Paws On The Run

What a wonderful team! My dog loves Paw-​lette and Tara. They walked my husky dog Mia three times a week for the past one month and she loved it. Very professional and trustworthy which is important when you give your keys to someone. So kind and loving with my dog. Tara even jogged with her. We highly recommend Paws on the Run to any dog family whose pup could use a fun outing and exercise.

Unfortunately there is no option for «zero» star rating I called and left a message 4 days ago but never heard back from anyone. Their website indicates a 24 hr. turnaround for a response. They are the only dog walking service that didn’t respond to me following numerous calls I placed to other dog walking services. I am disappointed since Paws On The Run apparently is a 5-​star service. In any event, I found someone else.

There really are no words to express how grateful we are to Paulette for walking our little Niki everyday for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. Did I say walking? I need to include sending pics, writing daily updates that I could read when I got home, lap time, doggie kisses and ear rubbing, giving treats, and really caring for Niki as if she was Paulette’s own! My husband and I are so impressed with her and her business… so professional and respectful. Just meeting her for the first time I could tell how much she loves animals! Our Niki was so scared but Paulette took the time everyday to earn Niki’s trust! Needless to say but I will anyway… Paulette is amazing and we will utilize her business anytime we go away! Thank you!!!

Paulette, Cami, and Co. watch our puppy Bruennhilde on a daily basis. Paulette is great with dogs and I know the puppy is in good hands. Not only are they reliable, but are very accommodating to schedule changes and emergencies. We once had a vet emergency with the puppy and our cat on the same date. I had to go to the office and Paulette was able to rearrange her schedule on a short notice to take both pets to the vet — such a life saver!
I would recommend them to anyone that needs a dog walker or pet sitter.

My business trip was planned unexpected and couldn’t find my resources to walk my baby, Zoy in such a short time so I started to call all the Dog sitters in Fremont area on Unilocal.
Surprisingly, Paws on the Run was the soonest to return my call. I talked to Paulette and felt she is an enthusiastic animal lover as well as a professional care giver so I set a schedule to go over the details in person next day.
Like what i thought over the phone, Paulette truly a sincere animal care giver, she showed me her licenses, experiences and we talked about an hour, she made me very comfortable and trustworthy to hand my baby under her care in next 2 weeks.
During these 2 weeks, i received phone call, emails and pictures from Paulette so i knew exactly what they doing. When I came home, i also saw the little notes Paulette left to my stay over friends on how’s Zoy doing…
Anyway, i strongly recommend Paws on the Run to Fremont 4 legs parents and will definitely use them in the future.

By chance, I ran into Paulette while walking my dog, and had a nice chat with her.
We’ve been using her since, and have been so happy with Paulette and her team. Our pup Rogue LOVES them. They are all so professional and great with Rogue.
They go above and beyond for us, and because of the odd hours that I work and that come up, they have always been accommodating and available as possible. It’s an added plus that Paulette had years of experience under her belt.
They have far exceeded our expectations and we would of course recommend them to anyone that needs care for their pets. We are thrilled to be a part of the POTR family :)

We have used Paws on the Run on several occasions for both over-​night stays and daytime walks and they have never let us down. They do everything to accommodate all of «special requests» for our two poodles and cat, and go over and above to make sure they are well taken care of. I don’t know what I would do without them! Absolutely the best of the best!!!

Paulette is the best!!! She took care of my two cats for seven days and I couldn’t even tell I was gone. The cats were just prefect and my house was nice a neat and vacuumed. That’s above and beyond what I expected. I am so grateful for her excellent service and care of my cats and I plan on using her in the future.

I made an appointment with her to come over. She met our 2 Shiba Inu’s. One of my Shiba’s is extremely shy and one is friendly. My shy Shiba named Lexie actually allowed Paulette to get close to her and even allowed Paulette to put on the dog harness before going out for a walk !! Unbelivable ! Paulette’s got Talent!
She explain her job duties and what she can do for me. I was comfortable after our discussion and met with Paulette once more before I left for our 3 week vacation.
She make notes every day what our dogs did, how they ate, and all other details written out for me. She walked our dog, brushed their hair, massage the dogs, played with them, fed them, gave them treat and she gave them lotsa love! :)
During our trip, I was not worried about our dogs. She emailed me photos our dogs too… my dogs were happy !!
My next door neighbor will be calling Paulette for her dog walking services too !

I’m very happy with Paulette and her crew! I know my pup is in great hands when I’m gone. Peace of mind comes easy knowing Paulette and Erin are giving the belly rubs I can’t give.

