Lush Lounge

This bar is a good bar to hang out, it’s clean and a classy one, unlike other bars I have been to. If you get a chance, you have to try their fish bowl, that is the only drink i drink. They are so friendly! The bartenders are very knowledgeable and nice, they know what is good. The owner is so lovely, she invited me to a private event after having a couple of drinks at the bar. I will come back here for five reason
1) they make me feel special
2) very hygienic for a bar
3) special price alcohol
4) friendly staff
5) great music

If you were a fan of Romantei, you’ll like Lush Lounge much better. New staff, new décor, and the same awesome old-​school Boda kitchen with delicious Vietnamese grinds.
Bánh Mì ($ 6) — The lovely baguette with Vietnamese-​style meat, garnish and veggies. I love mine with EXTRA chili peppers. ;)
They have other stuff on their menu that are definitely worth a try, like the Cubed Beef (with extra chili peppers), but the sandwich is my regular go-​to thing.
Anyway, I’ll get to writing about the hostess and bar aspects of the place, since it’s a hostess bar with a kitchen and not the other way around.
Service is super on it and they’re not overly pushy.
If you’re a longtime hostess-​bar-​hopper, you may recognize the faces of a lot of the workers. A couple of my favorite servers, Lau and Troy, have made their way over to Lush Lounge. In smutty bars like this, it’s hard to find such hardworking and trustworthy servers who won’t short-​change the customer.
And in terms of girls, they’ve got some solid bartenders.
In short, Lush Lounge is worth a peek. If you don’t like what you see, at least you can have some awesome (late night) Viet grinds.
