Misleading. This is NOT Goldilocks. Just a manila express shop that resell onsies or twosies of goldilocks products. If that constitutes being called Goldilocks, then my family should be called distributers as when we have visitors frim the mainland or from Philippines, they bring us Goldilocks stuff.

I wanted to have a dessert at NEX food court and Gldilocks was the only place I haven’t had tried so far, so I decided to give it a shot. The girl at the booth was very nice and she gave me extra cups as soon as she found out I was going to share my halo halo with someone else. Ube ice cream and Azuki bean on top were both great. The problem I had with my halo halo was the shaved ice part in the middle was all too frozen… It was just a huge chunk of ice and not edible. I really wanted to eat the jellies on the bottom too but was unable to reach it because of the iceberg. The problem is that they make the shaved ice before hand, put in a cup with jellies on the bottom and store in a freezer. That’s why it gets so icy… I understand it is a small food stand and they can’t really make everything fresh but I wish it was at least edible.

Sometimes I make trips to the NEX just so I can get a halo-halo from here. You would too, if you knew how delicious it is! I no longer need to drive all the way to Waipahu to get my halo-halo fix. That refreshingly cold & sweet cup of shaved ice, mixed with condensed milk, all kinds of jellies & beans, topped with ube ice cream & flan? ! Omg! I want one now! Hahaha. Anyway, I haven’t tried their food or anything besides the halo-halo, so I can’t speak for that. But if you’re ever at the NEX, you should stop by the food court & get yourself a halo-halo. You won’t be disappointed.

Theres only one thing I come here for. Its the halohalo. Tiny little shop located in the NEX food court. They have some other food items that are not really appealing to me or maybe I just dont know what they are. Maybe Ill try them next time and update this review later. But for now, you cant go wrong with the halohalo. The generous amount of stuff they put in it is really satisfying. I wouldnt drive out of my way for it but, when Im in the immediate area, theres no stopping me from getting one. Sitting in the outside lanai enjoying this wonderful desert always brings a smile to my face.

Location: They are located in the food court next to the second floor entrance of the Navy Exchange. Product: They offer Goldilocks baked goods, Filipino seasonings, Halo Halo and Sugot Galaman. There Halo Halo was great! I HATE beans in my Halo Halo and I was glad there wasn’t any beans in it. The leche flan in the Halo Halo tasted very good. The Halo Halo is great for sharing with two people. Price: The Halo Halo was $ 5.24 after tax. I thought the price is pretty average for Halo Halo. Overall, I would recommend this place for dessert or to anyone looking for Filipino goodies.

$ 5 for halohalo — and it’s good halohalo. no beans, just jello and those jelly nuts… I dunno what they’re called. they also offer a variety of other GOLDILOCKS item as well as Filipino goodies(mama sitas, coffee, magnolia). sometimes they won’t sell ube ice cream(single/double scoop) if they are running low on ube ice cream because they«save it for halohalo orders»

Hands down the best halo halo in town. Leche Flan is to die for! If an ice cream parlor wants the recipe for the halo halo then you know it’s really good. I haven’t personally tried the rest of the goodies because I always end up buying halo halo everytime.

This is just a counter kiosk at the Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange food court that carries Goldilocks products. It’s not a true bakery. I asked an employee about it and she said they get their shipments from California. Well, I got food poisoning from having one of their ensaymadas! Ensaymadas are made with dairy products like butter and cheese, which are perishable. But, rarely will you see ensaymadas refrigerated in the store. Also, there is no date stamp on the packaging. So who knows how long the products have been sitting out. You don’t need a military ID to shop at the NEX food court, only for the Navy Exchange and commissary. Whatever you do, please don’t get the ensaymadas!

If we are checking out the Navy Exchange, stopping at the Manila Asian Shop is a give in. When I take the escalator up to the 2nd floor that’s the first thing that I see. This shop sells all sorts of Filipino tasty treats. From cookies, cakes, breads, candy, chips, halo-halo, and more. They only take cash, but there is an ATM on the same floor or several outside of the Navy Exchange. I always ask if they have fresh pastillias. The candy is soft, extra smooth, creamy and rich in taste. The milk and sugar are boiled together until thickened, then cooled and formed by hand into little mini-logs that are often rolled in more granulated sugar before they are individually packed in cellophane and paper. You have to have a sweet tooth to like this(not everyone likes it). The owner told me it has to be fresh so that’s why they don’t carry it all the time. It’s actually flown over from the Philippines. When ever they do carry it I buy at least 2 packages of it. One to share and the other as my own personal stash. Another treat that I like from this shop are the Polovoron. It’s similar to the shortbread but it doesn’t have a cookie texture. They come in different flavors. I like the plain flavor or the ube flavor. I used this as a favor at my wedding. My guests told me they really liked it. They have a good assortment of different flavored cakes. I wish they would sell them by the slice so I could try them all. I have only tried the cake rolls. They are smaller then the typical round cake. It’s a sponge cake filled with different filling and icing to form a log. I have tried the Mocha and Ube flavor. Which a both a big thumbs up? My son likes the snacks that they offer. His favorite are the garlic flavored Bawang cornick garlic flavored, vinegar flavored chicharrón, and the Nagayara adobo flavored cracker nut. I’m sure this cute little shop will satisfy your munchies or sweet tooth.

A whole mess of different filipino desserts and snacks here. They even expanded a little since they first opened and have a small fridge with tocino in it. I shared a halo halo with my friend. I think the best part of it was the ube ice cream. I’m pretty sure it was the magnolia brand, which I like very very much. I think the blend itself was a bit too icy and needed more condensed milk though. Polvoron, cracker nuts, tostada, ube rolls, mamon, ensaymada, hopia… goes on and on. We totally need a full fledge goldilocks though. If that franchise is done right, it’ll hit really big, because no offense to golden coin, but it ain’t a chow king or goldilocks.

Where else can you buy delicious filipino goodies without ever having to leave the island??? Mention the name«Goldilocks» and heads will turn. Everyone knows of them. After years of seeing them in the Philippines, California, and Vegas, I discovered the Goldilocks kiosk in the Navy Exchange food court area(2nd floor). Hallelujah! They have polvoron, ube rolls, regular and cheese mamon, regular and cheese ensaymadas, hopia, and lots more… For all you die hard filipinos, they recently added Red Ribbon to their kiosk area, so be sure to check them out. If not, then more for me!!! :)

Yummy if you are looking for filipino pastries. They carry Goldilocks which is hard to find on Oahu. They are located in the food court of the Navy Exchange.
