Love their French bread! Been eating their bread for over 20 years, and their family bread is super good as well. Service? It’s kinda straight forward so I thought they always been good.

My sister bought whole wheat bread at St. Germains in Kalihi on Wednesday night of last week. She noticed some black spots in the middle slices of the loaf on Friday night. Today, this is what the spot turned into. So, she went back today to return it and was told she needed the receipt to exchange it. I guess they’re more concerned if we really bought it there than their quality control. Buyers beware! Make sure to take out all the slices and check before you eat them!!!
I gave them 1-​star because I couldn’t give them 0-​star!!!

My friend loves the different breads at St. Germain. So we stop in and get him something.
I do get something for myself too.
He wants some of the pastries and a sub sandwich to go with a drink.
I go for some of the pastries too with the pizza like stuffings.
I don’t understand the negative complains too much. Staff was helpful and just normal to me– local style. Get what you want and get in and get out after paying. Not too much else to say other than they have some items that you don’t normally see at a regular donut shop.

My daughter went there yesterday to buy a birthday cake. She also said they have terrible customer service. She purchased a cake for $ 20.00 and asked if they could write Happy Birthday & they said if they did the would have to charge extra. Where is the customer service here? She wasn’t asking them to decorate! Every bakery we have been to always will do this complimentary its part of good customer service. The management needs to check on this location. She also said they did not seem friendly at all! With all the other business we could go to we will not be coming here anymore.

First off this is my first and only visit. If I can give negative stars, I’ll give it (–10).I’m never coming back here again. Rude two older ladies making snarky comments. And ignoring and walking away without acknowledgement.
I’m truly overwhelmed at the thought of how this location keeps its business. By far the worse service you can get here. Beware! You’ve been warned!

I’m giving them 4stars because:
1. We bought the pizza bread and it’s mouthwatering!
2. The bear paws has a unique taste: the little sweetness with almond nut on top
3. The croissant ham and chocolate croissant taste like the croissants from Hyatt Regency in Waikiki but definitely bigger (size)
4. I had a wonderful morning eating different kinds of bread that suites well with my Hawaiian decaf coffee with cream
Visit them at Dillingham blvd. if you’re not living near downtown they have another one in Ala Moana center.
