Only one word comes to mind «Rip-​off».
I was quoted a price for a torque converter for my pick-​up. I agreed, and the next day rented the required jack for the job and purchased my supplies. And went down to the shop and picked up the converter.
Went home and started the job only to find the splines did not match up. Traveled back to shop and was told they would special order anew converter for an extra charge of $ 100.
Next day they say part came in, drove down and had to wait 45 minutes for part to come out from back of shop. When he brings it out it had just been spray painted and was not the new converter agreed upon.
Not only did I loose out on the rental fees for the jack, but I lost all trust and respect for the owner who told me not to come back. What goes around comes around.

I had some work done on my 4Runner in August. The crew at All Trans was incredible. I have recommended everyone I know that they take their vehicles in to see them.

What a great place where trust and quality go hand in hand. Their diagnosis on my truck was on the money. Completely reasonable prices and work done when they said it would be done. Definitely a keeper!

A couple of weeks ago I took my 1999 Ford Escort in to get a free diagnostic check with All Trans because my car was jerking and sputtering when I tried to accelerate. I don’t know much about cars, but they did the diagnostics and gave me a printout report of what was wrong with my car.
Jen (ny?), the receptionist and office manager, is quite knowledgeable about cars, and was very helpful. She has a good sense of humor, yet she is serious and cares about her work and service. Anyway, she gave me an estimate of about $ 3,000 to rebuild the transmission and also tuneup. So, I took the car home to think about whether I needed to buy a new car or try to fix this old one.
Last Wednesday, I brought my car back in because I decided to keep the car and would chance fixing it and hope I can drive it a few more years. Brian, the mechanic, drove me home and for the next couple of days they worked on my car until they finished it Friday afternoon.
So far, the car is running much better, and if it continues to run this way for a few more years, I will be very satisfied and happy. They also found a leak in one of the pipes/​hoses, which they fixed for free labor, and just charged me for the parts. They ordered the part and a few days later, I took it back in and they fixed it in a couple of hours.
It’s hard to find trustworthy people who do a good job. So, I would recommend you go see them if you have a problem with your transmission.

poor customer service! based on the previous reviews, I tried to email them on their website to get a quote. I requested a quote 3 times in a month. never got a response. I tried calling and got a pretty rude receptionist, lady with a Filipino accent. I asked about why I didnt get a response via email she said she didn’t get the email request. so I suggested that maybe their website doesn’t work, and she got defensive. she then said I need to bring the car in for a quote, so I said if your website says you can request a quote via email, why do I need to bring my car in. why can’t you give me a quote over the phone? she said we don’t do that. so I said then why have that option on your website? she had nothing to say. idiots.
most shops have a service labor book that has a estimate time/​price to service cars. don’t know why they don’t have this or use it. all I wanted was a basic trans service (fluid flush and filter change). how hard is that!?! i was planing on taking my 2 cars there. well I guess it all take my business and refer my family and friends to another shop. oh wells.

All Trans absolutely deserves 5 stars & 2 thumbs up. I would give them more stars & thumbs, but I’m at the limit. First called in & spoke to a lady named Jenny, who by the way is super nice & an absolute sweetheart! She likes to joke around with customers, which I think she has found to be a good thing to do because of the potential cost associated with a new or rebuilt transmission. Anyway, I told Jenny that I was thinking about brining my car down to their shop, to which she replied that if I do that I should call before I come down because she wanted to make sure someone was available to see me when I got there. A+ for that Jenny!
When I got there, Jenny explained the process to me, as I filled out a little bit of paperwork. She then called for customer assistance. Michael (who is the owner) came over, greeted me & introduced himself. I instantly felt comfortable with Michael, as to me he just has that look of a guy I can trust. I ended up having to leave my car overnight, as he was having problems scanning my car for the problem.
The next morning, I get a call from Jenny, who had the unfortunate task of breaking the bad news to me. $ 2800 — $ 3000. I already had in my mind that the cost would be in that neighborhood, if in fact the problem was the transmission. After picking myself off of the floor, I went to pick up my car, as I had a decision to make. Repair it or buy a new car. We shall see.
I told Jenny that I was new to Unilocal,but that I would certainly give a 5 star review & mention that she was a sweetheart. I’m a man of my word.
Jenny & Michael, thank you so much for your professional & caring assistance. I really appreciate how comfortable both of you made me feel. And Jenny, I wrote it in the first paragraph, but you deserve a second mention. You are an absolute SWEETHEART! Thank you once again.

