The staff wasn’t attentive at all. Had to repeatedly go to the bar for my drinks, while the waiter sat on a stool playing with her phone. This place would be a prime candidate for the TV show«Bar Rescue». Food is good. Oh Yea… the karaōke system is horrible.

Café Bronco is not what you expect it to be. I came here on a Wednesday and there were a couple of people there.(Didnt expect it to be super packed) Walking in, this place was a dark place with bar seating and a few tables. We were greeted right away and the staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. I really liked how it was like a hole in the wall type of feel and nothing pretentious like some bars in the touristy, Waikiki areas. I first took notice of their happy hour(pretty good happy hour deals every day of the week and they last until 8PM!) I just ordered my go to Blue Moon and when I heard karaōke, it was nothing like what I would imagine it to be like back at home. Back at home, you go with a few friends and get a private room to sing, drink and eat. That was not the case at all at Café Bronco, but I almost preferred it this way. You get a little sheet of paper and write down 3 songs you would like to sing and you sing in front of EVERYONE. Your friends and strangers. You get to take turns hearing other strangers sing and I feel like this is how it should be done. I had a lot of fun here and I will definitely be back. Its a great place to go with a few friends and just drink, eat(didn’t have the food but I hear its pretty good), sing and have a good time. Again, Staff there are so friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back my next I visit the island.

I’ve only stopped in once and the experience overall was meh. It’s not BAD, but it could be a lot better. The food range from Meh to GOOD. I had their sizzling Kal Bi platter, some edamame and a chicken quesadilla. The Kal Bi is really good, great flavor, tender, good mix of veggies as well, which is unusal for kalbi, but worked well. The edamame was plain and could have used some salt or something, the quesadilla was a quesadilla… pretty boring. I’m told their burger is pretty dang good too. The issue with the food is that it is overpriced IMO. I believe the Kal Bi was about 18 dollars, it’s worth about 12 as a pupu in a bar. For 18, I can get a full Kal bi plate with sides at somewhere like Kyungs. Everything else seemed equally overpriced for what you get. Drinks were meh. They severed my crown and diet in a tall glass, but I don’t think it was a double, and the soda was flat in all the drinks. I think my total was in the $ 50 range for 2 drinks, and 2 pupu’s(someone else paid for the quesadilla). Overall I wasn’t impressed, I may give it another shot as some friends like it, but I’m in no rush.

The place is divey, but the kalua pig quesadilla is excellent. Ahi Poke was not the best I’ve had, but by far not the worst. And only $ 10 for a ½ lb. ! The staff is very friendly. We had an excellent time!

Pretty good food. We had the Juicy Burger and Chili Burger and both were pretty tasty and reasonably priced. No beers on tap but a decent selection of bottles. The place is nice and the service was great. It seems like they’re just getting things going as far as the interior, but it was a good experience overall.

Awesome and very welcoming place to hang. Aunty Chyna thank you for your wonderful service. Killer food — Burgers, Beer battered mushroom, Kalbi Stir Fry, Apple Carmel Bacon with house salad dressing in a bed of greens. Chef Rob awesome food and samples. We will be back. Moloka’i TITA and Braddah.

Juicy Burgers, Toss Salad with Honey Mustard Vinegarette, Penne Pasta and Garlic Bread is what we had for lunch. Thanks to Ernesto and Dr. Jay. The penne was cooked to perfection. Al Dente. Just enough sauce to coat the pasta. A must try. The sauce goes perfectly with the soft garlic bread. A must try. How often do you eat homemade hamburger patties? And when you do is it juicy and tasty?. Our office had the pleasure of indulging in deluxe hamburgers. No mayo on this burger, the buns were coated with a secret sauce which we could not figure out what it was but yet it was so tasty. Fresh veggies is always a plus when eating burgers, might I add the veggies were fresh and crisp. We enjoyed the food so much that our staff is planning a get together at Broncos.

Went to Bronco last night to catch the UH game. Was looking forward to pastele, gandule rice, poke, fried chicken and all the other Ono foods but more anymore!!! Even the French fries were not the same… I’m very sad… Still great waitresses/servers though!

These folks are true Hawaiian friendly. What a great little local spot. If if you want a great burger, with«juice dripping down your elbows» — their slogan, this is the place. The owner told me it is a 24 hr process to make their burgers this good. And quite frankly I just love friendly people! And there are a lot of them here!

