was super helpful and very professional. Everything was done in a timely manner and within budget. Eric’s design ideas were very helpful and he was very knowledgable in the field. This place is totally sexist and unprofessional. I had an appointment for an estimate on putting in a synthetic grass lawn in my yard, and received a call the day before to confirm. The man who called me mentioned that they would see my husband and I the following day, and I corrected him and stated that my husband would not be home. He wanted to reschedule when we would both be home and I assured him several times that it would not be a problem, but he kept pushing me and basically said that they only do free estimates if both spouses are present. I told him that my husband isn’t paying for these home improvements and he does not need to be present, but this rude man kept insisting until I just cancelled the appointment. I am so angry after dealing with these people, I would never work with a company that treats women like second class citizens that need their husband’s permission to make improvements to the home.

My wife and I finally decided to remodel a bathroom tub /​shower that was long overdue. We started by calling an unlicensed friend, then stopped by the showroom of a company that specializes in bathroom remodels. Since our bathroom was not standard, we weren’t convinced either of these two options would work well for us.
A few days later I received a cold call from a telemarketer, asking if I needed any home improvement work done. I don’t remember the name of the company he said he represented, but was surprised when David of Inner City Skyline came to my door. I knew this was not the same company that I had spoken to on the phone.
What I soon learned is that Inner City Skyline and perhaps many other contractor companies in the area get work by word of mouth and advertising, but also by a third party company that generates leads.
David was extremely friendly and re-​assuring. We showed him the bathroom, and he assured us that no job was too big or too small for Inner City Skyline. He was very confident that we would be taken care of, and showed us photos of other jobs they had completed, and showed us their insurance and contractors license documents.
We signed papers and I handed him a one thousand dollar deposit check.
After David left those doubts came creeping in. I went onto Unilocal to see how they were rated. Mostly very positive reviews. The few negative reviews I read were from people who either didn’t have work done by them (they paid the deposit then got cold feet when the check was cached prior to the start of the job), or they didn’t realize that major remodels of bathrooms or kitchens will cover your home with dust, etc.
I felt pretty good that we would end up with a great looking bathroom.
Everyone who showed up to my house — whether the men doing the work, or other managers from Inner City Skyline — were very pleasant and professional.
I was pleased with the flexibility of David and everyone. Unless you know exactly what you are going to do before you get started, chances are in a kitchen or bathroom remodel there will be changes of plans. These were taken in stride by everyone, and we moved forward and got the job completed.
Our new bathroom looks beautiful. It did cost a little more than we initially planned, but we ended up with a bathroom that is amazing, and looks better than I had even hoped for.

I contacted several companies to replace my roof, and Inner City Skyline returned the most professional and competitive quote for the work. Peri was wonderful to work with, listening to my concerns and answering my questions in a personable (yet not pushy) manner. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, with great communication throughout the process related to progress, schedule, and anticipated finish date. All Inner City Skyline employees were courteous, professional, and respectful of the home, carefully cleaning up after themselves and leaving the yard cleaner than when they found it! Most importantly, the roof looks great. I am very pleased with the outcome and finished product, and would recommend this company to others. In fact, I will likely use them again for other home-​related projects!

Me and my wife wanted to remodel our bathroom and do some painting in our living room and in our kitchen. We met with several contractors before deciding which company to choose. It wasn’t an easy decision but we ultimately decided to go with Inner City Skyline. The salesman Rami was helpful, friendly, and polite. He wasn’t pushy or aggressive with his sales pitch. He was patient in answering all our questions. The workers that came into our home were very professional and respectful. Although there was a delay in the start of the project, they apologized numerous times and they offered us a discount on our next home improvement project.
The workers were a pleasure to have in our home. They were always on time and they kept our property clean and protected. I am absolutely satisfied with the end result. Our new bathroom is beautiful! The work done was very detailed. The painting came out great and it gives our home a much-​needed facelift. I would recommend Inner City Skyline if you are looking to get any home improvement project done. Me and my wife look forward to working with Inner City Skyline for our next home improvement project. I had an old, huge roof, steeply pitched with dormers, that had sprung a leak after the first big rain. I called a handful of roofers to get estimates. For most of them, I left messages that were never returned. I only spoke with 3 companies. One gave me a flat «Nope. Too busy.» when I asked him for an estimate. Another put me on an overflow list with the understanding that it would be months before they could send someone out. Inner City was the only company that responded positively, promptly arranging an appointment for an estimate.
Sam arrived on time and spent about 4 hours examining the roof, explaining the options, and working out a tentative schedule with the foremen. Because of the recent rain and the many weather reports predicting a strong El Nino season, Inner City was swamped with calls, too. However, Sam was always positive and confident that they would be able to work me into their schedule. Thank you, Sam!
A few days later, I met two guys — Tony and Giovanny. Two. Amazing. Wonderful. Guys. Always polite, always respectful, always helpful. Excellent roofers at the top of their game. I believe they installed the new roof — the entire roof — themselves. I’m still amazed thinking about it.
I also had an excellent experience with John, the supervisor. John was always understanding, considerate and patient, working around the many changes in my schedule.

