Humble Country Snack Shop & Shave Ice

I tried this company at the Spartan Race and hands down the best! I loved how natural everything was and my friends and I wanted to splurge on another one, but they left. Sooo I just found out they’re located in my neighborhood, huge win for me!

Checked them out @ eat the street this past week and I can’t get over how yummy their shave ice is!
It’s the best shave ice on the island, and I mean it when I say it’s the best.
Nothing like those artificial color, or corn syrup, but it’s all organic and fresh. I can’t emphasize how delicious this cup of shave ice tasted.
It’s very different compared to what you find at Matsumoto or Shimazu. It’s not just shaved ice, it’s more like snowy fine ice, which gives it a very creamy taste.
$ 4 for the sweet potato haupia shave ice, drizzled with sweet potato syrup and condensed milk, then topped off with small cuts of sweet potato!
They have many different flavors and I can’t wait to truth to try the rest!

Been here once at their homestore and also sampled their organic handcrafted shaved ices during eat the street venues and even this summerfest at the moililibondance. I’m telling you, one of the best shave ices to have. Before even when I was a kid. I’ve never been able to finish all the shave ice because it melted so fast or because of excessive sweetness from the artificial flavoring. But this shave ice is something different. For one their stuff is not too sweet, it’s a perfect combination of fine ice which doesn’t melt too fast and you can’t go wrong with organic. I can’t explain it, but it’s so perfect that I can’t get enough. I’ve had three of their flavors and I finished all of it. Just one thing though before you order, make sure you have your phone with you so u can play games or do the social media stuff because it takes awhile for them to make. But that says something of their specialty, because they really take the time and work hard to handcraft their product, which is really outstanding. Thumbs up!!!

The place is simple & so is their platform– the owners are down to earth & definitely humble. I love the fact that there are no artificial colors or flavors in their shave ice syrups. I can feel confident giving myself & my daughter (who’s sensitive to artificial colors) a tasty cool treat that has good stuff. It doesn’t get better than handcrafted organic fruit syrups. I’ve been there quite a bit since summer is upon us, it’s close to home for us & very convenient to grab something on the healthier side after dance class or if we’re in the neighborhood. I have yet to try their food but know the shave is good. I’ve had strawberry (without the cream), mango & lychee so far & all are tasty leaving me wanting to return to try more flavors. On top of their syrups being organic, their condensed milk is too! It’s so nice to know there’s a healthier alternative now to something Hawaii is pretty famous for. They’ve only been open about 2 weeks and are working on expanding. I will definitely be back & will enjoy seeing the business grow as well as checking back in & writing updates.

Stopped here on my way to do some errands! Nice little shop. They are cash only for now, and there aren’t any tables. The sandwich was a great snack and I enjoyed the ice cold coconut! I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!
