Fantastic! I actually called another contractor first to get work done on a home that was damaged due to a water leak. That contractor had trouble communicating with me, and after a few days without an estimate I touched base with Fred. He met me the same day, and even had me an estimate that evening. He worked directly with the insurance company, and completed everything in the same condition as before the leak; as good as new (sheetrock, flooring, baseboards, etc.). Knowing we were on a very short timeline, Fred went above and beyond to get it done ASAP! I could not recommend a company more.

I called Capital Renovations to give me a bid on repairing an exterior wall that was leaking in a multi family building after several contractors had come out and could not determine the cause and/​or solution for the leaking wall.
Fred immediately knew what the problem was, gave me a reasonable bid, then did a fabulous job on remedying the problem. Since then, Fred has done numerous jobs for me. He even renovated my mother’s house, inside and out.
Fred is the nicest guy to work with. I trust his expertise wholeheartedly and know that he will do the job right the first time. I feel like there is no job too big or too small for Capital Renovations. Fred is now our go to guy!

I called Capitol Renovations to come help me with a project I could never actually get started. Fred arrived on time and gave me a very fair estimate on removing the popcorn from several of the rooms in my house, as well as painting and a little wall repair. He hung lots of plastic to keep my rooms and furniture super clean, scraped the popcorn in 3 rooms faster than I did the first room on my own, expertly retextured the ceilings and painted both ceilings and walls.
As an extra challenge, I asked Fred about removing 8 large cedar posts in my atrium that really dated the house. He let me know that the posts weren’t load-​bearing, knocked em out, and blended the gaps into the rest of ceiling like they were never there. Now my skylights fill up the whole area really nicely.
I definitely recommend Capitol Renovations for any home improvement project. You couldn’t ask for a friendlier contractor than Fred!
