History

Established in 1996.

After growing up in the family roofing business and working summers through high school, the Owner of PCCompany vowed to never have anything to do with roofing again. He received a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and out of desperation had to do roofing part-​time to pay for his college tuition. Upon graduation he went to work for Banner Associates in Laramie, WY where he did architectural design development, project management, and roof consulting work. Health concerns for the patriarch of the family roofing business drew him back into roofing and eventually he purchased the family business. After a period of 10 years, he decided to terminate the family business and go to work for McKinney and Company in Ashland, Virginia. There he did architectural design development, project management, and roof consulting for 4 years. In 1996 he started PCCompany and currently has completed over 100 million SF of roof consulting projects across the US.
