I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduated from Los Altos High and San Jose State. I’ve been happily married for many years, and raised a son and a daughter, one of my better achievements.

My neighbor was a realtor, and when I was in seventh grade my mother told me I would be a good real estate agent. That planted the seed.

When purchasing my first home, I realized I had the skills to be a great real estate broker. Just by caring, being personable and customer-​service oriented, and a self starter, I knew I could be a success. I passed the exam and jumped in!

My hobbies include photography, swimming, boating and just being by the water. I love movies, music and concerts, cooking, people, animals of all kinds and shopping. The shopping part works to my clients advantage because I tend to be relentless in finding that perfect home, perfect buyer for my listings or tenant for a rental. Sandi managed our property in Fremont when we moved overseas for 4 years, and then helped us sell it when we came back to the US. Funny yet serious in business, extremely driven yet very personable, Sandi found us 3 tenants during that time that were nothing but perfect — when we came back from overseas, the house was pretty much the same as when we left it! Talk about flawless tenant selection. Then, when we decided to sell the house, she advised us to wait for the right time, and against our will we did — only to find out that she was completely right (as usual). We sold the house above asking price, which would probably not have happened if we had given in to our anxiety — all thanks to Sandi! I wish she worked in Redwood City too — we’d certainly have her as our realtor to help us buy our house here! Thanks, Sandi! We miss you … Cheers!

I wish it was possible to give a zero rating! I’ve never met a ruder more unprofessional person in my life. Yelled at me as if I were less than nothing because I asked about having the property where I lived for over 10 years painted. Said she would not allow me to keep renting after my ex husband moved for no other reason than my kids and I happen to be black! If you have any other choice I would not recommend renting from this woman she will make your life miserable

Just closed escrow on our new home, thanks to Sandi! We were so happy to have her in our corner, she went to bat for us every step of the way. Being first time home buyers, everything was new to us and Sandi carefully walked us through it all making the process much less stressful. She actively responded to any questions/​concerns we had as well as kept us in the loop as she worked with various lenders, real estate agents, title company personnel, etc. We definitely recommend Sandi to those who are looking to buy homes — she is your girl!

Sandi and I have worked together for years. She is an outstanding property manager and real estate agent who has integrity. She is someone I can trust.
Sandi helped me sell my house during the downturn of the market. She found buyers who loved my house and helped them thru the very complicated buying process; I owned the property with my ex-​husband who refused to sign the paperwork to sell the house… and I had to take him to court to get him out. During this time, Sandi stood by me when she could have walked away. Other real estate agents would never have dealt with the issues that presented themselves during the sale of that house.
After selling my house, Sandi found me my next 3 places to rent. I loved them all, but the last place I rented had an HOA with strict cookie-​cutter rules and I found it difficult to live in a home where I couldn’t seem to fit in. I didn’t feel like it was the right fit for me. Sandi helped me find the place where I live today and I didn’t think it was possible to like my new place better, but I do. I love it.
Sandi has been wonderful. I would never even consider going with a different real estate agent or property manager. Never!

So clearly my situation stands apart. Sandi Ohms has many fine reviews, which is why I signed a contract with her to be our property manager. However, I paid her for the first month of service and received NO service. She got into a major argument with our tenants and said either they go or she goes. Our tenants, who hadn’t caused us any trouble before — or since –, also said they would not work with Sandi. Sandi should have at least offered us a refund while bowing out. But as it is, she left me feeling ripped off and caused us much grief.

For the last year, Sandi has been our property manager for our first investment property. We were nervous about finding the right tenant and had to really lean on Sandi to find potential tenants and advise us on quality candidates. Her experience and knowledge has been invaluable.
Sandi has done an excellent job hand holding us through the process from acquiring quality tenants as well as keeping us updated about the house. She is well organized and is quick to respond to any questions that we have.

I can’t say enough about the professionalisim of Sandi Ohms. After a miserable divorce and a move to the bay area to start over, Sandi Ohms helped me buy my first home. The home was just the right place to regroup and figure out where life was going to take me next. During that sale Sandi was patient with me and explained everything, she helped me find a good loan and managed all the paperwork all the while with a positive attitude. Sandi has talked me through sticking with this home even when times became very hard. Sandi has always been there to answer any question I had about selling my house. And she was right to tell me to keep the house. I have since moved to Pleasanton with my new husband. I asked Sandi to sell the house but she again was right in encouraging me to stick with it. She explained she could rent it out and manage the whole thing while I got on with my new life. She has been managing my rental for 5 years now. I have not had a single issue with Sandi. She even had to find a renter very fast for me and because I was on my honeymoon she didn’t bother me and had it rented before I got back. My renters have always been screened properly and I have never had a renter in my house who has been a problem. I get my rent on time every month and I know the house is being taken care of. Now she is selling our home in Pleasanton and I couldn’t be happier. She is helpful, direct and calls just to see how we are doing living in a home with a lot of people coming through. Sandi is just the best. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone and in fact I have many times. She really is as good as it gets!

