It is a school and you may hear outside noise as it is next to a bathroom. There are 4 tables separated by curtains. No, it is not Heaven on Earth but the price is heavenly. I had major shoulder knots and they were worked on. The students just need hours and really do know what they’re doing. If you’re looking for a therapeutic massage with no frills, come here.

Great rates! Therapist are polite and outgoing. I paid $ 31.41 for an Hour. Lets keep in mind it is a school not a spa. I didnt mind how the rooms where made.

Making appointments are normally very easy. Everyone is friendly and professional. The place is clean and not too hard to find. The only thing is that it s very noisy each time when the restrooms get occupied. If the shopping center can replace the power hand dryer with just paper towels… it d help a great deal.

Just got done with a 1.5 hour massage at the school. Wow! Staci Kubo was incredible. So good I slipped into a sleep coma a few times. Felt bad because she probably thought I was dead or something. It was so relaxing and you could tell these students are getting great instruction!
Considering it’s a school one should not expect a spa setting with all the bells and whistles. The school is one room sub divided by curtains and is next to a restroom which can get loud at times. Knowing this coming in, I brought my headphones so it wasn’t too bad. Staci was able to accommodate with no problems. I will definitely be back!

Just had a 90 minute massage and I feel so incredibly relaxed! Jensen did an amazing job! I often have tension in my back and but he was able to massage it so well that I feel super relaxed now! They definitely know what they are doing!
I have been to other massage schooling the mainland before and while they were not bad, they were nothing compared to this one! The students are so much better trained! Can 100% recommend their massage services!
As other reviews have mentioned, it is next to a bathroom and only curtains separating, but the outside noise didn’t really bother me. Other clients that keep talking loudly can be way more distracting! So please be courteous to other clients that try to relax and try to tone it down.

Just finished a one hour massage, and I basically feel like my physical body doesn’t exist! My muscles feel relieved and I am completely relaxed. Because my job is physically demanding & very stressful, I’m often tense and constantly suffering from shoulder pain.
I’m very shy and modest when it comes to being touched. This was my first time getting a massage and being receptive to being topless. I’ve toyed with the idea of getting chiropractic work done, but have been leaning more towards massage since I have a lot of nerve damage from a previous ailment.
After just finishing a 3day event for work, working close to 20 hours each day, I desperately needed to show my body some love. Elite massage academy was the vessel & I am sooooo going back in a few weeks! My body feels so much lighter than it did when I went in, and I can’t wait to continue the healing process.

Had to come back for 2^nd time and may be one more time before going back home. Everyone here’s great! Greeting with smile and I had two different therapist students they both were excellent! I felt asleep both time definitely will come back if i come to visit Hawaii again and will recommend this place to everyone

Giving this place the full Monty. Here’s why:
Parking galore and a convenient location.
Clean and comfortable massage table. I’ve been to more expensive massage studios with tables that are not as comfy. The face cushion was nice and soft, as was the table. Sheets were clean.
Organic and yummy smelling lotion used in the massage.
I got an apprentice named Guy who was ‘The Man’. He had really good pressure and technique and seemed pretty in tune with my muscles, focusing rubbing and pressure on sore spots. He was very professional, and gave a better massage than people I’ve paid 2x as much to. He was very attentive and adjusted technique and pressure as I requested. He even gave my feet some reflexology. And a hand massage!
Easy availability to book a session– I was able to get any time I wanted on a Saturday when I called 1 week in advance. They’re also open on Sunday’s which is nice.
As reviewers mentioned, it’s not the Ritz. There are curtains to separate the tables. My tip– BYOM– Bring Your Own Music. I enjoyed a deep house mix from Robot Heart and was put in a trance. No sounds from the other table to disturb my Zen.
If you have the iCard, a 1 hour apprentice massage is $ 26!!! I kid you not. $ 32 without.