We are a Towing company. So we had our trucks fixed at other shops before. Our flat bed transmission gave out on us. Having a towing company the longer the trucks are out of service the less money we make. At other shops that we have taken our trucks in before took months to fixed, but when we took our flat bed tow truck in to All Trans. They surprised us and made us a very happy customer when they estimated it to be finished in 3 days, and they actually finished it and got our truck back in 3 days.
I am very satisfied with the customer service they had given me. Especially Jenny at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Explained the job to us very clearly. If I ever need my others trucks transmission rebuild. this would be my new shop of choice… THANK YOU All TRANS…

Stop searching and bring your car here! I’ve had work some work done over the years on my ’05 Matrix. The friendly team lead by Jenny and Mike are the easiest to work with — super friendly and customer-​focused. I have complete confidence in their technical expertise — the work is super fast and high quality. The prices have always been reasonable (both parts and labor); facilities are clean; diagnostics information shared on invoice, even when it isn’t related to the transmission, and free of charge.
Bottom line: this is the only place I will take my car, and everyone I know, from newer model automatics/​standards to antiques & custom jobs, all say the same. Thank you All Trans!

ALL TRANS — A First Class operation!
in January (2015), we brought our 95 Ford Windstar in for transmission problems (slow to change gears and slammed when it did).
A friend of ours, who’s also a mechanic, recommended All Trans as the best place to work on our transmission.
So, that’s where we went. The receptionist/​office manager, Jenny, was pleasant and personable. She even ordered us a rental car with a discount.
The shop is really large, well lit and clean. The mechanics are approachable, knowledgeable, and professional.
We left our car with All Trans and they rebuilt the old transmission and made the old Windstar more pleasurable to drive. It was a wonderful improvement, AND, they included a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty.
Just a few days ago, June 4, 2015, we took it back to All Trans because we were experiencing a delay in the Trans shifting from 2^nd to 3^rd gear. It was still under warranty (less than a year and we had only driven 3,000 miles). They checked it out and decided they needed to take a look at why it was doing that.
They took it apart and performed their magic. Two days later, they called and said it was done and ready for pick up.
We picked it up and it is perfect again. Good work. Good people. We even talked to Mike, the owner. who honored the warranty. In our eyes, he’s an honest, reputable man who stands behind his transmission warranty and keeps his word. All Trans is a reputable business and I would highly recommend them. We had a great experience and will not hesitate to go back. We also feel good about recommending All Trans to our friends.

I’m EwaBeachMana, I don’t know why people seem to have bad service, with this place! I called first thing they opened, talked to Jenny, and was told to bring my Chevy s10 so they can see what problem I was having. So I did, and the owner took my truck out for a spin to see what I was talking about, and I even rode with him as he drove my truck. He noticed right away that the 2^nd gear was gone! I totally felt that gear and no engage when it was shifted thru 2^nd. It’ll go from 1^st gear to 3^rd. I already had to fix my ball joints and this happens. The owner and Jenny gave me an awesome deal from other places I’ve called. They pulled my truck in as soon as I was leaving. They got started on it that day! Jenny called me the next day as I was on an install for my job down the road from all trans, and stated I had water in my trans, and what they needed to do. So I had asked my boss if he could drive me to look at the rust on my transmission parts, and crazy as it seemed it did have the rust on the parts! I went to see it with my own eyes and took photos of it. Then I called after lunch an asked how long it should take, guess what? Jenny said give them another hour, and I’ll call when they finish!
Sure enough I got my s10 back by 3pm! I was so stoked I clocked out work and went to pick it up!
Price was unbelievably cheaper then expected!
I’m just thankful for the awesome customer service by Jenny and the hard work, and quickly manner they got my truck to me!
Now I’m back on the road using my truck like nothing was wrong with my truck to begin with!

