At ACE Autobody Incorporated, we are dedicated to serving the customer’s needs. We handle all insurance claims with ANY insurance company and handle all of the negotiations for your vehicle to be repaired to pre-​accident condition. We offer a lifetime warranty on all of our work and also offer on-​site rental pick up.

We have state-​of-​the-​art equipment, and all of the dealer’s specs through All-​Data for every make and model. We have a downdraft paint booth, and we use RM’s color matching paint system Onyx HD. We also have a Chism Frame Machine for uni-​body and frame straightening.

If you’re unable to drive your vehicle we have tow trucks on stand-​by and we also offer free pick-​up and delivery for drivable vehicles in the greater Hartford area. Remember, it’s your choice where you get your car repaired, not your insurance company’s! Pick a shop of your choice!

Established in 1960.

ACE Auto Body, Inc. was opened in 1960 by Eddie Clavette and Brother-​in-​law George Grivios. About ten years later Eddie and his son Gary Clavette bought out the existing partners. Since then, Gary and Eddie’s grandson Kevin Clavette have been running the day-​to-​day operations. Ace Auto Body is one of the top rated auto body shops in Hartford, CT. At ACE Auto Body, we are dedicated to serving the customer’s needs and treating everyone like family.

I own/​operate Ace Auto Body Inc. in Hartford CT. My business is third generation, family owned and operated for over 50 years. I have been in the automotive collision repair business for over twelve years. I am a certified refinish tech, and automotive collision appraiser. Ace Auto Body has been a member of the Auto Body Association of Connecticut for over 15 years. I am also currently Secretary Treasurer, and a member of BNI Minnechaug in Glastonbury, CT.
