We are a family business that focuses on decorating your home with characteristics that best describe you. We love to mix styles like modern and classic or industrial and glam-​chic to give you a design that compliments your lifestyle and interests. We have a deep understanding of both interior and exterior spaces. We can work with different color palettes to meet the needs of our collaborative vision. It was nice working with Eli. Her contractor came at right time and got the screws installed on the floor. That way noise reduced to a great extent. I would recommend her to everybody.

Working with Helei has been very difficult. She came to us with a recommendation and thus we decided to go with her. First issue we had she claimed she did not take AX but yet the funds went though and we had to pay her on VI also. She got the deposit twice from us. Secondly we had decided on a price and in between the job she decided she wanted to raise the price. We were so unhappy with all this. We decided to terminate the contract. Asking for receipts so we could fairly pay her for the paints. There were no receipts. I was asked to pay $ 2100 for paints alone plus $ 500 for labor. Paint that she purchased only cost $ 33 a gallon (as per retail price that I verified and have receipts since I had to go buy more paint) she bought 35 gallons for us not sure where the $ 2100 came from. We did pay her much less and settled the account terminated the contract. But what still is a mystery to me is how does a business claim they don’t take a certain card yet they get the funds and they refund you due to the termination of the contract. This is simple if your terminal is not registered to take AX the charge should have never gone through. Anyways I am sure the owner will be very un happy reading this. But for a moment please think how stressful it was for us to have to deal with you. We had to push out our moving date because we had to find new painters (who by the way are doing the job for half the price). Now I have to pay for one more month of public storage because we are 3 days late from their deadline. I had a religious ceremony set up which I have to push out also because I could not move in on my desired date. All this due to delayed painting which could have been resolved if Helei would not keep bumping our price in middle of the job. This is un fair. I have been a business owner myself for 7 years and my ultimate goal is to satisfy my client there are times where I had to take a bump on the price but I never let my customers down in the middle of a transaction. I am a very fair person for the most part and someone does a good job I don’t stop in giving compliments and for the most part I barely write reviews if I am not happy but this to me was un ethical and wrong so I am writing this.

We recently completed a major project at our home in Walnut Creek with the team from The Floor Gallery. The project included complete ceiling resurfacing and texturing, removal of old wallpaper and painting, and removal of carpet and installation of hardwood floors throughout the entire home.
We were on a very tight timeline to complete this project prior to moving in to our new home and The Floor Galley team was able to deliver a great quality job, while meeting our aggressive timeline.
Although we received estimates from several painting, flooring, and general contractors, we ultimately selected The Floor Gallery for two main reasons:
1. Eli, the owner, provided us with assurance that the job would be completed within our aggressive timeline
2. They offered a competitive bid for completing the entire project
This was a very complex project yet Eli was able to manage the different work teams so that work was completed with minimal downtime. She stayed connected with us throughout the process and accommodated our requests for minor touch ups once the work was completed. It was a pleasure to work with Eli on this project!
It was very exciting to watch as our home was completely transformed by The Floor Gallery team through the course of the project!
We would definitely engage The Floor Gallery for future projects!

Eli/​Summer,
I just wanted to share that I am completely unsatisfied with the service I have received from your side. We got Lamination installed in our whole house a little more than year back in Dublin — which seems to be done nicely and I will give credit for that to the installer only. There were some issues with transition strips installation that came up with in 3 months itself and reported back to Eli. My Daughter already tripped over and got hurt because of this transition strip which is coming off and not installed properly. If this incident happens again that would be surely very expensive to «The Floor Gallery». When I informed the same to Eli — I heard a weird response that she have never heard people/​kids tripping because of transition strips. And now another transition strip has came off completely and that is next to main entrance only. Pictures were shared with Eli too.
Its almost 1 year and nothing has been fixed yet. Recently about 2⁄3 months back Eli promised to fix them back but after hundreds of reminders/​calls/​messages I am still waiting that to be fixed. I am sure I should have given my reviews after couple of reminders/​calls only but I was over generous and accepted all the excuses from Eli so far. I would like this to be fixed at your earliest.
Service comes on your part where I would not like to give any star and stay in sync with other reviews on Unilocal.I believe you would need to work a lot to earn 1 or 2 stars at least.

