Yvette is a fantastic agent! We had a tight timeline for selling our house and moving out of state. With Yvette’s guidance and support, our house sold much quicker than we thought. Her expert advice and quick responses to all of our questions was amazing.

Yvette sold our home in Fremont and as a first time seller, it was a 5-​star experience from start to finish.
My wife and I interviewed several agents before deciding on Yvette. Yvette struck us as down to earth, professional, and she knows her stuff. Yet she’s also a good negotiator and will be your advocate when negotiating a deal. Both were exhibited during the entire process.
Yvette was clear throughout the process of getting the home on the market — she has a team that cleaned and staged the home and she coordinated inspections, HOA reports, etc etc and we used Doc-​u-​Sign to complete a lot of the agreements. Since we had already moved homes when we were selling, it made it very easy to not have to take time out of our day to continually drive up to our home to coordinate things.
When it came down to the actual sale, Yvette helped us negotiate and kept us informed throughout the entire process. I could see from emails she forwarded that she was chasing the buyer agent for updates daily.
There’s a lot of great agents in the Bay Area but I’m definitely happy we went with Yvette!

We had NO IDEA where to start when it came to finding a realtor. We checked Unilocal and found Yvette. She seemed to have good reviews, so we took a chance on her. This was a big decision for us; we are not wealthy and everything we had was in our house. We were very impressed with Yvette! She understood our anxiety over such a big decision. Her confidence and experience took away our anxiety quickly! She moved quickly and told us what we needed to do to help her sell our house. She has many resources available to her to handle any issue that popped up. She ALWAYS looked and spoke professionally. She ALWAYS returned calls/​texts/​emails as quickly as she possibly could. My sale involved money from offshore, and it just so happened that at that time there was a national holiday in that country and the banks were closed for a week; nonetheless Yvette was able to close on the day she had set! I KNOW she was working on my deal at 0100−0200hrs in the early morning (that was when the banks opened in the other country) so she could keep the closing day she told us! The only other realtor I have to compare her to is the one I dealt with when I bought my new house in another state. He was a ‘good’ realtor; the deal went smoothly and honestly, but there were times we didn’t know what was going on and he did not return our calls for a day or two. He would be a bit brusque and abrupt, answering our questions tersely, expecting us to understand, requiring more questions. What a stark contrast with Yvette! She could sense if we were ‘fuzzy’ on something and would not leave or end the communiqué until we were both completely clear. She was very patient with our doubtless stupid questions. We were completely impressed with Yvette and would heartily recommend her to any one. She made the sale of my house in Fremont far easier than I thought possible!

There is a reason why everyone here says she is the best…‘coz, she IS the best! I worked with two other agents before finding Yvette. Right from the first conversation, I could see a monumental difference in the way the she communicated vs. how the other agents did.
It is no exaggeration when I say that I would not be a home-​owner without Yvette’s help! Even the listing agent told us that we were extremely lucky to have her as our agent.
Here’s how it goes when you work with her:
She will figure out what you want in a property and she will help you understand the market situation. She will help you narrow down the properties that fit your budget, she will be honest if you are thinking of overpaying on a property… she has an excellent sense of home appraisals and will let you know what the home «actually is worth». She has a great working relationship with mortgage brokers and with their help, she will help you get the best interest rates possible.
Once you are ready to make an offer, it’s all her… you just sit back and let her to do what she does best. She will work very closely with the listing agents and most probably your offer will get accepted! After that, she will be sure to meet with the appraisers to bring them up to date on the neighborhood report and to provide her own comps for the property. This shows how committed she is, to make sure you get the best of all fronts.
Once done, she will work diligently with the title company and the lenders to make sure the deal gets closed on time. When I was getting worried if we will be able to close on time (due to the long weekend), she said — «Relax, leave the stress to me». I did, she made sure that everyone was on top of their game and that we closed on time. It’s amazing how she responds to emails sent out in the middle of the night… I wonder if you sleep at all Yvette :)
If you have any questions, she is available via text, phone call, or email. Always very prompt in getting back to you.
Once the home is yours… get this… she sends you the list of phone numbers to get the utilities transferred to your name! She makes everything so easy for you! If it were legal to do so, I would think she would even have her assistants do transfer for you :)
After that, if you are looking at any upgrades to the home, she has a great team with whom she had been working for the past 18 years! She will help you upgrade in the best means possible; carpet, tiles, painting, or what have you. She will be there until you are completely satisfied.
Fate forbid, if you were in a freak situation like mine (our neighbor’s negligence caused a significant damage to our home two weeks after we moved in!), she will be there for you. Yvette helped me contact the restoration management companies, contractors to fix the damage done to the home that we thought was perfect, provided moral support, and was overall a great friend when you needed one. My wife and I are truly thankful to what she has done for us. Thank you Yvette!

