Recently swung by Ron’s to get leis for friends coming to visit. Great selection and good pricing on specialty leis.
Paid a few more dollars for a tea leaf lei vs what I would have paid a lei vendor at the airport.
Will frequent them again for specialty leis.

Friendly staff. I came in on a Sunday-​no problem w parking. Shipping is cheaper than other lei shops, but you have to order at least $ 100 worth of leis, or you have to take the box down to fedex to ship it yourself, which is considerable more expensive. Not too many selection on leis, but the ones they carry are pretty nice and cheaper. My leis were shipped to the mainland and came in on time. very fresh and packed very nice.

I returned to the mainland (Connecticut) to watch my daughter and her club volleyball team compete in a weekend tournament. I decided to bring some leis home to wish the team well in the tournament. I went to order 15 single orchid leis. Norma helped me with my order, including recommending that I go with an orchid and tuberose lei for only 25 cents more, $ 5 each. They are so much more fragrant than the single orchid lei. They offered to package the leis in a box suitable for travel. The leis were well packaged in a box with an ice pack. The box was stamped with their USDA stamp so going through TSA security at the airport was a breeze. Left on a Thursday evening, arrived in CT on Friday morning, and presented the leis on Saturday afternoon. The leis were in perfect condition, the team loved them. I’m going to Leis by Ron from now on for all my leis! I highly recommend them.

Leis by Ron and Dominic, the gentlemen that helped us were 5 stars across the board. The quality of the 60 orchid leis we ordered for our wedding plus the double tuberose and additional specialty leis we ordered were outstanding and more than affordable! Our guests were extremely happy with them and so were we!

Oh my goodness. This is the place, you guys. Breathtakingly beautiful leis at amazing prices. I bought a feather lei for my best friend who was flying in to visit. It’s was made of TONS of gorgeous purple orchids FOR $ 13!!! They do not skimp on the flowers here. The place looks like a warehouse so don’t be fooled. They sell to individuals. I walked in and told them what I was looking for. They asked me some questions and helped me choose the perfect open lei for my pregnant friend. I will be buying all my leis here in the future. Did I mention it’s conveniently on the way to the airport? This place is a gem.

Dropped in on a Friday morning from a recommendation from a friend. Parking was full, but I found a space. Most of the beautiful lei were sold out due to the many graduations locally and on the mainland! Boy, are they ever popular!
Found the lei that I needed and got a discount because they were overstocked and was on my way in a few minutes.
My recommendation is to go online to see what lei they carry, then call ahead to reserve the type of lei you want so that it’s ready to go when you arrive!

Have bought leis here several times and they have always been very helpful with my selection. Prices are good and flowers fresh. Most recently, I went to pick up my order and it was not ready. I told them I would take a different lei (needed 10) but the young man who was helping me said the I had paid more for the leis I had chosen. As he did not have 10 of the chosen ones, and he did not want to give me a lesser cost lei, he actually gave me 10 of a nicer lei at no extra charge. As these were for a memorial service for a friend, I was most appreciative and my hula sisters, who were wearing the leis were so pleased. Many people commented on them.

Whatever it was, I am a happy customer and my brother is a happy graduate!
Customer service was great! I called them about 2 weeks in advance, and then ended up calling a few days before graduation to get the lei. The lady on the phone was SO NICE. I was boarding my plane flight to graduation and she worked so well with me.
Cost was good! I used to order graduation leis from leisofhawaii but they got my order wrong (!) and then they said they wouldn’t give me a refund unless i shipped it back to them (a little too late for graduation, right?) and now their price has skyrocketed.
Anyway, I got a premium white lei with a blue ribbon (school colors) and it looked nice.

I was on a hunt for wholesale/​bulk prices for 150 single orchid leis and a dozen fancier leis. I searched high and low and even inquired with the three top selling lei places in chinatown and they still could not beat Leis by Ron prices. I also checked out Costco, but they didnt have some of the fancier leis that I was looking for plus I needed to have them delivered to a site. All in all, they honestly have the best bang for your buck. If a florist who has a storefront is even telling YOU to go here to get leis at wholesale prices that is telling you something, dont you think?
The place looks a little run down, off the beaten path and is located in a semi industrial area, but that doesnt bother me. I suppose thats how they are able to keep prices low so that savings are past on to the customer :)
So on the day of, the order was ready when it was suppose to be, the leis were nicely boxed for ease of pick-​up/​delivery and they all turned out nice and just as I had expected.
I cant remember the deal, but if you purchase a certain amount of leis you get some free. Seriously, look no where else and dont waste your time if you are truly looking to buy wholesale/​direct/​bulk leis. They are much cheaper than what the florist is selling them for.