Love the Pastel Stew & Gondule Rice here!!! Their bacon wrapped asparagus is also a deal! The owner and bartenders are also upbeat and very nice! Only recommendation would be to light up the place lunch time.

Casual hang out type of environment. Karaōke for a $ 1 per song can’t go wrong. It would be better if song selections were listed by artists instead of title it would make setup for faster findings… The bottle beer is a good deal, and lihing mui Margarita are usually great!!! Kitchen issues to be aware of… Tuesday & Wednesday food is limited, but the rest of time… fried chicken and bacon wrapped asparagus is the bomb…

I went to Broncos the other day with a couple of friends… Of course you expect the same — karaōke — drinks — food — etc… I was a bit wee surprised because the vibe was great… It was a lil low key because it was only 130ish in the afternoon but really enjoyed it. I would defintely come back and reccomend this bar to many others.

I purchased a coupon from on 12÷20÷12 and finally had the opportunity to use it. However when I presented it — they said«sorry — we stopped accepting these 8 months ago» uhhh… excuse me? It’s only 5÷4÷13… Oh well, we decided to stay because other Unilocalers said«the Pastele Stew & Gandule rice were so ono!» Well, it was good — but I wouldn’t die for it(we needed more spice). It didn’t help that it came out«warm» — suffice to say — we’ve had better. We also ordered the ribs(recommended too) the sauce was good but the meat was tough — very dissapointed. The place was nice and dark, plenty of seats and i’m sure if i was drinking — once the Karaōke got going it would be fun but if you’re going there to just eat — i wouldn’t recommended it.

Sista Jenn’s Pastele Stew with Gandule rice was sooo ono! Not too peppery hot or salty as some can be. Can wait to try some of the other things on the menu like Auntie Emp’s Southern Fried Chicken, Papa Ellis’s Hamburger Steak Plate with da Ono Gravy, and Lauren’s World Famous Ribeye! Very good selection of spirits also including Knob Creek RYE!

My Husband’s favorite spot :) The only Karaōke Bar I know of that serves GOOD food. I couldn’t drink due to my pregnancy with my Son, so I asked for a menu. I looked at the menu and said WOW! They don’t only serve the average small pupu menu of most Karaōke bars I know of. Good vibes and spacious. My husband and I take a liking to sitting at the bar. Love this place!

I haven’t been to Bronco in awhile. Went to catch the football games. Ordered the poke, pastele stew, pork chops, and bacon asparagus(all excellent.) I would give it five stars if parking was a little better, but that’s out of Bronco’s control. Cannot go wrong at Bronco!

When I’m craving Pastele Stew, and I don’t feel like cooking, this is where I go! I’m never disappointed and the stew has the perfect flavor, texture and heat. If you’re like me, and enjoy a bit of Jagermeister, it’s always on special here!

KALIHIBAR Café Bronco is located in Kalihi on Colburn St. It might be hard to find if it’s your first time, but it’s nearby the Kalihi Foodland, Burger King, Savers, and that whole shopping-eatery complex off Dillingham. If you’re driving in the Ewa direction down Colburn St., Bronco will be on your left. Parking is a little scarce in their immediate lot, but there’s a decent amount of street parking. REGULARS Bronco is definitely off the beaten path, so it’s interesting to see how many regulars they have.(They must be doing something right!) Uhh, there’s definitely an older crowd, so don’t go there expecting to pick up any hot chicks just out of college or anything… PARTY-FRIENDLY Bronco is definitely party-friendly for many reasons: 1. the size of the place — not too small, not too big 2. the food — AMAZING
2a. ridiculously generous portions 2b. the wide variety 2c. the unbelievable prices 2d. sinfully delicious 3. karaōke — guaranteed to entertain 4. alcohol — it’s a bar! 5. friendly service — more towards regulars. So if you’re partying with some regulars, good for you! I’ve been here for a couple parties, and did not want to leave! The food was plentiful and we had leftovers galore! Seriously, look at my pictures. Tempura, kalbi, crab legs, shrimp, sashimi, steamed fish, and the list goes on… I can’t wait to go to another party here; maybe I’ll have my next birthday party here!