The sales representative Leo did an excellent job explaining and demonstrating the product and the way The installation will be handled. We looked at three other companies before hiring inner city skyline, and these guys were the most honest and professional company we spoke to hands down.
We received a phone call a day before the windows arrived, on the day of installation the crew arrived on time. The windows were wrapped and protected. The guys were very clean and professional, and the job was completed the same day.
They had their own quality control representative arrive to the house after the installation to make sure that everything was done correctly. They issued a completion and all the certificates for the windows.
Four weeks later we called them again and ordered a patio sliding door from them.

I own a real estate company and have to deal with contractors and construction companies on a regular basis. I first contacted inner city skyline Construction because of the reviews I found on Unilocal and another site. They responded to my request immediately and within a week I had a full proposal for my client to review. The job consisted of retrofitting and reinforcing a badly damaged raised foundation on a single family home. They started the job on the exact day that the contract stated and finished way ahead of schedule… Both of these things rarely, if ever, happen when dealing with contractors. The work was excellent and I am extremely pleased with their service and professionalism. I’d like to give an extra «shout out» to Rami, Sean and the crew was very pleasant coordinators that handled all of my calls and emails.

The process was great from start to finish.
I had received the typical solar sales pitch previously and always felt pressured and on the defensive. This was NOT the case with Inner City Skyline, the process was relaxed and I learned so much. They took the time to explain everything and I also got help with month to month financing.
They finished the job in less then 4 days and I had a full system on the roof and ready to go. The crew was professional and clean.

No hard sell here, just honest data to help us make an informed decision. We sought out the company thru internet searches, reviews, and evaluations and weren’t disappointed. Inner city skyline representative, Sean, took time with us explaining various programs and equipment. Sean never made us feel pressured or rushed. While we are a distance from their office, Sean was always punctual for appointments and knowledgeable about our city and state codes. With so many variables to consider… electrical panels, roof material etc. Sean was able to connect us with the appropriate craftsmen who responded immediately. I am very disappointed with this company and anyone signing a contract with them should be very careful when putting a deposit. I signed a contract on Monday the 12th, and a day later decided I was not happy with the deal. I called the contractor that came to my house to let him know I had changed by mind and to send me back my check. That was the 13th. Today I see that they cashed my check and they do not answer the phones after 3:00 pm, so I had to leave them a message to send me my money back. I would do a «no star» review, but if I get my money back in the next day or two, I would be willing to revise this review. I will keep you all posted.
10-​19-​2015: REVISED REVIEW John from Inner City called me today to explain that they usually cash the deposit checks day of signing and they could not get me my money back until the checked had cleared through their bank. Had I known that upfront, I don’t think I would have over-​reacted to them cashing my check after I had cancelled (being that I am a single woman feeling thinking that I had been taken advantage of) but they said my check is in the mail and I should get it today or tomorrow. My apologies Inner City, you have made good and responded quickly to my post and I appreciate the follow up.

What a great experience we had with Inner City Skyline. From start to finish these guys were awesome. price, product, professional and so knowledgeable.
Our roof was in pretty poor shape and unlike the other solar companies, Inner City Skyline actually knows roofs, so when they recommended a new roof where the solar was going to be installed we were even more impressed.
All of the other companies said the old roof would be fine. The wait for Inner City Skyline did take a while but it was worth it as the roof is new and the solar is working great. We are very happy with our choice.

If you have time to waste with waiting for them to come out, then you might get quality work. They scheduled and then rescheduled our quote date pushing it to three weeks with the first initial call. Then on the date we rescheduled he didn’t show! We called and the receptionist said they would have to reschedule. We took the high road and just canceled the whole job. Hopefully their quality of work isn’t as unprofessional as their punctuality.

I had wanted to install Solar Panels on my house for several years but held off because it was such an expensive investment.
I finally decided to do it when I realized the rebates and tax breaks weren’t going to stay around forever.
I got many quotes and talked to many different companies but Inner City Skyline seemed to have the best reviews on Unilocal.
The quote from Inner City Skyline was about the lowest cost for the most wattage of any. I was also adding central air conditioning and new windows and doors on my house so they were able to quote a system that should cover almost all of my needs.
I ended up purchasing a 10 kW system so I should break even in about 8 years.
When the crew came out to install it only took 2 days for panels and electrical.
I did have to get a new main panel on the other end of my house and my existing panel became a sub-​panel. That work was done by professional electricians that Inner City Skyline provided. Sam did a great job! I will use him for any new electrical work in the future. The move of the panel was a major job but it was included in the cost.
Originally they thought we would have the system turned on around the middle of December but it is all pretty much up to the power company (LADWP in my case) as to when they let you turn it on. It was actually ready to turn on in early November but LADWP didn’t come out and approve it until January.
At all times Inner City Skyline kept me informed as to what was happening and if I needed to do anything. Everyone I interfaced with was very professional and friendly.
Now my system has been on for over a month and it’s producing about as much as I use and I have a hot tub that I also installed about the same time.
If you’re thinking of Solar you can’t go wrong with Inner City Skyline.