Another disappointment we come to this company they say they’re open at 10 nobody there no answer on the phone and leave a voicemail but if nobody’s there who’s going to answer it its a second company we’ve been do for flooring where they post hours but there’s nobody there says they’re open nobody’s at the company how do you run a business like that

Eli is the best! They did excellent work painting and upgrading our kitchen counter tops. Our kitchen is beautiful! She also arranged to get the work done faster than any other vendor in the area. She is a delight to work with and had some great ideas to help us create a wonderful outcome. She responds to text, emails and calls promptly and provided great customer service. it doesn’t get any better than this. Thank you Eli :)

We worked with Eli during the sale of our house to get some renovation work done. She was extremely professional, direct and honest in her work. She did what she said, ensured that every detail was taken care of and managed the coordination with her contractors. We had an issue with one of the contractors that had come to the place — she made sure that contractor came back and fixed the issues.
Eli also did an amazing job with staging the place for the open house — she has a really good eye and sense for using the right furniture, arrangement and lighting to make the house look stunning! She got her own accessories that were just right for the place and managed the whole thing like it was her own!

Ok, I love this place, and especially Eli, who I can’t thank enough. There’s a bit of a story here. My wife is expecting our first child, and I wanted the job done in a week. I initially hired another contractor for my bathroom remodel and with whom I spent a couple of weeks planning the project. This guy (goes by the name Roberto Totti or Roberto Rivera Cruz) did the demo on the 1st day, applied some anti-​termite spray (with a really strong odor) and told me the next day he can’t do the job, leaving me shocked. I suspect he had other (possibly bigger) jobs booked at the same time.
Then I called The Floor Gallery which is right around the corner. I wasn’t sure if they’d take up a project left in this state, especially not having bought the materials from them. I spoke to Eli and explained the whole situation to her (including my wife’s condition). I was absolutely shocked and thrilled when she said that she would send her crew the next day! She totally saved my project and my family a lot of trouble.
Her crew was amazing and finished the job in a week! That too inspite of having some delay getting the stone cutter and fabricator (it was a custom wall and vanity). Eli is extremely responsive (she always answered when I called). She took care of getting remaining materials and all the details I was worried about.
I would highly recommend Eli and The Floor Gallery (and her crew) for and interior design and remodel. I have also seen her store for materials for my next project and they have a really good variety of stuff. I know exactly who I am going to for the remaining projects at my house.
The pricing is absolutely reasonable (both for materials and remodel) and is a bargain for the quality of work and dedication.

This place is terrible! I have tried to give them business on several occasions, but they dropped the ball both times. This last time I went in to get an estimate for two rooms (each about 200 square feet). I was quoted about $ 450 for each room. I asked «does that include padding and installation» and the answer was «yes»! I asked two times, and got the same answer. a day or so later, one of the workers stopped by to get the measurements. She was an hour late, and only showed up because I called the shop asking what happened to my appointment At this time, I was quoted $ 750 per room. There was a $ 300 price change in 24 hours. The woman who came to measure, blamed the price on «freight costs» and also blamed her employee for not knowing the correct prices. Very disappointing cause I wanted to give some business to my local community business. I ended up going to a place called Dicks Carpets in Oakland on Hegenberger court near the airport. This place was AWESOME. They have a lot of product on site (unlike the FLoor Gallery) so you could see what you were going to buy. They also had a great selection. I ended up paying $ 850 for three rooms. The sales people were great, and were willing to will and deal. After I selected my carpet, they asked me what my budget was, and got down to the price I wanted. They were great. I am putting hard wood in part of my house in the spring, and will definitely use this place. Their cutstomer service was excellent, whereas The Floor Gallery’s customer service was terrible (a lot of talk, no action, changing prices…).

We were looking to change the flooring of our house and ordered carpet from floorgallery. We went yo their showroom several times and every time their service was Great! They have a wide variety of carpets in their showroom like Mohawk and Shaw along with other well known brands. They helped me choose carpet which suited décor of my home and it turned out just GREAT.
We ordered a slightly high end Berber carpet with pattern — we love it. The carpet installers were also very good and we were impressed with their skill and professionalism. They installed the entire carpet in 1 day. Later on the owner told us they have 15 years experience in the business. I even referred a friend of mine and she ordered carpet through floor gallery as well. The quotes were reasonable with no hidden charges or additional charges after installation.
I would highly recommend floor gallery for carpet or any other home remodeling project. They’re experienced and have expertise in the business.

I recently had my bathroom renovated and The Floor Gallery did a great job. I knew what I wanted: Porcelain tile for the floor and also matching tile for inside the shower. They recommended adding a backsplash of mosaic tile and it came out great!
I was recommended by a friend I went to school with and it was worth the trip to Fremont (I live in Vallejo) to pick the tile and wallpaper. I would definitely recommend this company for any type of home renovation, especially bathrooms.
