Lumière Visuals Hawaii is a Photography and cinema studio based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. Our specialties include commercial, event and portraiture projects, with an emphasis on flexible and personable client interaction.

We are a collective of photography and cinema professionals who emphasize above all else, a clean, stellar, and unparalleled final product that sets our clients apart from the pack.

History

Established in 2014.

Sean Michel started Lumière Visuals Hawaii in mid 2014, during his experience in the Honolulu photo/​video community. Wanting to focus on a different sort of media execution, Sean decided to push for 35 mm and Medium format film commercial driven projects. His obsession with clean lines, black and white, and creative pre and post production concepts lead him to the creation of Lumière.

Business Owner

Sean was born in Nancy, France, in 1987. French was his first language. He was raised in New Jersey, and moved to Hawaii to attend school at UH Manoa, where he graduated with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and French Language and Literature. He is also a managing member of Pure Media Hawaii, LLC.