I am not one to place many reviews, however Paws On The Run deserves all the accolades and more.
My wife has a gift of finding all the right things for our miniature pinscher Memphis and in this case she found The Best thing.
The first initial meet and greet not only helped our insecurities, but also helped us get to know that they are not just an every day dog walker. I truly believe they are special and have displayed it with our Memphis.
To further explain, let me provide a bit of back story. Since the day we brought Memphis home, we knew that training would be a must. If you are familiar with min pins you know they are not the easiest to train. We have gone through some training, however because he was so little at the time and my wife was pregnant rewarding him with treats became difficult. Now, I know what some people can say «why don’t I maintain the training?» Well, let’s just say one person pampers Memphis more than the other and he knows it and gets away with it.
That being said, we settled with the thought that with some training and Memphis just being a good dog, we were fine. He never sat, rolled over, played dead, or anything thing else, but overhaul he is obedient. Then, we met Paulette and Terry.
They changed him and us. My dog sits on command, lays down, and he is walking better with us. Although he still pulls on the leash, he knows that he has to be close by. They got him doing all this in a matter of a few days within the time limits we asked. All I have to say is, Thanks Memphis for making us look bad! Now we just have to resist spoiling him and keep up their routine.
I don’t know many dog walkers nor did we interview a lot, but I cannot express how grateful we are and how special they are to Memphis. Paulette and Terry have exceeded our expectations!!!

Very professional people to deal with that have always come through for me. My dog is a senior and has to have a little extra help. I seem to call at the last minute every time but have never been disappointed with the service.

Confession: I used to think that people who raved about how much their dogs LOVED their dog walkers were silly. Of course the dogs love them, their sole purpose in the dog’s life is to take them out to play!
Then I met Paulette, and my dog LOVES Paulette :)
My pup is mellow, but a little paranoid about me abandoning her or passing her on to someone else. Not with Paulette. We went on a test walk together the first time they met and my pup didn’t even notice when i handed Paulette the leash. By the time we got to a nearby park my faithful companion wanted nothing to do with me. I was home the next time Paulette walked up the stairs to my apartment, my pup (who usually barks when someone comes to the door) was wiggling her bum like a crazy mutt and happily walked out the door with barely a glance back.
I like Paulette, too, of course. Very professional, friendly, responsible, energetic and understanding about my scheduling needs. But most importantly she is such a natural with animals, and has such an obvious love for them, that I know my dog is not only safe and well cared for, but happy on her days out with Paulette.

I am absolutely thrilled that I have found Paws on the run! I am a very overprotective doggy mom, but Paulette quickly put my mind at ease with her knowledge and how she handled and cared for Mikey and Ellie. I just can’t say enough about Paulette, Joan and Becky-​they are just the best.
They are professional, they are honest, they are dependable, and they take care of your dogs as if they are their own!
I have definitely become a lifetime customer-​and I would recommend them to anybody in a heartbeat.

Buckley and I are so happy we found POTR! Paulette and Joan are wonderful. The business is very professionally run, and Buckley’s walker, Joan, does a great job with him everyday. In a perfect world, I wouldn’t have to leave my buddy everyday to go to work, but I feel so much better knowing that he is with capable and caring hands. I really appreciate the notes that Joan leaves for me everyday after their walk. I highly recommend POTR.

I’ve used Paws on the Run (Paulette in particular!) twice while I was out of the country. This business is so professional and when you return home, your pets will be happy, your home will be vacuumed, the mail will be brought in and the trash will have been taken out and bins returned to their spot. I couldn’t ask for more. I got emails while I was away with photos of how my two Persian cats were doing, and upon return home both times, I found a running set of notes of each visit You can trust that your little friends will be well cared for with Paulette and that your home will be cared for as well. She has had to clean up a few hairballs on the carpet, but she knows to look for them and I’m very happy that they’re gone when I return. I 100% recommend this business for the care of your pets.

Paulette and Paws On the Run have captured our doggies and kitties hearts FOREVER!!! She is the most compassionate and professional animal sitter that we have had the pleasure to use for our pets care services. She took care not only our two active CRAZY:) dogs but our two beloved cats. one of which is a very particular Bengal. She did a wonderful job keeping our household together and our animal family safe when we were gone. We would use Paulette’s services again in a heartbeat!!!

I love these ladies! My pit is the canine version of dennis the menace and needs all eyes on him. They are very professional and courteous. They have been walking my pit five days a week for a month now and I am absolutely grateful to have found them. They leave me notes about his walk and have great communication skills. Keep up the good work ladies. :)

Paws on the run saved my life! And more importantly my dog Zoe’s life. My cat Kirin is pretty self reliant but I’m sure she appreciates their company too!
I found this business on Unilocal and called like 3 days before I started my job (@yelp talk about coincidences) and was amazed that in just one day Debe and Paulette were in my house for the free meeting to see if we’d be a good fit. I had never used a dog walking service before so I didn’t know what to expect, and a little nervous, but their professionalism and clearly practiced knowledge of how to love their animals put me at ease. That meeting ended with me being confident that I had found a reliable, conscientious, and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY business to let into my home and trust my precious pup with.
I know it’s hard to give a «stranger» your key and let someone into your house, especially when you’re not around, but these ladies have not let me down and so far have my complete confidence. I definitely recommend Paws on the Run for both quality of service AND value! And as if their listed prices aren’t relatively cheap already, there’s a number of ways to receive discounts!
