Mutual Publishing is one of the bigger and storied local publishers here in Hawaii. They offer and publish a wide variety of books from cookbooks spanning all islands, to vibrantly illustrated children’s books, to award-​winning novels and intricately researched history books. Whatever your preference, they probably have something to whet your reading appetite.
Mutual also recently ventured into social media (Twitter and Facebook) where they do a great job keeping Hawaii’s burgeoning online community informed on new book titles, author events, and fun contests such as their recent Bento Box Cookbook photo contest.

), I have always found the staff of Mutual Publishing to be very friendly and helpful. We’ve reviewed a number of their books and will continue to read and review their rich roster of titles for (hopefully) a long time to come.

Just need to let the whole island/​world know that this is an awesome book publishing company. This is one of the last book publishers we have in Hawai’i and we need to pay extra attention in giving them our business and ohana. Where specialty books are made for Hawaiina living, specialty cook books recognizing Hawai’i’s own cuisine talents and books on various aspects of Hawai’i.
Staff is friendly and promote Hawai’i’s limited resources. Look for the Mutual Publishing label and support one of the last book publishers in a world of eBooks and low book purchases.