$ 30 for a one hour massage! Yes, this is a massage academy and the therapists are not yet licensed, however the therapists here have already completed their training, and they just need hours in order to get their license. What this means for you and me, is that we are able to get a quality massage for half the price!
Located on the second level of the Ward Warehouse, the space is small and simple, with 3 – 4 stations separated by sheets. It is very clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable for a relaxing massage. Booking is easy via phone, and for the couple times that I went, I was able to get an appointment within 15 minutes.
This is a great place to try if you love massages but don’t want to break the bank getting them often. I highly recommend it!

Elite Massage Academy !!! It’s been i very long time since i step into this school/​clinical academy. Most fun, down to earth FUTURE Student LMTs you’ll EVER MEET ! They know what they are doing since they practice and train, once youre in the room they’ll tell you exactly what to do, respect you, and most importantly LISTEN to you, if you have SPECIFIC place you want to work on they will exactly do it, thats the main focus so they could satisfy their clients. RECOMMEND to go here for a very cheap but awesome relaxing massage and customer service, TRUST me you’ll leave out the door happy !!! :]
And yes they do accept Cash/​cards/​iDcard. Free parking !!! And after a massage you could relax, go shopping, eat. Just remember THEY are students, but they will do their best !

I’ve come here twice now and am already planning on coming back on a regular basis. For $ 30 plus tax (I planned on $ 40 with tip), it is an excellent value for an hour long massage. I brought cash — but they do take cards for services only — must leave cash for tips.
They’re on the second level of Ward Warehouse, mauka side next to the conference rooms. Ample free parking!
The ambiance is simple, as it is a training environment (read the other recent Unilocal reviews if that matters to you), but I just happened to come during slow times so there were no outside interruptions (voices, phones, toilets, etc…) so I felt extraordinary relaxed. Both of my experiences were great.
I was less comfortable (in my head) the first time, so I felt shy asking for more/​less pressure and advising the therapist what was really working for me. I had an excellent massage, but knew I needed to communicate more next time. Which is exactly what I did and I’m so glad!
My second visit was just a couple days after my first. I felt no embarrassment stating that my lower back is very tender and my upper back/​shoulder/​neck muscles are where I hold my stress and are really the reason for my visits. I appreciated that she was so good about working extra hard on my painful/​knotty/​tight areas and avoiding my tender ones. What a relief as I left feeling as if I am making good progress.
They use a really nice natural, no fragrance lotion rather than oils so I felt moisturized, but not slippery or gross afterwards — so I was ready to go to lunch and resume my day! That was epic!!!
I will be back several more times in the coming weeks — alternating between new therapists and the last one (Shiori) until I’m feeling better.
Don’t hesitate trying this place out — especially if your medical benefits do not cover massage therapy! I am relieved I have found Elite Massage and wish I would have come here much sooner…

They are now located at Ward Warehouse, 2^nd level, by the conference rooms, entrance door is right next to the women’s restroom.
That means free parking and a better location (at least for me)!
It’s $ 30 for a 60 minutes massage with an apprentice and it’s $ 25 if you use your iDcard.
Now with that in mind don’t expect a true spa setting. The «rooms» are curtained off and the curtains don’t reach the floor. You will hear everything that happens in the other «rooms» and you will hear the toilet flushing. You will also hear the phone ringing and the register if someone happens to be checking out.
But for $ 30, it’s worth it! The therapists that I’ve tried so far have all been really good (I’ve tried 4 different ppl so far) and have put me to sleep so the noises haven’t bothered me.
This is my go-​to massage place now!

I’ve been here on 3 separate occasions and had 3 different students and I liked all 3. Since it is a school the setting isn’t what’s usually offered at the Spa, however, for $ 30 an hour its definately worth it. Since they are so affordable I will be getting massages with them at least once a month. They do run deals on their facebook and they accept the iDcard so you may end up paying even less for a massage. If you haven’t been here I’d suggest trying them out.

