History

Established in 2000.

In 1997 my wife asked me if I was interested in going back to school to further my education. At the time I had a successful Bridal Gown business and had a graduate degree. I decided in the evenings I would learn about real estate. By 2000 I had a full Brokers license. In 2002 I opened Willow Lake Real Estate the first real estate company in The Glen in Glenview. Five years latter we became Century 21 Premier Properties. It was sold in 2011 and I joined @properties. It was an incredible run for me but my love was helping people buy and sell properties. Before entering into real estate Barry spent 10 years in the Bridal Gown Industry. The Newman/​Schlossberg Group was on the forefront of technology. : List to sell ratio is a high 97% — this means he correctly prices properties. The area average is 94%. 3% is huge. A million dollar home will receive $ 30,000 more than the market average. A home priced at $ 500,000 will net $ 15,000 more.

: Listings sell in less than four months on the market but typically much less time. @properties has a system called pocket listings. If the owner of a property does not want to list on the MLS we can put the listing on the agent app (we our the only company that communicates with all 1,700 @properties agents with the agent app on our smart phone)& possibly sell the property before the market is aware of the listing.

: Buyers purchase their properties at a low 78% of the list price. Typically agents who list properties will take an over priced property just to get a listing. My sense of pricing enables my clients to buy properties at a much lower cost.
