Torrey Window

My wife and I bought a house with old aluminum windows and decided to replace 6 of them with new vinyl Milgard windows. I contacted numerous (4) windows installers that had varying price ranges, but was ultimately impressed with Torrey Windows. JR came out and took some measurements and gave us an estimate, which was actually slightly lower than any of the other companies. We ordered the windows and they arrived within 2 weeks.
Installation: the installers were awesome, especially Sal. They were perfectionists and did a great job. They did a great cleanup job and we were just left with amazing new windows.
There was a hiccup during the process and it was quickly rectified. They stand behind their service and products and took care of us.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company for windows and this will be the company I recommend to my friends and family whenever they need windows.

No kidding. These guys deserve their high rating. They changed all our 13 windows at the BEST possible price. Professional, clean, friendly, responsive… Could not ask anymore from these guys. We are so happy that we contracted them.

Got my new vinyl retrofit windows yesterday. They look great and my place is so quiet now. I live on a noisy street, but the new windows have made a big difference.
Two guys spent all day removing the old glass and putting in the new windows. They were very nice during the job and kept everything neat and tidy. They did show up later than planned, but Andrew called from the office to let me know, he was very sweet. He also helped me in the office when I came in to see some window samples. They have a really cool showroom, hint, it’s not a warehouse. If I knew anything about windows, I would want to work there.
My neighbor referred me to Torrey, he had his windows replaced a few years ago and said they do good work. Well, they have done it again.

I read Beth C’s review about this company and decided to give a try even though it’s a bit out of my way. Thanks to her I saved a few bucks and was able to get Milgard windows instead of some brand I had never heard of before. Torrey is a smaller family owned and operated place which means you can actually speak to the owner if you want to. The company has been around for a long time and its easy to see why. The sales guy actually showed up on time (not typical for contractors) and only spent about 15 minutes taking measurements of the windows I wanted to have replaced. It took about three weeks to get the windows made, but only a day to install them. Why it takes so long to make them, I don’t know, but it seems to be the same everywhere. After six quotes I can definitely say Torrey has the best prices, and I can’t complain about the quality. Go here if you need windows.

Our experience was excellent. We needed a window pane, a new glass door, and a large 4 panel custom french doors. We got an estimate from Home Deport. Their price with a discount was outrageous. Torrey’s estimates were right in the ballpark. The work and installation were perfect. Would happily use them again.

I went to Torrey because they had some reviews that mentioned the exact kind of windows I wanted and their rating was pretty good compared to other places. They did have a display of the window I wanted in the showroom so that helped too. I’m one of those people that have to see everything first. Anyway, the quote was close enough to what I expected, I won’t tell you how much ’cause that’s tacky. It was a good price let’s just leave it at that. The installers came out with my windows two weeks later as promised and installed everything that day. Torrey did a great job and made it look easy, maybe it is easy, I don’t know. Whatever, I’m really happy.

Great experience. I found Torrey to have the lowest price for the patio doors I wanted, in the time frame that I needed them, with an install crew that was not outsourced. A crew by the way that was really great, neat and respectful of my house. They also repaired my stucco and replaced the moulding around the door which most places do not do. I would definitely recommend you call them for an estimate on your door and window project. I will refer them to a friend and I will call them again for my door/​window needs.

They have a bunch of windows on display here, really nice stuff. I just ordered some new windows for the front of my old house in Fullerton. Jim (salesman) was really helpful and knows all about old houses. He said the job would only take a day to complete, I’m not entirely convinced but I’ll let you know. The price was pretty much the same as everyone else but they seem somehow more trustworthy here.

Torrey Windows & Doors has a great selection and capability of making custom doors & windows. However, their lack of professionalism and integrity have earned them their low rating. I ordered interior doors from them and several weeks into the process, they just cancelled my job — no explanation! I called to find out what was going on and they wouldn’t even take my call. This is NOT a place you want to do business with. They are unreliable and unpredictable. Move on.

I decided to replace a couple more windows and a patio door on my old house. I dealt with the same salesperson and installers from earlier this year so everything went really smooth. They have a lot to choose from but they made it easy to sort out what would work best for my house. Wood double hung windows is what I ended up with and they match my old house and the neighborhood perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about this place they are just great at what they do.

After getting 2 other quotes we found Torrey Window Co and I’m so glad we did. Not only is their showroom one of the coolest ever, they have great service. JR was great and didn’t pressure us to buy windows… which we did get from our other quotes. The price was great, but the service was OUTSTANDING! From the minute we walked into Torrey’s we felt like we were their only customers, the answered every question we had, called when they said they would, and emailed what they said they would. We ordered 15 windows and a slider and they arrived when Torrey’s told us they would. The called and asked when was a good day to install and told us what time the crew would be there.
Believe it or not the crew arrived on time (they were actually 5 min early) to install all the windows, which contractors are never on time so that was so nice. The window installers were professional and made sure they covered our furniture and hardwood floors. They left everything so clear! These guys were great. I can’t say enough nice things about Torrey Window Co! I was nervous about having windows installed, but Torrey’s Window Co made it so easy! I love our new windows. Thank you!

If you own an old house you know how hard it can be to get new doors. A colleague of mine introduced me to Torrey Door and Window. I didn’t know companies were still available to do this, but Torrey actually made fully customized doors to fit where my old doors used to be! The quality of the craftsmanship is amazing. People always say they don’t make things like they used to. Well, those people need to give Torrey a call.