First off i would like to say a big THANK YOU to All Trans especially Jenny for her outstanding service. i have been calling all types of transmission shops on oahu and have actually took my car to two shops only to pay diagnositic fees twice of about $ 100+. each. both shops told me that my transmission needed to be rebuilt or swapped out which would have costed me 5000.00 plus.
what happened was my battery on my bmw burnt out and burnt all the wires and the battery terminal after that happened my car went into a «Fail Safe» mode, i had no idea i just thought my transmission was slipping, but when i dropped my car off to Jenny she called me by the end of the day and told me my car was in a fail safe mode and thats why my car was doing what it was doing. i called BMW after and asked about that and they said its as simple as resetting it.
I would definately recommend All Trans for anyones Transmission needs their shop is CLEAN they are HONEST and they are super FRIENDLY. and what i also liked alot about Jenny is even though i have a tight schedule at work and work far from their shop she still found a way to work around my schedule.
this blew me away… most shops would charge you off the bat just for looking at your car. Not this shop Jenny told me the simple problem and told me no charge because she didnt want to just take my money for nothing. i can not express how appreciative i am.

This review is a couple of months overdue, but I would like to say THANK YOU very much to Jennie at All Trans (front desk) and to the crew who worked on my transmission for my car.
I was dealing with a couple months worth of disappointment, runarounds and false promises by another big business (I will be civil and decline to name them) who claims to excel in customer service. It was so much stress to not have my car for so long and to keep bringing it in for the same damn problem yet they having me pay big money to fix other things.
My dad rescued me from that mess as soon as he found out and recommended to take my car away from the first business and take it to All Trans. I’m thankful for Jennie because she was so patient and sweet and by the time I talked to her, I was a mess. I was so stressed out I know I didn’t even make sense on that first phone call cuz i didn’t know where to begin.
The car transmission was fixed, All Trans crew even went and took my car to their shop for me, so that I didnt even have to deal with those other baboozes anymore. Jennie checked in often to keep me updated. Also, a nice surprise was that they finished very quickly, even though it was last minute notice, and they were less expensive.

not friendly at all they took my vehicle while I was paying them monthly payments then when I called to require about my vehicle the receptionist told me that my vehicle was gone. Then next thing you know she lied about it and the owner is an ass he didn’t even have good customer service at all when I went down there in person they wanted me to pay for storage fee when they gave away my car or towed as months went by the car was still under my name they didn’t even make the name trade until I wanted to get my vehicle back and take them to court then he deeded to go to the dmv and switch the name over… They are a fraud, they are rude I basically had kissed my money and car good bye… They suck

Went in for tranny work was told rear end has problems too after it was torn apart for the transmission. $ 2500 for the transmission then an extra $ 1500 for rear end work yet my rear end is still not correct. They have had it back twice now once to fix the first oversight on their part and again because it’s still having the same issues they were supposed to have fixed and claim it’s fine.
Took it to a master mechanic for a second opinion and was told not only is it not fixed because it’s still doing what they were supposed to fix I needed to take it back and have them complete the work, plus they overcharged by quite a bit.
They tried to guilt us into paying for a part that should have been inspected and cleaned during the first round of repair. I don’t believe any of the work was done correctly… the guy that did the work is no longer working there. My gut feeling is they know there’s not much we can do and will blow us off until the 90 day warranty expires
UPDATE: it still pisses me off to this day. Everytime I get in the car and the transmission clunks and jerks I want to scream profanities

The most terrible customer service I ever seen, not only was I over charged for the parts n labor of my car, they included a rental car in the amount quoted, I make a $ 1000 deposit, go in the next day to pick up the rental n Jenni says sorry it’s already gone. Refers me to enterprise for a car, tells them to bill me n not all trans… for something I already paid all trans for.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, SERVICE, AND COMPANY POLICY, ON TOP OF THAT THE BIGGEST BITCH WHO WORKS IN THE OFFICE.

These crooks wanted to charge me over $ 2000 because they claimed I needed my transmission rebuilt. Luckily I declined & took my car to another shop. It was just a leaky drain plug. $ 75 and an honest mechanic later & my car runs like new. AVOID this place like the plague unless you feel like being taken advantage of!

These people know their stuff. Took a unique 1964 push button transmission here about ten years ago. They rebuilt it no questions asked with no hidden issues for a great price.
This year I brought in a 2007 charger that gave me a random error code. They looked at it and came up with no issues and sent me on my way with a trans flush and filter change after a thorough inspection and instructions on what to be on the lookout for.
Great people and an overall straight up honest shop that will tell you like it is and provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision to get back on the road.