This has been a very frustrating experience. I have emailed her twice asking about her process for renting a home from her and all I received back is «what are you looking for»…so I stated again… ages, how many people, the importance of schools, being on a BART line… NOTHING. no response. nothing.
I need something NLT August 9th and have thousands of dollars sitting in a savings account waiting for me to find the perfect home so I can get my family down here to the Bay area. I am highly irritated.
I have no idea how she has almost five star service when I cannot get more than a five word sentence.

Being born and raised in San Francisco I had no idea where to start looking for a house in the East Bay. I came across a listing and she was so quick to respond and set up an appointment to view the property. She could see some hesitation in me when I saw the house and she recommended a different house that she thought would be a much better fit. She was absolutely right! I love my new house and she was so easy to work with. I don’t see myself leaving any time soon. You can tell she is very knowledgeable when it comes to real estate and knows what she’s doing and what she’s talking about. Sandi shows compassion and a genuine care for her clients.

I became acquainted with Sandi Ohms, over fourteen years ago. At that time I was selling my home looking to buy another and needed a realtor. I did not want just any realtor, I wanted someone who felt my passion for what I wanted at the time. I hired Sandi after meeting with her I was very impressed by her ability to connect with me and I knew she would secure a reliable sales in a short length of time.
Life has a way of sometimes turning around in a way you may not expect. My husband and I divorced, and a short sale of the home we had lived in for the last thirteen/​fourteen years was inevadable. Completely devastated, I called Sandi who within that week made the process as painless as she possibly could for me at a time when I was feeling an all time low. Once the short sale was complete (happened very fast) I moved to Pleasanton with my children. Wrong choice! I had a horrible commute to and from work, my children missed their friends and the town they grew up in, I had a landlord who would not let me place any utilities in my name after moving in among other things. So once again after living there a year I called Sandi. Knowing she not only was a phenomenal real estate agent but managed properties in the Fremont area for other home owners, I crossed my fingers something of hers was opening for rent in the coming months.
Once again Sandi came through with flying colors and secured a rental for us.
Sandi has been professional, every single time I have dealt with her in any business dealings. Perhaps most important of Sandi’s attributes is her forthrightness and honesty in dealing with us. I have found her to be very up front about every aspect from selling my homes, finding me the right home to buy and stepping backwards with me and putting me and my family in the perfect rental. For all the above reasons, I would like to heartily recommend Sandi Ohms of Residental Property Management, Inc. to anyone who is seeking someone with excellent leasing and management skills.

Working with Sandi was such a great experience. My girlfriend and I had been looking for over a month for affordable places in Fremont, CA and were having no luck with unresponsive renters, it was a nightmare. Sandi was very quick in getting back to us and setting an appointment to see the unit. She is always willing to answer any questions we have and was very flexible in scheduling appointments to see her. We are now settled in and are so happy with the service we received and are continuing to receive; she is very quick to get back to us with any issues we’re having as well. Thank you Sandi!

I found Sandi online and through her website, and I don’t regret one bit for choosing her as our property manager. I highly recommend her for your rental management. It was such a smooth transaction and her demeanor was very professional. She was able to screen and find tenants for me within 1 week! Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her service. She is very thorough and has always touch base with me in regards to potential tenants. I am so glad to have found her locally and for me, it is a sigh of relief that when I call I have always gotten a response within minutes or the same day. I contacted Sandi Ohms about managing my property today and I am very happy with her suggestions and response. I am busy so I needed fast, accurate information and a reasonable cost. Got all three! The consult was free and she spent considerable time with me. The tenant calls constantly about one thing or another. I explained that this property is a high maintenance tenant. She was willing to take it on and respond to all the calls etc. You can’t get better than that!

I would give no stars if I could. She told me she would do everything –with my approval– and I wouldn’t have to do anything. I wanted, and I told her that i wanted the inside of the house painted with color and not all white –it ended up, (at HER instructions) all sprayed white! Door jams, baseboards, walls, all the same white, a white that SHE chose! And I paid a HEFTY price for it too. I was the one that called the garage door to be installed, and then I was the one that recommended the carpet company. But when she left me a message telling me that I would have to get over there and leave a key under the mat so they could get in — because she can’t meet them over there– that did it! I was so mad that I was doing HER job I left her a not so nice message about that being her job. She quit. THANK GOODNESS!!! Excuse me, a key under the mat??? Oh– and when I met the carpet company he told me he was going to have to go to her house to show samples. She won’t leave her house to do her business, they have to come to her. Or YOU have to do it!

I called Sandi immediately about taking over as property manager for my husband’s house in San Jose. She felt she could not give it proper attention as her focus is in Fremont, Newark and Milpitas. However, she spent a good deal of her personal time, AT NO CHARGE, going over what I should look for in a property manager, explaining contracts and helping me to find someone who is in San Jose. Years ago Sandi represented me as buyer’s agent when I bought my house. I could not have had a better experience. Sandi knows her business. She is straight-​forward, HONEST and extremely competent.

I contacted this place because I was looking to rent a property and was having issues. I received a lot of help from the owner of the company and wound up finding my own renters shortly after contacting them, if they had made it out to Stockton area I would have used them to manage my property. The nice thing about dealing with this place though was I called in for advice and received prompt help with all my questions even though they knew that I was not going to be able to use their services, I love it when people help just for the sake of being nice.