Yvette is a fantastic agent! I found her based on the Unilocal reviews and she has lived up to all the praises and then some. Within a few hours of my initial call to her, she was able to meet in-​person and had already prepared a full packet (comps etc) for my house in Ardenwood. She is extremely thorough, remarkably responsive and relentlessly works to get the job done. I picked Yvette over other top realtors in my area because she never assumed she had my business but showed she was committed to winning it.
After getting the listing, Yvette moved fast to get the house ready for sale and had a number of great contractors to get all my renovations done. We ran across a number of unexpected issues during the renovations and she was always on top of them and ensured they got resolved.

From our first meeting with her, after doing some homework and meeting with a couple of others, we knew we had found the «one.» She is incredible at what she does. She first took a look at our house and made some recommendations at what to do. She also has an incredible team of people that did most of the work that needed to be done. I could go on and on, but let me sum up what I think are the most important things for anyone looking for a great agent. Integrity, works hard, takes care of everything, returns all calls and emails, and is really intimate with your property and goals. One day, just a few days before open house, the dishwasher had sprung a leak. She called to let me know she was going over to take a look at it with her contractor. She and three of her assistants showed up to take care of it. Fortunately it was just a spill from a cleaning cycle. No charge, no worries. Amazing.

I and my husband found Yvette through Unilocal because she already has very good reviews. We did contact a few agents at the very beginning and all of them have good reviews on Unilocal.What makes Yvette stands out is that she is the only one respond to our emails and request not only in time but accurately. She really listens to us and gave us pertinent advices pretty quickly. There are some occasions that she need to check before giving us an answer, she always update us ASAP. She is professional and work very efficiently. The other agents may be also knowledgeable, but many of them are either too busy to respond to us or respond promptly but with wrong answers, letting us wondering if they actually read our email or not. One of them kept sending us lists of homes in Redwood city after we corrected him a few times we are looking for houses in Fremont area. We quickly decided to work with Yvette in our home buying, and we are very glad that we made a correct decision. We never feel that we were pushed to make an offer. We got our home on the 2^nd attempt, which surprised us considering the extremely low home inventory at that time. The later loan processing is a pain to us as our loan agent disappeared in middle of our application. Yvette stood out and really pushed everything as much as she can. Yvette’s a great agent that I’d recommend to any seller or buyer! She helped us sell our home well above our expected price in no time and made the entire process stress-​free. We found Yvette on Unilocal,and at that time she had 25 5-​star reviews. We felt we should meet her to see if she could help us. We had a house we hoped to sell quickly, were hoping to get a good price, but knew we faced challenges as the house had been lived in for 40 years and needed work.
There was so much to be done, we didn’t really know where to start.
Yvette impressed us with her professionalism and expertise from the very first meeting. She came prepared with more than a dozen «comps» of houses that were of similar size and location. She had a representation of a full range of houses, from «fixer uppers» to show case homes. She was knowledgeable about the realities of the market and the current trends in sales. She seemed to have a good understanding of why some houses seemed to sell quickly, and why others might be languishing on the market.

My boyfriend and I started our search for the perfect house back in late September this year. The process was quite daunting because we had no clue what was involved in the process. It was very important we found a realtor who was responsible, well-​informed, and supportive. I Unilocaled realtors in the Fremont area and when I stumbled upon Yvette’s page I felt she could be a good match for us, especially since she speaks Teochew which is a Chinese dialect most people know nothing about. I found Yvette on Unilocal and reached out to her over a year ago regarding my condo in Fremont. Yvette was very helpful with her expertise about the market. However, the timing wasn’t right at the time to sell.
Fast forward to a year later, I reached out to Yvette again. She was on top of it! She got access to the occupied unit, helped assess of the home condition, and provide her recommendations for the sale of the home. It turned out we ended up doing an off market sale with the existing tenants, with Yvette representing both sides.
The sale process was not without issues. The tenant and I each had our own demands, in addition to the complexity added by the HOA. Throughout the process Yvette never lost her cool.