As a sponsored athlete at Elite Massage I really look forward to having the students give me a massage, Brian is a awesome teacher and friend. I bench press competitively all over the United States, and Elite has kept me on top of my game.
I highly recommend massage for all competitive lifters to keep your muscles relaxed and pliable, you will get less pain and soreness when you get close to competitions.

FYI: they moved! They’re now in Ward Warehouse, a lot easier to find parking (free = good). Like the other reviewers said, this is not a fancy spa. It’s a place for students to accrue hours for their licensure. Their new space is divided by curtains into 4 treatment areas. It’s clean, simple, bright, and they have soothing music playing in the background. Yes you can hear the other clients and therapists talking, but everyone tries their best to speak softly. They are friendly and accommodating, and they squeezed me in on the same day that I called. Unlike other massage schools, with this one, you can call days ahead to schedule an appointment. They provide all sorts of massages, $ 30/​50-​minute ($ 25 if you have ID Card), take credit cards or cash. What a great deal! Debbie worked with me, and man, she got strong hands. I’ll definitely return soon.

I definitely recommend this place. Elite Massage Academy is a training environment. For $ 30/​hr you get a better than average massage from a student that has learned at least 3 different styles. They are well versed in Swedish, Shiatsu and Lomi-​lomi. Most are even able to perform sport massages and deep tissue very proficiently. If you tell them exactly what your problem areas are, the students do a great job on dealing with those issues. Most students are there for at least 9 months, so once you get comfortable with a student, they can become sort of your personal masseuse. I suggest trying 2 – 3 different students before settling on one. Appointments are not necessary but if you’re on a time crunch it may best to make an appointment a day or two in advance.
While the ambience may not remind you of a spa, just remember that you’re not being goughed for $ 75 or more for a massage either. Even a massage with one of their LMTs (license massage therapists) is great. Many of the LMTs are instructors at the school as well and very comparable if not better than most LMTs at spas that I’ve been in. A perfect treat day for yourself would be to get a 1 hour massage then enjoy dinner or drinks at Hooters or Gordon Biersch.

For those of you who know a little bit about massage you know that how often you get work done is more important for things like chronic pain or occupational injury and deep tissue for body builders, than how perfectly it’s done. So I can really appreciate the value of a place like this because the lower price means I can come back more often when I have a bad day or pull a couple double shifts at work that leave me stiff and injured. Getting work done more often is good for sports enthusiast too.
Even though some of the worker’s here are just students there is a certain level of professional oversight with the instructors that means you can count on a decent baseline of quality which is good for a place that has to give you a disclaimer at the door.
I went with a friend on a walk-​in basis and I think doing this worked out to our advantage because he got to spend time with the instructor who worked on his neck and I got some work done on my calves and ankles by one of the students.
The teacher gave my therapist a little bit of instruction to get her going in the right direction and then went to work on my friend. My therapist did some good shiatsu work on my calves, ankles, and feet, and even threw in some different techniques of her own from what the instructor mentioned. I wish she would have branched out on her own a little more because when she was doing her own thing it was really great and relaxing. However it did the trick and at a price that I think I can come by more often for.
At the very least, if you have 20 $ to spend and some free time it’s worth it to check it out and roll the dice. You might be surprised.
Edit: I wanted to mention that if you get embarrassed about massages but you always wanted to try it out that this is a good idea because it’s short and sweet. Just make sure if you are getting a shorter one to tell them a specific area to work on. This ensures a higher quality experience on that target area for your money.

the place was nicely lit and clean. I had a few knots in my shoulders I had intended them to work on, but it didn’t sound like there was an option when we started. She gave a Swedish type of massage which was great, because i dosed off a couple of times. it was extremely relaxing.
after, we found out that we could have asked for different types of massages, ie: shiatsu, lomi lomi, etc… but the first experience was good enough. we’ll be back and will ask for more what we are looking for and hopefully, update with a positive experience.
