and weak… hopefully that improves.

The promo’s were good. The atmosphere was great! Our first bartender was amazing! The rest of our experience was awful! I originally was going to give it a 2 – 3 stars, but after a discovery, the rating definitely needed to be lowered. Here is why…
A group of us went to check this place out! Our first bartender was awesome! She spoke to us, checked on us frequently and shared some laughs with us! Once she left and a different bartender took over out tab it all changed. She never checked on us, seemed annoyed when we ordered drinks, and seemed as if she did not want to be there.
When we went to cash out, we were charged a high amount. This did not seem right, so we asked for a breakdown of our tab. Once we saw our tab, we saw that there were multiple drinks on there that we did not order! When we pointed this out to the bartender, she re-​charged our debit card with a new amount (before showing us the amount) It still seemed high, so we asked for a calculator. At this point she threw the calculator at us and rolled her eyes. After multiple checks with multiple people we were indeed charged the wrong amount AGAIN! We brought this to the bartenders attention and we got even more attitude. Not once during all of this did we get an apology! We were finally charged the right amount and left.
It doesn’t end there…
I found out after we left that she went to the half of the group that stayed and said «So what was the deal with your friends? They didn’t even tip me!» SO beyond unprofessional! She did not deserve a tip! I wish we would have gotten her name, and spoken to the manager!
Never again will any of us go here!

So nashville is a nice spot, have good bar games days pool. Has a dance floor and patio. Most of staff is awesome and usually has a good vibe. My only issue is that tonight I was cut off and kicked out for being tired. Yes I was drinking, on my third beer in 2 hours, but I was not making an ass of myself nor being rude to others or doing really anything. I was sitting there by dj both and was waiting on my friend whom went to restroom and rested my face apon my hand closed my eyes for seriously 20 30 secs then opened them and played on my phone. I was cut off by some waitress that was not mine that walked by in that 20 30 secs. No one came and asked me hey are you feeling alright or anything. They didn’t even screen me to see ifbi was intoxicated just take this persons word that was not interacting with me. I went out side to smoke and they would let me back in I asked them if I could get my credit card and close my tab they made me stand at front door and wait for my waitress to bring me my card and tab. I did tip her because it was not her fault and I was not rude to door people but I did feel that the whole thing was disrespectful. I hope that they come up with a better way to Handel this or go about deciding how to do it. I mean they didn’t even ask me if I was ok. If they cut me off because of my intoxication where was there concern for my saftey especially if the felt the over served me already? They didn’t try to help get me a cab or get me home just basically push me out the door like I was in there making a scene or something. I feel It was just poorly handle and I hope the work on a better procedure for this scenario my experience was very disrespectful and degrading. I guess if you work hard for a living and just work a bunch this week Friday nights nashville is not the place. Even if you want to take a cab there, not even be driving, your not allowed to have some drinks, relax, listen to music have a good time. But besides that I have never tried the food so might be good, has 3 pool table, and darts. Id recommend it to anyone, unless you work for a living then don’t go if your tired, which is odd considering it is a country bar and some country songs are about working hard…

Great music, great people. Went on a Sunday because it was the only time we could fit into our trip but still had enough people dancing and just hanging out to make it fun. Definitely wished I lived in the area to frequent this place.

Nashville Waikiki was my favorite bar at its old location; I’m happy to say the new one is even better! Located in the new renovated Aloha Tower Marketplace, the business is the first one to open after HPU’s development of the property. This area is perfect for nightlife. Already close to two other bar/​restaurants, Nashville has the distinction of being the only bar with dancing and lots of games (pool and darts).
Located on the Diamond Head side of the Mall, the entrance faces Hooters and is close to the Star of Honolulu dock. It would be very easy to get here via bus and the many tourist shuttles from Waikiki or downtown. Parking is also plentiful, although not free. This past weekend it was $ 5 flat payable on entry. The parking kiosk closes at 11:30, so entering after that time is free until closing at 2am. It’s open from 11am to 2am daily. For people on cruises disembarking from the piers, this would be a fun place to dance and drink while staying close to the ship.
The bar is much larger and more open than before. With very high ceilings, the place stays cool and airy as it’s now on the ground floor with big open windows and doors. Lots of country-​western décor lines the walls including plenty of mood lighting. Immediately inside the doors are three new pool tables. There is plenty of room for serious players and people just looking to have fun. A counter around the entire area makes it easy to find a place to put your drink, or just take a load off.
The main bar area is standing room, high top tables, and the bar. The main bar lines the entire inner wall, so it’s very easy to get service. Waitstaff also comes around frequently no matter where you are. The DJ booth is in the middle of the room, just off the large dance floor. Look for schedules of free dance classes if you really want learn. At the back of the joint is three dart boards separated from the main crowds, which is fantastic to not be interrupted nor hit anyone with a stray dart. Restrooms are at the very back; it’s wonderful how large and clean they are as well. The last area worth note is the tables outside on the lanai; it’s a great place to get some fresh air and cool down after dancing.
The staff is always friendly. The clientele is always some of most welcoming of any nightlife in Honolulu. It’s a great place to come drink, dance, or just the company of friends.

I live upstairs from this bar, and although it is close this is definitely my go-​to bar! The general floor manager is so kind and the as well as the other employees! Love that there is free line dancing lessons every night!

Horrible service horrible vibe. Huge country bar fan but this is the worst I’ve been to by far.

The old Nashville Waikiki has finally reopened in the Aloha Tower Marketplace right across from Hooters. Although my first visit there was a bit lackluster since it was early on in the reopening process, I was very pleased with my most recent visit.
The bartenders and staff members are very friendly. The new dance floor is fantastic and usually it’s not crowded at all. There are spacious areas for pool, poker, drinking, and dancing. They seem to have drink specials every night and there’s no cover charge.
There’s parking in the main lot and the lots surrounding the marketplace. Motorcycles can park free in the main lot or the coned-​off area in front of the main lot on busier nights.
They still have a few kinks to work out in the coming months, but the bar is well on its way to becoming an Oahu fixture once again.

Brand spanking new facility. Really enjoyed visiting on the third day of business and chatting with the owners Karen and Shelby and have Roxy serve me food and drinks.
Compared with the old location, place is bright and shiny. Floor to ceiling windows and waterfront dining really contrast with the basement that was the old location. food selection is somewhat limited, but went with the pastrami sandwich with chips. Apparently, Nashville normally serves pastrami with cream cheese. But since Roxy and I both agreed that mustard is a better choice, she talked to the kitchen and mustard it was.
I recognized Karen and Shelby from when they used to patronize Copy Express, where I worked many moons ago. Could not remember their names but everyone is super friendly and they were eager to talk about the new business.
Nashville is also going to resume the promotions that they had at the old locations including blackjack (for fun) and the free dance lessons. Shelby said that they may resume the bartending school later after the newness of the bar gets worked out.
Roxy also gave me one of the cards that the attractors, used to give out on Kuhio. Although, I did not ask, I doubt the attractors will be back because the new location is in a lower traffic, academic setting.
The bar is across the hall from Hooters on the Diamondhead side of Aloha Tower Marketplace. It is a little hard to find, For some reason I was expecting it to be where Bikini Cantina was, but that space is still boarded up. If I’d known I was going to be first to review, I would have taken a picture the new location is very photogenic, bright and tropical.