Picking up leis for graduation at the stadium. Aiea High School and nice this is right down the street from work and convenient. They have some beautiful leis to choose from but were out of Maile leis and only a few tea leaf Mailes but the prices were really high. Not sure if it was because of graduation weekend or if that is the normal price as I have never bought one before. Went for the regular orchid leis because the kids get so many they are smashed in moments. I would give the shop a 5 star but for the parking. It is terrible! Two cars had to move just so we could leave. Not usually this busy.

Finding this place wasn’t hard … sort of, i expected a store and store sign to jump out at me, instead its tucked away in a auto shop. I have an SUV so parking definitely was a challenge but I was able to run in and out.
The sales lady was super nice and gave me a discount on leis that normally ran double digits! I don’t know if I’d come back only because I hate dealing with coming out from the side street into traffic where there should be a stop light or something… super dangerous around lunch. Anyhoos. this place is cool but I think the location should be in a regular floral shop with decent parking for customers.

Unbelievable lei selection (Thai orchids) for an unbelievable price. Cost is saved as the leis are made overseas. Always remember, orchid leis are sturdy and will likely last more than one day!

Inexpensive leis. Bought shell leis and kukui nut leis to take up to China. Crocheted the eyelash yarn around it to make it look more floral. People loved them! Also can use over and over again for other occasions.
They also have fresh leis that you can ship back to the mainland. Highly recommend going here instead of fighting the traffic back in Chinatown. Easy to find, and you don’t have to search hard for parking.

I received a lei when I visited the island that came from this store.
It was a double stranded purple orchid lei with tuberose mixed in, which gave it an incredible fragrant smell. From what I hear, the lei was $ 15 and single stranded leis start around $ 5.
For the quality of the lei, you are getting an absolute steal. On the mainland, leis of similar or worst quality run at $ 60 – 70 a pop. Load up on the leis here if you get a chance!

I came here to pick out a lei for a visitor coming from the mainland. Leis by Ron is a warehouse located right below Fort Shafter and pretty close to Nimitz Hwy. They supply many of the leis for stores on the island, so why not buy direct from the warehouse?
I wanted something better than the usual single stranded purple orchid lei so she showed me a variety of other more deluxe leis to pick from. Pricing is variable but the standard single stranded leis cost $ 4.75 which is pretty good. (I think Costco sells two single stranded standard orchid leis for $ 8, so slightly more here.) You can get white, purple, or green orchid. The green orchid looks unique. I ended up getting a double stranded purple orchid with tuberose mixed in. The tuberose adds such an amazing smell it is worth the extra money. The lei I got normally costs $ 20 but she hooked it up for me for $ 15. Who knows what the original price was but I was pretty happy with the quality of the lei.
She will help you out and explain the meanings behind the flowers and leaves if you ask. I was worried that the purple orchid was too girly for a guy, but she said it was unisex. The maile leaves that a lot of guys wear is reserved for special occasions like weddings and graduations because it is a symbol of good luck… since this was neither of those two events, I decided not to go with the maile haha. The maile leaf lei starts at $ 20 for just the leaves… if you want flowers twisted into the cost goes up.
Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30pm Monday — Friday. Not sure about the weekends, but you can call a day in advance to order your lei if you have something special in mind. I just walked in cus I had no idea what to get. I will come here whenever I am in need of a fresh lei!

I was looking to make a large lei order for my wedding and actually placed an order at another lei shop. But when they called to say they didn’t have what I wanted, I called Ron’s. The entire order came out to $ 100 less than the other lei shop. Ordering over the phone was no problem and the quality of the lei were great and exactly what I expected. Sure beats the other place!

Now that I’ve lived here in Hawaii for over 2 years now, I’ve gotten into the lei-​giving culture though you won’t seem me using «aloha» or «mahalo» much in my day-​to-​day conversation. :o) My previous sources for buying leis were some shop in Chinatown (lots of shops! can be overwhelming! but parking is a pain!) or some store (like Longs — bit overpriced). I finally consulted my trusty Unilocal to find a nearby location, preferably not Chinatown. And up popped Leis by Ron! So close to home and work that I can’t use laziness or inconvenience as an excuse. My first visit there I didn’t know what kind of lei to get for my two favorite supervisors as goodbye presents, but the woman there helped guide me to suitable choices. The last time I was there, I still didn’t know what kind of lei to get, but the guy offered a nice lei based on my description of the birthday guy. Good variety and selection. Fresh from the source. Reasonable prices. Now I know where to pick up leis for out-​of-​town visitors and for special occasions!

I needed a last minute lei for a party on Friday and Leis by Ron popped up on my Unilocal map. Lo and behold a little lei shop in a warehouse with TONS of lei offerings. The lady seemed to understand my urgency and brought out a whole box of leis for me to look through.
I picked a $ 20, red and white lei. She took my card and made it snappy!
